Chapter 31: Hitoshi Shinso

"Oh, Midoriya, the last thing is that I-" Todoroki stopped. Come on Shoto... tell him already. You have waited for this moment for so long... tell him! "I-uhm..."

Todoroki went closer to Izuku. "I-" Tell him... "Midoriya..." Todoroki went closer to him. He gently grabbed his jaw. He slightly tilted his head. No Shoto! Don't make that move yet! It's to early! Tell him first your feelings! "Midoriya, I love y-"

"Deku, let's eat together." Katsuki grabbed Izuku by his hand. Shit, that was too close... Katsuki thought. "Oh, heya Kacchan! I was about to go to you but Todoroki wants to talk about something." Izuku smiled.

Darn... if it wasn't for him... I should have had Midoriya... Todoroki thought as he went to Lunch Rush to grab his lunch.

Izuku and Katsuki ate lunch together, as usual. After that, they went inside the stadium. "FOR THOSE WHO GOT STUCK ON THE FIRST CHALLENGE, WE WILL HAVE A RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY. THIS IS A SPORTS FESTIVAL AFTER ALL. WE EVEN GOT OURSELVES SOME CHEER DANCER FROM AMERICA! BUT, WHAT IS CLASS A DOING?!" Present Mic was wondering why the girls from 1-A are in cheer dance uniform.

"Mineta, Kaminari, you tricked us!" Jirou yelled. "How did I fall into one of their plans again?" Yaoyorozu sighed. "Those idiots. You made Yaoyorozu use her quirk just for this!" Jirou said as she threw the pom poms away. "Why not enjoy it? This could be fun!" Hagakure chirped. "Your really enjoying this Hagakure?" Everyone sighed.

"HOPE EVERYONE IS ENJOYING THIS RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY. AFTER THIS, WE'LL HEAD ON TO THE NEXT ROUND WHICH IS ONE-ON-ONE BATTLES!" Present Mic announced. "We'll pick by lottery. Once it's over, you can have some fun or do anything." Midnight smiled.

"Excuse me, I would like to drop out." Ojiro said. "Huh, why is that?" Everybody questioned him. "Well, it's because I don't remember anything from the cavalry battle. In this round, everybody used their strengths to get here. And yet, I don't even remember a single thing." Ojiro finished. "And why are the girls dressed like that?" Ojiro sighed.

"I would like to withdraw too. I can't remember anything at all." Another commented. Izuku remembered them having the same group in the cavalry battle.

"So manly!" Izuku heard Kirishima comment.

"So naive and green, I like it!" Midnight smiled. "Shoda and Ojiro had been officialy withdrawn. We shall take 2 members from Kendo's group, which took fifth."

"If it should be like that, I'd like Tetsutetsu's group to win for us. We were practically immobilized the whole round and they give it their all. I would like Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki to replace the 2 members." One girl spoke up. She must be Kendo... Izuku thought.

"Y-you guys..." A man started to cry. And this guy must be Tetsutetsu...

"So be it! Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki bring us back to 16 competitors." Midnight announced.

The 16 competitors drew lots.

First pair: Midoriya and Shinso
Second pair: Kirishima and Tetsutetsu
Third pair: Todoroki and Sero
Fourth pair: Shiozaki and Kaminari
Fifth pair: Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu
Sixth pair: Ashido and Aoyama
Seventh pair: Iida and Hatsume
Eighth pair: Bakugo and Uraraka

The screen flashed the results of the lottery.

"Izuku Midoriya, am I right?" A man asked Izuku. "Uhm-" Ojiro's tail covered Izuku's mouth. "Midoriya, don't answer that guy." Ojiro told Izuku.

Izuku remembered Shinso being one of the man who complained about 1-A before.

"Uraraka? Who the fuck is that?" Katsuki asked. Uraraka heard this and was surprised.

"Hey, your Iida right?" Hatsume asked Iida. "Yes. And you must be Hatsume." He replied.

"NOW, LET'S SET ASIDE THE TOURNAMENT FOR THE TIME BEING... AND GET ON WITH THE THRILL-A-MINUTE FESTIVITIES!" Present Mic announced.

Some students joined in but some did not. Tokoyami rested. Iida practiced. Todoroki thought of ideas to beat his rivals.

Everyone was dealing with their free time differently. Ojiro warned Izuku about Shinso's quirk.

Then, the tournament continued. Cementoss formed the battle ground for the tournament. "THANKS CEMENTOSS! NOW, YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH HELL TO GET HERE. LET'S HEAD ON THE THE ONE-ON-ONE BATTLES!" Present Mic announced.

Izuku met up with Toshinori. "Hey! Your now getting used to using One for All." Toshinori smiled. "Heh, not really. I can only use 5 percent and only that. I cannot control any other percentages." Izuku replied.

"Hmm, how about using 10 percent this time? If you can control this, that means your really improving." Toshinori tried to cheer him up.

"But really, I just got lucky in the past tournaments. I never really-" Toshinori used his hand to hit Izuku. "That is because you always put your heart and mind to it my dear prince of non-sense! Listen, whenever you feel scared or worried, that is the best time for you to put a smile on your face. You have come this far. You need to show a smile even if it's fake!" Toshinori transformed into his muscle form.

"THE FIRST MATCH, IZUKU MIDORIYA FROM THE HERO AND SUPPORT COURSE AND HITOSHI SHINSO FROM GENERAL STUDIES!" Present Mic yelled.

Izuku turned on his invention. "RULES ARE SIMPLE, IF YOU GET YOUR OPPONENT TO BE KNOCKED OUT THE RING, IMMOBILIZE THEM, OR GETTING THEM TO SAY 'I GIVE UP', YOU WILL WIN! BRING THE PAIN. WE'VE GOT RECOVERY GIRL ON OUR SIDE. BUT, IF YOU TRY TO KILL YOUR OPPONENT, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. READY? START!" Present Mic yelled.

Shinso talked to Izuku. He first pointed out to Izuku that all Ojiro want is his pride. Next, he called Ojiro a monkey. Then, he calls Ojiro a dumbass for throwing away his chance of winning. This got Izuku mad. "WHAT DID YOU SA-" Izuku was paralized.

"It's my win..." Shinso smirked. "Damn it Midoriya! I warned you about him!" Ojiro panicked. He moved his tail up and down.

"Like I said, the entrance exam doesn't matter." Aizawa reminded them. "True, Shinso failed at the practical because his quirk isn't suited for that. But, his quirk is truely amazing." Aizawa smiled.

"Now, turn around and walk out of the ring." Shinso instructed Izuku. And, Izuku obeyed him, without hesitations.

Ok, I know what your thinking but this is all part of my plan, don't worry. Izuku will still battle Todoroki but I want the whole bnha world to know that despite Izuku's difficulties, he is still striving to be at the top.
