Walking out the VIP room, I am feeling emotional. It was such a brilliant movie, but sad too.

I look at the time and it's almost dinner time. My mum will be expecting me back home by now. I send her a quick text.

'Mom, are you wanting me home for dinner?'

Whilst waiting for her reply, Laura & I head back to her car. It was almost dark out, but the sky was clear, no birds, no rain... Although, I kinda wish there was rain. It'd be amazing.

But tonight just isn't the night for it.

"So, do you want to come back to mines for dinner?" Laura asks me, starting to walk backwards.

"Not sure, will need to check in with my mum first" She nods understanding, and just as I say that, Mom replies.

'Where have you been?' I simply reply back.

'With a new friend, who has just invited me back to hers for dinner' I smile at the fact I know my mom will catch on immediately.

'Nah, your fine son. At least I know your safe. See you whenever and go get em' tiger' I chuckle lightly from her response.

"I'm good for yours for dinner" I see Laura smile and blush? Slightly.

"Great, I'm super glad" We hastily move towards her car because again, she doesn't want anyone to notice.

Getting into Laura's car, she vastly reverses and gets out of the parking lot and onto the main road to head back home. She puts some music on and we sing along.

~~~~~~
We walk through the main door of the house and walk into the living room.
"Guys, Ross is staying for dinner" They don't even question her, they simple nod and continue looking on their phone or magazine.
"You wanna head up to the music room until dinner is ready?" I nod, the one massive thing me and Laura have in common if you haven't already noticed. Is music.
Running up the stairs and heading to the music room, we shut the door for some privacy and sit down to get to work.
"So, can I ask a question?" She nods.
"Have you ever released anything from within your parents label?" She looks stunned by the question, I might have hit a nerve.
"To be honest, I wanted to be labeled by my parents, but it would be a huge conflict of interest. Also, if I was bad, but because they're my parents and they released a song of mines anyway, it'd be bad publicity for them. Can't do it" I acknowledge what she means.
"Do you have any songs you'd want to be released?" She nods leaving the bench where we are at the piano and walks over to the book shelve.
"These books are all filled with songs I'd have loved to be released and listened to by the world" I quickly get up to stand beside her.
"Why not record a video of you singing them and post it on YouTube, do you have any idea how much stars these days are being founded by that website, I heard this young boy called Austin Moon posted a video, and the next day, he was found and in TV for it. A few weeks later he got signed onto a label. It is possibly if you believe, and Laura?" I place a hand on her shoulder. She looks at me.
"I believe in you" She smiles at me and looks back at her books.
"I deeply appreciate that, but there's huge problem" I pause waiting for her to answer.
"These songs were written by me when I was like 10...." I stopped, that is a problem.
"Rightttttt, do you have any recently written songs in that case?" She nods and shakes her at the same time.
"Yes and no, there's a few. But there is also one I am writing, that is immensely personal and I haven't finished it yet. I've been working on it for like almost 2 years. I've written other songs through the whole process of this one" I smile at her words, she seems so dedicated.
"DINNER" We're broken out of this trance we were both in from speaking about Laura's song books when we were being shouted down for dinner. We leave the room, closing the door behind us for the time being as we head downstairs.
