CHAPTER 5

Gabe's P.O.V

When i found out that Destiny was going on a date with Maxwell, i felt sore. It's been years since i liked her and i even chased her ex away. Yeah maybe i sound like a psycho but i ain't one. I just really love her.

Today couldn't get worse, seeing her go with another guy, just crushes me. As soon as she leaves everybody looks at me. They all knew except Destiny, who should be the one knowing.

"Yo bro. You okay?" Patty says looking at my expression.

"Yeah, what's wrong with me?" i say. Not able to hold me tears anymore i let it out. I probably looked like a girl but i don't care any more.

"Hey, hey. It's okay. We've got to figure out something" Katey says and sits beside me.

"What do you want to do now. Everything is finished and maybe in two days she might even plan a wedding for herself" I say shaking.

"With you with the groom. Yep!" Nora says.

"Hey! Stop crying like a girl who's candy got stolen!" Patty exclaims.

"You've got to tell her,man. She needs to know" Katey says. I wipe my tears away and sit properly.. like a man...

"Guys, thanks for your help, but i don't think that she would even listen to me. So Nora please make some pop corn and let's watch a movie" I say trying sound reasonable.

"Okay we'll drop the topic now. But some time later we're getting you" Patty says.

Nora goes to make pop corn and i turn on Netflix.  We watch a funny movie then Josh joins us. Sometime later, the girls go to make lasagna while we watch another movie.

When the girls finish, everybody digs up to the tasty lasagna.

At least that lightens my mood....but then it's just for a few minutes cause the lasagna is going to finish.

Destiny's P.O.V

Max drops me home and i literally run to my door. I hear him say bye but i just ignore it. Getting inside i see everybody watching a movie and that Josh was also joined them. I quietly rush upstairs to get changed. I didn't want to go downstairs and face everybody, telling them what happened but unfortunately i had to.

Walking down slowly, i sit beside Gabe who was sitting alone in the three sitter couch.

"Oh My Gosh!...What the hell girl! You scared me to death" He shouted and i started to laugh at his reaction. Honestly, his reaction was something to see.

"Chill out man. It's just me" I say after a fit of laughter.

"Well for your information.. i didn't know that until i saw you"

"Then you should have looked before"

"How am i suppose to know that you were going to come....By the way when did you even come?"

"See you should be more alert. Next time a serial  killer comes don't blame him. It's you who should be more cautious"

Before he could say anything Katey interrupts. "When did you come? Next time ill make sure i lock the door"

"Yup. If there is a next time"

"What happen? Is everything okay? Speck up!" Nora shouted from one end of the room. I laugh slowly then tell them everything.  

"His probably an asshole.. that bitchass dickhead" Gabe said angrily. I look at Gabe with a questionable look.

"What? You deserve better" He says answering my look. They all agreed.

The movie finished in another 10 minutes.

Patty and Nora decide to go home and Katey and Josh follow behind. This time everyone takes their own cars....thanks a lot guys........

When they leave i see Gabe lying on the couch, as i get to him i see him sleeping. Such a cute site. I quickly get a blanket for him and cover him up. Not wanting to wake him up from his sleep, since it was Friday  tomorrow a public holiday, we didn't have to worry about work and to get up early. I didn't feel sleepy anymore so i grabbed my phone and sat on the couch and checking  up with my social media.

After 2 hours of that (yes an addict of that), i start getting up when Gabe wakes up. His expression was  priceless because he looked like he saw a ghost.

"What the hell? I'm still at your place?" He asks stunned. I make a face at him, acting hurt.

"Well....today Prince Charming became Sleeping Beauty....Fascinating right?" I respond to him, remembering what he said to me the other day.

"You didn't wake me?" He scoffs.

"Nah...Prince Charming looked cute while he was sleeping. You know they should change the story and write The Sleeping Prince Charming because it definitely suits you" I say laughing, while he just glares at me.

I look at the time and realised that it was 2:30 am.

"Okay. Since it's late or I'll say early in the morning, you are staying over. Get the blanket, i'll show you the guest room. Please don't say no, cause i won't take it" I order walking to the stairs and feel him coming behind me.....typical.

As I show him the room, he looks at me bored or sleepy.... i guess and says "Mind if i sleep with you?"

"That would be great but not tonight" I say smirking at him as he laughs.

"By the way, if i get up late. Things for breakfast is in the fridge and you know the rest but don't go before i wake up" I say strictly "Good night"

"Good morning" He says and jumps in bed as i smile and head for my room. I don't think i'll be able to get up before 12 in the day.

I get to y room and close my door. Falling on my bed i realise how sleepy i was, but Trouble being Trouble gave me Trouble...

Get it...?

"You know his really cute...... oh wait..... you already like him... who am i kidding" She says.

"No...you're just jealous you don't have a friend like him"

"Wait, wait. I forgot, you liked him for years now but he doesn't know right?"

"That's not true! We are great friends. That's it"

"Says the girl who thought Max was a nice guy"

"Well no one thought he would be that bad"

"Except for me. I told you in the starting"

"Why am i having this conversation with you. I'm going to bed"
