Chapter 45: Internships!

"I'm going with Mt. Lady!" Mineta exclaimed. "Mineta-chan's having dirty thoughts." Tsuyu told her classmates. "N-no, I-i'm not!" Yelled Mineta. This was heard by Midoriya who was passing by 1-A.

Izuku was greeted by his classmates when he came back. "Are you feeling better now?" Hatsume asked him as he entered the door. "Uhm... yeah. Thank you for helping me by the way." Izuku smiled. "No problemo! Also, Maijima-sensei wants to talk to you. He's at the faculty right now. I'll guide you so that your vision aid can rest." Hatsume pulled Izuku to the faculty.

Izuku let out a sigh. Well, at least she's helpful. He thought.

Once they reached the faculty, Hatsume knocked at the door. "Is Maijima-sensei here? We'd like to talk to him." She asked, well... more like yelled. "Hi Hatsume." Maijima went to them. "Did you bring Midoriya?" He asked. "Yupp! He's right here." Hatsume pushed Midoriya in the faculty.

"Midoriya, I know you study at both 1-A and 1-H but the Department of Heroics is having an important activity that you cannot skip. I'm granting you to skip Support class but in exchange, do your best in your activity. I've talked to the principal about this and he aproved. But, when Hatsume gave you some activities, make sure you'll get a perfect." Maijima informed Izuku. "R-rea-*cough*-really?" Izuku smiled. Hatsume also smiled. "O-oh right, I gotta h-hu-*cough*-hurry now! Come Hatsume!" Izuku chirped. Hatsume smiled, grabbed Izuku's hands and rushed to 1-A.

When they arrived to 1-A, Hatsume knocked the door. "Midoriya is here. Maijima-sensei told him that he can spend all his day at 1-A." And Hatsume pushed Izuku in. "Bye Miidoriya!" Hatsume waved goodbye and left. "Just in time Midoriya! We were talking about the hero agencies we're gonna join." Kirishima greeted him in.

Izuku sat and joined in their conversation. "It's ashame that Ashido didn't have any nomination. She really put on a great performance out there." Ojiro sighed. "Sure did!" Ashido commented.

Uraraka went up to Izuku. "Have you picked one?" She asked. "I'll start by reaserching their specialties and organizing them by similar types. Then, I'll arrange those by the number of incidents resolved from their debut to the present. After that, I need to come up with a numerical ranking of those people weighted by the relative value of their skills to my current needs. A valuable experience like this doesn't come up often, I'll have to choose carefuly. I should also come up with something to do while there are no incidents. Man... I'm gonna be really busy..." Izuku muttered. "Man, he just came back to the hospital and he's already like that..." His classmates sighed.

"Your field work would be 1 week long. All of these are good workplaces. But, those nominations would have a personalized list. Pick one. For those that don't, pick from the 40 participating workplaces from across the country. Their areas of operation and expertise all vary. So, think carefully before picking." Aizawa told his students.

"I wanna focus on urban counter-villainism!" Kirishima smiled. "I think something flood-related would be nice. Do they have those?" Tsuyu said as she scan the paper.

"Turn them on by the end of the week. It was all delayed because of the Christmas break and because of the emergency. You've got 4 days to return them. Think wisely." Aizawa told 1-A.

Todoroki glared at his paper. Endeavour Hero Office. He thought.

"Battle Hero Gunhead Office? Why that? That's a hardened battle group. Did they nominated you?" Izuku asked Uraraka. "Yup! They nominated me!" Uraraka chirped. "I mean, at the USJ, you told me that you wanted to be with Thirteen-sensei." Izuku was confused. "Well, that's my end goal. But, during my battle with Bakugo-kun the other day, it hit me. How many possiblies would open there be if I was stronger? I mean, if I stay at my comfort zone, my abilities were to be limited." Uraraka formed a fist and punched the air. "Hya!" She smiled. "I see... well... now that you pointed it, it would be useful if you learned more physical attacks." Izuku told her.
