XDIE Legends : The Walking Dead's Last Jedi

Chapter 2 : New Visitors

Many years ago (The Walking Dead Season 1 Timeline)

"Lilly, we couldn't just leave them out there" I said. "They were trapped" I said.

"I know you're a jedi Locke but you're young too. Because of yours and Carley's actions, we have walkers banging on our front door begging to get in" said Lilly. I looked towards the ground, I couldn't let them die but Lilly has a point. "Don't be to harsh, he was just doing what he believed, what he was trained to do" said Doug.

An old man named Larry approached me. He was a grumpy old man but I besides his daughter Lilly, I was the only one he got along with. He put his hand on my shoulder to ease my emotions. He then looked at the group I rescued. It was a African American adult male, he had short black hair and a beard. He looked like hell but he had determination in his eyes. Next to him stood a girl, she had a baseball cap on and was a little shy. Next to them stood a family of three. A white adult make with a messed up beard and a baseball cap. Next to him was and adult female with blond hair. She was holding a young boy, about the same age as the girl.

Larry focused his attention on the boy who was covered in walker blood. "I don't want to scold Locke for his act. It may have been reckless but he did what any jedi would. However, that boy needs to go... he's been bitten" Larry said in a serious voice. I could tell he was getting angry. Larry moved towards the group but was ready to grab the boy.

"Larry wait, he might be ok" I said. "Locke look at him, that looks like a bite to me. I don't want to be trapped in here with one of those things" Larry yelled. The little girl that was standing behind the group passed me and went to the restroom. She looked scared, horrified by everything that was happening. "Hey, are you going to be ok" I asked. "I'll be ok, I just need to go use the restroom" she said. She began to open the door to the restroom but immediately jumped back. A walker was in there and began to reach for her. I immediately rushed to her and ignited my blade to attack it. With a quick jump and swirl I removed its head and the walkers body fell.

I looked at the girl and reached out my hand to help her up. She took it and with ease was back on her feet again. "Thank you... for saving me" the girl said. Before I could respond, the African American rushed to her side. "Clementine, are you ok. Did it get you" he asked. "No Lee, the jedi saved me from the walker. I'm ok" said Clementine. The man I now knew as Lee, looked at me. "Thank you Locke, for looking out for her"

I smiled at him. "No problem, it's what jedi do. Helping people is all I care about"

Lilly and Larry came to us to check on the situation. "What happened..." Lilly asked. "This girl... Clementine came to the restroom and a walker attacked her" I said. "Well at least it was your blade that killed it and not a gun... we don't need anymore visitors banging the walls" said Lilly. Lilly and Larry then left us alone.

"So, your a jedi. I'm not gonna lie, that's hard to believe. I thought you all were gone... you know" Lee said.

"I got lucky. Thanks to my Master, I got out and live to fight another day although I'm very young. I never did fully complete my training" I said. "For what it's worth, having some training is a lot better than nothing" said Lee. I looked at my lightsaber I had, the one thing that made a jedi who he was... well besides the force. "I miss my Master, he taught me well" I said.

The family of three that was with Lee and Clementine approached me. "Hi..." the man in the group said. "I'm Kenny, I just wanted to say thank you for sticking up for my son Duck. Thanks for saving us back there as well" said Kenny. The woman holding Duck smiled at me. "I'm Katjaa... it's nice to meet you Locke" she said.

"It's nice to meet you to... all of you. I'm sorry about how Lilly and Larry reacted. They're a little sensitive..." I said. "That's putting it nicely" Kenny said.

"I'm glad to know at least one jedi lived on... even if he's a young one" said Katjaa. I leaned back on a wall to relax. Clementine looked at me then to Lee. "You look like a good father" I said. Lee looked at me confused. "I'm actually not her dad, I found her in a house... she was alone" said Lee. "Then your a good person looking out for a kid... a bit of a shy one" I said. Lee looked happy to hear that.

"Do you know where I can find some food, like some candy or something" Lee asked. "Check the shelves, you might find a few candy bars" I said.

"Thanks Locke" Lee said. He then took Clementine walked back towards Kenny and his family. I thought to myself. I've only know Lee for a little bit but I've already got a positive impression of him. He's carrying, almost like my Master. Clementine is in good hands...
