When Dax is finished talking to the scummy Shumway, I slowly had a seat with my hand on my wound. Raven has set it up where we can video talk with our families.
"Skyla." Dad says when he finally appears. "Abby told me you were stabbed; are you okay?"
"I am fine, dad." I reply. "Clarke saved my life."
"For nearly dying, you look amazing." Dad jokes.
"Dad, nothing to joke about." I reply with a smirk, then I turn serious. "Is Abby still hiding my miscarriage?"
"Yes, but why hide it if the baby was Jasper's?" Dad asks.
"Because it wasn't." I reply. "When I killed them men, them guards, it was because they gang raped me, dad."
Dad's eyes darken. "And you were pregnant and miscarried one of their babies?"
"That's why I asked Abby to hide it." I admit.
Dad rubs his mustache and he looks directly at the camera. "Are you ok?"
"Time goes by different here, but I think today is my birthday." I say with a smile.
"Eighteen already, and alive." Dad winks.
"I'll get the next one." I say and I limp out.

"Hey." Jasper says as he comes into Bellamy's tent. "How you feeling?"
"Other than the bedrest Clarke put me on after I talked to my father?" I scoff. "I'm sore."
"You're healing, you can't open the stab wound anymore." Jasper speaks in a kind voice. "I'm glad you moved on."
"I miss you." I admit in a whisper. "I told my dad.... About the miscarriage, and I told him why I killed those guards."
"Good." Jasper smiles.
"I need to change your bandage." Raven says as she walks in.
"I'm going to get you some more water, Skyla Kane." Jasper says before leaving the tent.
"Kane?" Raven inquires as she removes the bandage Clarke put on me. "You never told me your last name on the Ark; is Marcus your dad?"
"Yes." I reply as she cleans my wound, I hiss at the stinging. "Ouch, Raven."
"Sorry." Raven replies sheepishly.
I smile at her and she puts a clean bandage on the wound.
"I'll check in later." Raven says before she walks out of the tent, and Jasper rejoins with a canteen full of water.
"Enough to last you a while." Jasper claims and sits beside.

"Oh, my god." Monty muses as enters the tent.
"What?" Jasper questions.
"Earth is scary." Monty replies. "It's amazing fresh air, trees, nuts. These taste better than usual, right?" Oh, I'd like to give earth a faint hug."
"You're acting weird." I comment.
"I feel weird, but in a good way." Monty replies.
"I'm gonna pee." Jasper says and leaves, Monty does too, leaving me alone.
I close my eyes, knowing I am safe in Bellamy's tent, and I dose off.

Raven is sitting on the bed with me now, her and Finn broke up. I knew it was coming, he likes Clarke. He may even love her.
"Hey, is the moon in here?" Monty says as he sticks his head in here.
"Monty--"
"I can't change the tide if the moon won't cooperate." Monty says.
"Get out of here." I demand.
"It's basic physics." He mumbles before walking out.
"Oh, stay here, Skyla." Raven says and she steps out. "Scratch that, get out here."
I sigh as I slowly get up, and step outside. A bunch of people acting crazy from the rations they've been eating.
"I got this one." I say when we see a girl crying. "Hey, hey."
"What?" She asks.
I point in a direction and she walks away. When I stand, I come face to face with the grounder who stabbed me with a poisoned blade. He seems shocked I'm alive. He hurries past me before I can talk to him.
***
"Let the Grounders come." Bellamy says as he and Clarke walk in, he drops a blanket with guns inside -- my eyes widen. "We've been afraid of them for far too long, and why? Because of their knives and spears. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being afraid." His eyes find me. "Skyla, come over her."
I walk over and Bellamy pulls me into a tight hug, but not too tight because of my injury.
"These are weapons, ok, not toys, and we have to be prepared to give them up to the guard when the dropships come, but until then, they're gonna help keep us safe." Clarke preaches.
"And there are plenty more where that came from." Bellamy states. "Tomorrow we start training, and if the grounders come, we're gonna be ready to fight."
Bellamy and I walk towards the wall, Bellamy puts a blanket over Octavia's back. She smiles at me as Bellamy wraps an arm around me again.
"I don't expect you to forgive me," Bellamy says, "but you'll have to learn to live with me because I'm not going anywhere."
"Bellamy, it's time." Clarke says as she walks over.
Bellamy tenses. "Skyla's coming too."
"Fine." Clarke smiles.
"Grounder escaping, was that you?" Bellamy asks his sister.
"I had nothing to do with it." Lie! "Thanks for the blanket.
Bellamy sits between Clarke and myself in front of the screen, where Jaha is.
"Hello, Miss Kane." Chancellor Jaha smiles at me. "Mr. Blake, I've wanted to talk to you for some time now."
"Before yo do, I'd like to say something." Clarke says. "When you sent us down her, you sent us to die, but miraculously, most of us are still alive. In large part, that's because of him, because of Bellamy. He's one of us, and he deserves to be pardoned of his crimes just like the rest of us. And so does Skyla."
"Clarke, I appreciate your point of view, but it's not that simple." Jaha says.
"If you knew who sent them guards to gang rape me, it is." I say.
Bellamy tenses when I say this. "It is if you want to know who it is on the Ark who wants you dead."
"Bellamy Blake, Skyla Kane; yo are pardoned of your crimes." Jaha speaks, Clarke is staring at me and has been since I mentioned my rape, the reasoning behind the murders. "Now, tell me."
"Shumway." We sat at the same time.
Bellamy takes my hand beneath the table and he holds it tightly.
Bellamy holds me close in his tent. "You were raped by four guards; what happened?"
"I killed them, beat the four of them to death." I reply as I stare at the top of his tent. "I had a miscarriage while in lock up at fifteen."
"I'm still here, I'll protect you no matter what." Bellamy whispers and we just lay here.
