Chapter 15: Apprehension Test

It started with the 50-meter dash. All of the students were paired to one another. Izuku got paired with a fire related quirk, explosion, which belongs to Katsuki.

The test started. Izuku and Katsuki was the last to run. Everybody used their quirks to their fullest. When it's time for their turn, Izuku got ready.

Then, Katsuki started his explosions. Izuku, being the smartest of their class, because hr still belongs to the support class, thought of an idea. I can use his quirk to win. If I control the fire, I can have less number of seconds.

Izuku controlled Katsuki's quirk. Of course, Katsuki didn't bother. Izuku used Katsuki's fire just like Katsuki used his quirk. Izuku knew he was beside Katsuki. He want to go further.

He pushed himself to his limits and became faster than Katsuki.

Then, they reached the finish line. Izuku Midoriya: 3.58 seconds. Katsuki Bakugo: 4.03 seconds. Aizawa noted.

Next trial is the grip strength test. Izuku thought of using One for All this time. He can't use 100 percent because it will break his bones. The only thing now is that he'll use 5 percent which is the normal percent that he can handle. Izuku did the grip strength test. From 40 KGW to 187 KGW. He was quite happy with the result. He thought of going for 10 percent next time.

Trial 3, the standing long jump. Izuku thought of using 5 percent of One for All. He didn't master any other percentages other than 5 percent. He used this in his legs.

Activate the power Izuku thought as he started to activate All for One. Use it on your legs Izuku thought as he was getting ready for the jump. On your foot Izuku was about to jump. Then, release! Izuku jumped as far as he can go. It was quite far compared to his middle school record.

Trial 4, sustained sideways jumps. Although Izuku is a smart guy, he thought of not using One for All. He rested his eye wear and concentrated. You can do this... just remember your training. He told himself.

He didn't excel at that part, but he still got 4 more chances to improve.

Izuku started to cough silently. Katsuki didn't notice this nor did anyone else. Crap... my pills are at the classroom. I need to take them now. Izuku thought.

Next trial is the pitched. Izuku tried to use 5 percent, again, on this exam. He pitched the ball but it reached unto 46 meters. How?! I used 5 percent! It should be higher. Izuku coughed.

"Stop there, go to the classroom and take one student to assist you. When you come back, do it again." Aizawa instructed Izuku.

The teacher noticed that there was a slight trace of blood on Izuku's cheek, on his shirt, and on his hands. Izuku signaled Katsuki and they went to their classroom. Before Izuku left, he asked Aizawa. "By any chance, -*cough*- are you the Erasing Hero: Eraserhead?" Izuku asked and Aizawa nods.

Izuku then left his classmates. "Let's go Deku." Katsuki said as he grabbed Izuku. "Aizawa-sensei, what gives? Why did you excuse those boys?" One student asked. He was blond with a black lightning mark on his hair. "If you know his medical condition then you would know why I did that to him." Aizawa replied. "Wait, isn't he blind? Why can he see then?!" One girl asked. She had horns on her and a pink skin and hair. "He invented a gadget that allows him to see and record voices. I think he updated it so that he can record vidoes too." Aizawa answered again. "If blindness is just his disability, why did he passed the entrance exam?" A boy with black hair and weird elbows asked the teacher. "He had good use of his quirks-sorry, quirk. And, he scored number 1 on both practical and written test." He answered again. "Why did you still allow them to be excused?"
"Still, what kind of condition does he really have?"
"Wait, you said quirks then changed it. Does he really have 2 quirks?!"
"Answer us Aizawa-sensei!"

The students showered him with questions. Aizawa got irritated. "Just hurry up and finish the test. You'll end up being expelled if you didn't." Aizaws threatened his students. The students did the test with no one asking Aizawa about Izuku.

Back to Izuku, he drank his pill and went back to his class again. For Katsuki, this was his time to use his phone freely.

When they reached the class with Aizawa, Izuku and Katsuki continued on their tests. Little did they know, All Might was watching them from a corner. Young Midoriya, I'm sorry I didn't inform you about Aizawa. I wish I did. Good luck young Midoriya and Bakugo. He thought.

"Now, let's get going. Bakugo, since you have tried this test before, it's Izuku's turn now." He said while giving the ball to Izuku. "I can do this. Use only 5 percent Izuku." Izuku motivated himself.

He threw the ball but only this time, he used 100 percent on his fingertips and 5 percent on his arms, causing him damage on his fingers.

Aizawa was shocked, so did the rest of his classmates. Aizawa noted his distance and showed it to the class. He didn't just pitch normaly with his quirk! He pitched with power on his arms and then concentrated his full power at his finger! This kid is very brilliant. No wonder he passed both support and hero! Aizawa thought. "1,023.07 meters?!" The whole class was shocked, even All Might! My boy, I never expected that to happen! That was superb!!! All Might thought.

The final trial came soon. Izuku became terrified. "The only thing I had succeeded to have a high score is at the pitch. Other that that, I had a pretty average one. If I were to be expelled, what will Toshinori-sensei tell me?! I should not be expelled. I did my best at every part of the trial. My aim is to be the top 1 hero out there, so I must score a high score here in the-" Izuku mumbled. "Stop that! Your scaring me!!!" One of Izuku's classmates yelled. He was short and had purple balls on his head.

There, Izuku noticed that everybody, including Toshinori and Aizawa, stared at him. "Excuse Deku. He's just some weird fuck that likes to do that all the time." Katsuki told them.

With the awkwardness gone, Aizawa announced their grades. "Oh, and by the way, the thing about expelling the lowest was a lie. It was a logical ruse to get you to do your best." There, Aizawa showed the rankings. Woahhh. I got fourth place and Kacchan got third?! That's amazing! Izuku thought.

"Your curriculum sheets are at the classroom, so give them a once-over. And Midoriya, prepare for your next class. It's alnost noon. Also, you'll be swithing schedules starting tomorrow. Your afternoon will be at the Hero course." Aizawa told Izuku. Izuku nods.

Most of his classmates were wondering what Izuku will be doing. They murmured and rumors spread about him more quickly.
