"Hey, Terra? I've been caught."

"Whoever you are, come out. We know you've been spying."

"I haven't done anything." Wayne replied. "You're the one planning to steal money."

Count Olaf chuckled deviously. "Well, now that we're on the same page, why don't you reveal yourself?"

Dwayne frowned. "Nah. I'm in disguise here, too." He reasoned. "That won't help at all."

"Are you sure?" Olaf asked. "You could come onto my side, and get lots of money. An enormous fortune."

"I've already got enough money."

"Come on, at least tell me your name."

Dwayne thought for a second. "Nope."

And he ran out of Olaf's presence.

Back in the school, it was time for Ven's test. Ms. Judd was yelling again, and he knew she meant business.

"If you fail, you will have to go to Principal Nero's office and he'll deal with you there. This isn't just an ordinary school. This is Prufrock Prepatory! And here, failing is a very bad thing. Just remember that."

Well, she was right about one thing. Prufrock wasn't an ordinary school. It was torture. At least, Count Olaf was. His friends were the break from stress, the good part about the school.

But as Ven did the test, he found it to be hard. Like, really hard.

Maybe it was because he hadn't payed attention in class, or because this school was more advanced, but this test was hard.

In fact, when Ven turned in the test, he was sure that he had failed.

He went to lunch worried, knowing that something bad would happen when he got his grade.

"What? It was hard?" Isadora asked, confused.

"Yeah, like I couldn't figure out a lot of the answers."

"Huh. That's strange." Duncan said. "It shouldn't be that hard."

"Was it a mistake?"

"I'm not sure. I guess you'll have to find out when you get the grade."

"Did he get the grade?"

"No, not yet. But he'll have it soon."

"And then what?"

"Well, it depends on what grade he got. Hopefully he didn't fail."

"What happens... When he fails?"

".... Something very bad. Failing means 1 of 2 things. Either he wasn't taught right, or he didn't pay attention. And I know he was taught right."

Count O- uhhh, "Coach Genghis" frowned. "But why wouldn't he pay attention? He's passed all my classes."

"Um, Coach Genghis, he hasn't been in any of your classes." Principal Nero said.

"Oh. Right."

"Well, I gotta go. See you soon, Coach!"

Nero left, and Count Olaf's henchmen crept out from the shadows.

"I hope he failed." One of the white women said.

"Me too." The other replied.

"He better have failed." Olaf grinned. "Because then, we'll be able to carry out our plan."

And did he fail? Unfortunately, yes. Because Ms. Judd had told Ven to go to the office.

So when Ven entered, he expected Principal Nero.

But what he got, was...

"Hello, Ventus." Count Olaf smiled.

"What do you want?" Ven glared at him.

"Let me show you."

He grabbed Ven and put a bag over his head.

"Hey! Get off of me!"

But his voice was only muffled. Count Olaf led the boy to his car. Ven took the bag off and glared at the villain.

Olaf lifted up the top of his trunk to reveal what he had been hiding.

"I told you I would show you." He grinned.

"Georgie!"

570 words.
