CHAPTER 3

He Strikes And Wins

Destiny's P.O.V

Through half way, watching the movie, we heard laughter from the porch. We looked at each other confused, i paused the movie. Again, we heard laughter from outside.

"Where's the laughter coming from?" asked Patty looking horrified.

"It's coming from outside, isn't that obvious?" said Nora. Everybody looked at the window, Gabe wanted to move the curtain to see who is was but he didn't.

"Okay, Patty let's go and check the door" Gabe said looking at him.

"Are you kidding me? Or have you lost it? How the hell do you expect me to go to the door and let the Nun take me away?" He said almost shouting.

"Don't chicken out, you idiot!. You are coming with me" Gabe said sternly.

Patty realised everyone was looking at him so he said "Fine, but if it takes me away. Then i'm dragging you with me" . They stood up and started to walk towards the door, that's when the curtain slightly moved and we saw Kate and Josh. Nora and i looked at them and smiled at each other, i had a plan to scare the pants out of them. I pulled Nora closer and told her my plan. After that, i started with my plan.

I went to switch of the lights area and started playing with them. Gabe and Patty looked at each other and screamed a small cry and held each other tight. Suddenly, Patty stopped at his point and looked at me and Nora.

"Guys, i wanna tell you something in case the Nun really does come, i'm the first one. Nora i really like you" After saying that he opened the door.

We found Kate and Josh kissing dangerously at the doorstep. While Patty and Gabe were full screaming with closed eyes. Nora and i started laughing like dumb monkey's getting loose.

Poor Katey an Josh looked so embarrassed and slowly came inside. That's when Gabe and Patty saw them.

"You freaks! Can't you guys give us some privacy!" shouted Katey annoyed while we laughed.

"Well you guys should get a room. The doorstep is not an appropriate place for making out" Gabe shouted back, sitting beside me and laughing his butt off. Beside me, Nora became quiet. I looked at her and Gabe whispered to me that she had heard what Patty said to her.

Nora got up, walked to Patty and said "What did you say?"

"What ever i said, i meant it. It's true that since we were friends i liked you. It's true that i cared for you.It's true that when ever you had a boyfriend i got jealous. Nora even though we fight  the most, I still care about you. I wanna spend my future with you, Nora. I really do love you even though you might think that i'm a freak or idiot or  whatever. You can call me whatever you want. I can't keep it any longer, okay, it hurts to see you with other guys when i'm in love with you. So Nora, will you be my girlfriend and maybe my wife in future?" He asked in tears, leaving Nora speechless for a few minutes.

"Patty, i can't believe what you are saying now. I honestly don't know if i should cry or smile" Nora said.

"Why do you wanna cry" asked Patty.

"Because i'm such an idiot. I'm the stupid person. I didn't realise this before, that you liked me. I used to think that you were into Clara, your ex. That's why i used to hang out with other guys" Nora answered.

"Clara? She was just there to make you jealous, then i realised that you didn't like me so i broke up with her" Patty said sadly.

"Ohhh...Ok. Patty, i also love you. I seriously can't imagine my life without you" Nora said. Patty got up, put his hands on her waist, pulled her closer and kissed her passionately.
