Lost But Not Forgotten

CHAPTER 12

Destiny's P.O.V

After a very devastating long night of packing, i had finally managed to pack some clothes. My alarm went off at 7:30 and i was still dreaming about me chasing a big pizza. Suddenly, i realised that we had to go for a vacation. That's the reason for the damn alarm. Struggling my way out of bed, i make it to the bathroom.

20 minutes later, i was fully dressed in ripped shorts, dark blue off shoulder top and adidas trainers. Pouring milk in my cereal, i hear my phone buzzing in my back pocket. Looking in, i see that it was Gabe, typical, Gabe.

"Hey!" I exclaim trying to sound excited.

"Hey! Wow finally you are interested in this trip.. i guess?"

"Yeah, sure. Why not?" I say eating a spoon full of cereal.

"Great! I just wanted to make sure you were ready. So since you are, i'm thinking. I'll be there in 10 minutes to pick you up. If you're not then you should get started because i'm not waiting"

"Wait! What? I've got a car. I can drive there"

"Everyone is going in pairs and we are the only ones left. I thought, it would help you on saving your fuel and you wouldn't have to drive. I was just helping, but if you don't want help then i'm going on my own" I thought for a minute then change my decision.

"Okay, wait. I'll ride with you. Be here in 10 minutes because everyone has left" I said and finished my cereal.

After a long 4 hours of drive we reach at the Resort. I should say, my ride was great. I had free food on the way, perfect driving, soothing songs and i could relax my feet on Gabe's. Yup! That one was so intentional.

"We're here!" I shout getting out. We meet everyone in the carpark then Nora and Patty decide to go an check us in.

"Hey, sorry i wasn't able to give you a ride" Katey saying holding Josh's hands.

"That's okay. I had the best ride ever! You wouldn't believe it" I say to her.

"Speak for yourself!" Gabe scoffs.

"Bro, what happen? You look sick" Josh asks looking at Gabe and this makes Gabe act more intense.

"She first turns on the most annoying song on the radio, then nudges me every 5 minutes to drive slower then faster, then i had to buy her food. Not only these things she even placed her feet on my legs and slept the rest of the way. I swear when we return, you will have to ride with Katey" He tells us irritated.

"Excuse me? The only correct thing you said there was me placing my feet on you and sleeping. You were the one wanting to buy me food, i even insisted but you just paid for it. The songs were on your freaking phone and for fuck's sake you drove and i didn't even say anything about your driving" I shouted at him angrily. Everyone just looked at me wide eyed.

"Bro, i guess she speaks!" Josh says scared.

"Duh! I got a freaking mouth. Never mind, i'm just going in. Katey you coming?" I ask and she jumps by my side and we head to the reception area.

"What was that all about?" Katey asks on the way.

"I really have no idea. I don't know why Gabe even said that. We were having great fun....i guess Gabe is having his men period" I say laughing an Katey joins. As we enter, Nora and Patty come to us with the room keys. They hand me and Katey one key and go off to the others.

"Yay! We are staying together. I thought you were going to stay with Josh" I say happily. She looks at me and smiles then holds my hand and we go check the inside of the resort, near the open ocean.
