Whilst driving into town, I was thinking how Laura's family is so much more different than people think it is. Her parents aren't who you'd expect. I look around the area, it was Cali Avenue Streets.

"Ross, what did you think of my parents. And, please don't hold back" I take a minute to think, I wasn't going to lie to Laura either, she & I respect each other.

"Honestly, I really did like them. They are very protective. I mean, all they wanted to know is that their daughter is in safe hands. I respect them for that" Laura nods slightly, a wee smile appeared on her beautiful face.

When we got to the mall, we had to park the car of course, but of course. To respect Laura's decision, we parked rather far away so no-one would see her car. I can understand why she doesn't want to see it.

I walk side-by-side with Laura, a part of me wants to take Laura's hand. But other parts of me doesn't. I smile just at the fact I am even here with her. A few metres away from the movie's place, I check my pockets for my wallet... oh shit.

"Laura, I can't come. I forgot my wallet" She simple smiles, grabs my arm and continues to walk on. I am slightly confused.

"Come on Ross, don't be silly. I was planning on getting you in any way, you have no need to pay yourself in. My treat" I smile, she is so kind, and yet, she is so silent in school. In a way, I see this as a blessing, because it means all this kindness is getting directed at me and only me. Is that selfish?

"Thanks, Laura, I appreciate it" She nods as we walk through a set of double doors. Inside the building was all read, major amount of gold detailing everywhere. It was amazing, beautiful inside. Like a picture you'd find on Instagram with over 200,000 likes or more.

"Anything you like?" She isn't looking in my direction, my brain instantly know what the answer is, but my eyes aren't looking at the movies. I come to realise, I'm not going to be like that with Laura. So, I turn my attention away from her and stare ahead at the movies. There's a bunch of chick flicks, but then one movie does catch my eye.

"You ever seen How To Train Your Dragon?" She nods vigorously, and smiles huge.

"Of course, who hasn't. I know why your asking, so let's go?" Wow, okay. Guess we're seeing HTTYD today.

She grabs ahold of my hand, and pulls me towards the ticket booth. Ordering 2 VIP tickets for this movie and then swooshing me towards the snacking area to grab popcorn, salted of course.

"Hot dog?" I smile big this time and nod. She complies and gets 2 of them, we end up needing a tray by the time she is done.

We walk down a hallway, towards to massive double doors, and rather than turning left, into the cinema room, we take a set of stairs to above the main room into a VIP room. Lovely big red velvet chairs, recliners too. A big table in-between them for the tray. I look at the screen in front of us, and we are almost front and centre.

I think the bonus for me, we have sound boosters in this room, which means it'll sound like we are in the room with the other viewers. Perfect sound.

Laura takes a seat, placing the tray down, I follow as I see the movie is starting.

Here we go, How To Train Your Dragon.

Bring it on.
