chapter 5 Radagast the Brown

Third person point of view.

Bilbo is the first one to be freed. And soon Thorin is free but instead of getting dressed (as he's in his undergarments) he rushes over to Gelli. He places her head in his lap to try and comfort her as he calls for Gandalf. Gandalf places his hand on the top of her head muttering some words. (As he tries to fix the broken shoulder and collar bone).By the time heed muttered the last of the words Gelli's eyes fluttered open fixing on Thorin.

Thorin's point of view.

Just as quickly as it took Gandalf to reach us. Gelli was staring right at me her eyes penetrating through my sole, making me feel like id come home. Before i had engaged my brain my heart had acted on impulse and id lifted her head allowing my lips to come crashing down on hers. As soon as id realized what id done i pulled away but to my surprise and joy she pecked my lips, i answered by kissing back and soon we were moving in sync. i had really come home. Here i was holding in my arms the one thing i cant live with out. The heart is defiantly where the home is. We finally broke apart by Gandalf coughing. Looking up the entire company was starring. Gelli through her head at my chest trying to hide however the lack of cloths didn't help. She was even more beautiful when she blushed to me.

Soon all the company where fully clothed and searching for the troll cave as trolls can't move in the day. Soon the cave was found the smell was stomach turning. Gelli stayed with Fili and Kili as she was worried about spilling her guts all over the floor as the smell started to get to her. The cave floor was covered in a thin layer of gold coins. But a shinning something court my eye. As i moved closer and handled the object i noticed it was a sword but difficult to tell for sure in the light. (As it could have been a dagger or long knives.) according to Gandalf the swords were made by the high elves as i went the drop the sword ( Il have nothing belonging to the elves) Gandalf told me i "could not ask for a better blade" but this still did not mean i liked the sword however much it intrigued me.

Soon after we all had left the cave and id made sure Gelli was alright a noise headed are way alerted us the the possible danger. In one quick move i held Gelli behind me out of danger and the new blade ready in the other.

However a complete utter nut job riding a slay pulled by rabbits emerged from the under growth, who turned out to be a friend of Gandalf.

Gelli's point of view.

As we waited for gandalf to finish talking. the rest of the group sat talking or moaning about one thing or another. i was sat on a rather uncomfortable rock after giving up looking for the veil. How could Thorin one day stand there shouting horrid, vile things and the next be there holding me, kissing me like in Erebor in the days of peace. Although i had missed him, an apologies for his words would be nice, but he must have been glad to see me.

A howl split the silence and i was pushed behind Throin yet again.

"Was that a wolf? Are there ... wolves out there?" stuttered Bilbo.

"Wolves! No, that is not a wolf." Bofur replied as his bravery started to fail.

Suddenly something growls from behind them and they all turns to see a warg scouts Thorin takes down one with a mighty blow from his new sword. Kili and Dwalin both attack the second.

"Warg scouts! Which means an orc pack is not far behind!" bellows Thorin.

"Orc pack?" Bilbo questions nervously.

 "Who did you tell about your quest, beyond your kin?" Gandalf interrupts rudely.

 "No one." defended Thorin.

 "Who did you tell?" Gandalf demands.

"No one, I swear! What in Dorin's name is going on?" questions Thorin unsure for the first time.

"You are being hunted." Replied Gandalf.

"We have to get out of here." Dwalin interrupts.

"We can't! We have no ponies." They bolted. Ori joins in.

 "I'll draw them off."  Radagast suggests.

 "These are Gundabad wargs. They will outrun you!" Gandalf fires.

"These are Rhosgobel rabbits. I'd like to see them try." Radagast defends.

We see Radagast racing on his rabbit sled across the open plain being pursued by the wargs and orcs.

 Radagast yells in the distance "Come and get me!". 

 "Come on!" Gandalf orders.

Gandalf leads the group and Thorin looks back at me holding ou his hand as are fingers intertwine as we run off following Gandalf from the back.

"Stay together." Gandalf bellows. 

 "Move!" Thorin yells not to be out done.We run near the large boulders as we try to hide from the orcs. Suddenly Thorin puts his arms around my waste stopping from running as he pulls me up against a boulder with the other. "Ori, no! Come back." Thorin remarks as Dwalin stops the dwarf running into the view of the orc that's now on the top of our boulder. Thorin nods to Kili and he steps out shooting the beast as it falls it squeals as Dwalin and Gloin silence the animal.

 "All of you, come on, come on! Quick!" Gandalf yells as he starts running again as we all follow.

"Where are you leading us?" Thorin questions from beside of me. As we run.

Third person view point.

"There they are!" Gloin pipes up.

"This way! Quickly!" Gandalf yelled.

"There's more coming!" Kili paniced.

"Kíli! Shoot them!" Thorin yells as Gelli draws her sword.

 "We're surrounded!" Fili yells.

Kili starts to shoot arrows as the others get ready to fight.

"Where's Gandalf?" Fili questions.

 "He's abandoned us!" Dwalin suggests. As the orcs get nearer

 "Hold your ground!" Thorin yells from next to Kili.

 "This way, you fools!" Gandalf yells getting my attention as the company start to run.

 "Come on, move! Quickly! All of you!" Thorin yells."Go, go, go!" he yells again.

The dwarves all start jumping down the hole.Thorin shouts to Kili as he kills another orc with his bow. "Kíli! Run!" He yells again. They start to make a run for it as the orcs advance one swings at Gelli's side as it hits it's mark, the power behind the strike throws her against the boulder. As she screams out in pain. Thorin turns from the entrance to watch as he runs towards her. Gandalf grabs his arm puling him and Kili into the hole. Leaving Gelli.
