Felix thrashed against the men but they were physically built stronger than him by too much. He didn't stand a chance.

When he saw Chan standing at the top of the stairs with that man's arm holding him tightly back from the stairs, he could feel his hope for a normal life being destroyed completely.

Forcefully pulled away from each other, Felix could feel like his anchor was broken off. It was still there but he was leaving it in the middle of a storm, a very dangerous storm, and drifting off into nothingness.

When they reached the street, Felix was thrown into the back of an ambulance-like truck, catching a glance of the lettering on the side.

Pure panic flashed through his system as he found himself suddenly shaking.

"Not another one," he whispered, his voice getting louder as the men went to close the door, "Please! I can't go back to another place like this! I'm fine now! I swear!"

But it was as if the men were machines, their faces remaining indifferent and cold to his pleas as the doors were slammed against the metal of the truck and locked.

It was dark inside and Felix could feel his heart race faster while his breath stagnated and his head hurt.

The panic was beginning to properly set in with the adrenaline and heighten every sense in his body.

Tears rolled against his cheeks and every moment he could hear himself crying, his heart screamed at him to get up and break out to hold onto Chan one more time.

They'd gotten into a small debate Felix lost.

He was worried about calling his parents, who were calling to check up on his condition. Chan had tried to convince him that it would be better if he just called them and got it over with, but Felix felt like Chan didn't understand at all.

Of course, Chan was right and because Felix was bitter, Chan ended up sleeping in the living room.

"You thought he cared about you, right?"

Felix's head snapped around in a panic but he quickly started to count his breaths to calm himself down.

It was inevitable he was going somewhere that he wouldn't be able to get out of in his current state. And if he started to panic, it would be much harder to get out of here.

"Shut up, Purge. I won't listen to you," he muttered under his breath and pulled his legs up as he moved to the corner of the small padded box away from the doors for his protection.

This had happened once before to him, where he was taken away from his parents when one of the neighbors had heard from their kid that Felix was afraid to go to their house because there was a rabid dog lived under the porch.

He had been in the mental institution for three years of his life before they let him go. All in all, that hellish place was where he saw the most terrifying images.

He could remember when he was left alone that there would be a dead man who would be hanging from the ceiling, waiting for Felix to move so he could drop down and crawl up to him with backs bent and arms twisted.

The bodies would run to the poor child and rip him limb from limb until he was screaming in the corner and the doctors had to sedate him.

There would be people he didn't remember being there stare at him with lifeless, evil eyes and when he was sent home, the rabid dog was suddenly a comfort.
