Thid person point of view

As they dwarves sit around the elves dinning table, Ori picks up a lettuce leaf.

"Try it. Just a mouthful." Dori mothers Ori.

"I don't like green food." Ori moans.

Dwalin roots through the bowl infront of him looking for meat, how ever elves are vegitarian. "Where's the meat?" Dwalin complains.

"Have they got any chips?" Ori questions. Gandalf and Elrond head towards the private table to join Thorin after attending to Gelli's wounds.

" Kind of you to invite us. I'm not really dressed for diner." Gandalf jokes.

" Well, you never are." Elrond fires back as they meet Thorin at the table as they take there seats with the other dwarves at a different table. At the dining table, Elrond examines the swords that Gandalf and Thorin had taken from the trolls cave.

"This is Orcrist, the Goblin-cleaver. A famous blade, forged by the High Elves of the West. My kin." Elrond informs Thorin handing the sword back. "May it serve you well."

"And this is Glamdring. The Foe-hammer, sword of the King of Gondolin. These swords were made for the Goblin wars of the First " He infers as he studies Gandalfs Blade.

"How did you come by these?" Elrond asks looking for more information.

"We found them in a troll hoard on the Great East road, shortly before we were ambushed by orcs." Gandalf practically spits the last part.

"And what were you doing on the Great East road?" Elrond trys fishing. Thorin excuses him self from the table wondering over to balcony turning his back from the dwarves.

"Thirteen dwarves,a halfling and my niece strange traveling companions.Gandalf." Elrond states matter of faculty as he takes a mouth full of wine.

"These are descendants of the house of Durin. There noble decent folk and surprisingly pungent, they have a deep love of the arts" Gandalf defends his company.

The music changes to a depressing tune and the dwarves start mumbling and complaing about being at a funeral and some one dying.

"All right lads there only one thing for it." Bofur says as he goes to stand on a small table. And he starts to sing and all the others join in including Thorin who stomps his foot to the beat.

There's an inn, there's an inn, there's a merry old inn

beneath an old grey hill,

And there they brew a beer so brown

That the Man in the Moon himself came down

one night to drink his fill.

The ostler has a tipsy cat

that plays a five-stringed fiddle;

And up and down he saws his bow

Now squeaking high, now purring low,

now sawing in the middle.

So the cat on the fiddle played hey-diddle-diddle,

a jig that would wake the dead:

He squeaked and sawed and quickened the tune,

While the landlord shook the Man in the Moon:

‘It’s after three!’ he said.

Gelli's Point of view.

I walked towards the balcony where i knew the company would be eating as i got closer the sound of dwarvish sing started and i knew then what i would do. Even through i could risk splitting open the stitches.

As i walked onto the balcony i hid in the shadow ducking occasionally from flying food, when i saw Thorin i decided to head towards him. As i got closer the dwarves still had not noticed me and a Thorin was facing away from everyone but was also stopping his foot i grabbed at his hand that was at his side turning him around to face me. When he saw me his face instantly calmed from the surprise. Before he realized what i was doing, i all ready had him in the middle of the balcony dancing with me. No words where needed to show the love and worry between us, as just being in his arms was enough. We danced around the balcony, some off the others joining in and by the time we had finished we were stood holding onto each other looking out over the balcony. Nothing else matter to us nobody else was there and nobody came to talk to us. When we were ready to move back to the group Little Gerdin came running towards me as i went to pick him up i felt something go and i fell backwards only to be caught by Thorin as i blacked out.
