Song of the Chapter: "Someone's Someone" by MONSTA X

Minho and Changbin looked at Chan like he had grown a second, third, fourth, maybe even a fifth head on his shoulders. He had been staring at the boy for the entire lecture and he must be damn insane.
Felix was considered untouchable in the university.
No bad boy aura protected him but Felix was always...better than everyone else in almost every way.
He refused to flaunt it, he refused to acknowledge anything anyone ever tried to give him as praise for his accomplishments, but Felix was good at everything anyone asked him to do.
For a while, new students would think that it was pure arrogance, that Felix knew he was doing so well he didn't care for trivial things other people worked so hard for. But the assumption would always be shattered at the first music festival the university held.
Felix put so much heart and soul into his singing and playing guitar he inadvertently revealed just how pure and innocent he was to the world.
Arrogance was a cruel word to use in Felix's presence and since most students couldn't avoid bringing up his accomplishments along with his lack of pride for them, they avoided him entirely.
To be fair though, Chan had yet to know. He was new to this school and Minho did admit later to Seungmin he should've filled Chan in earlier on Felix, especially since they knew he was already going to be in their class.
When the bell rang, for the end of the lecture, Felix happily slid his notebooks and papers into his backpack and stood up to leave. Chan's trance was finally broken and his eyes were thrown down to the blank notebook he had no lecture notes written down on.
He looked at his friends, who were giving him ludicrous looks, and closed the notebook to slide it into the backpack as well.
"Did you see him?" he whispered, "The...the most beautiful person you've ever seen?"
Chan looked like he was high; his eyes glazed over in an obviously wandering mind.
"The guy that sits in the front row? With the reddish hair?" Jisung asked, straightening his clothes and turning to see Felix leaving the room with his natural aura swirling around him like a warm blanket.
Chan nodded.
"That would be Lee Felix."
Chan smiled to himself, repeating the name silent on his lips once before leaving.

Felix could never understand why his fellow students didn't want to talk to him. His nightmares and dreams talked to him plenty.
Most of the time, he wanted them to stop talking.
They told him things he didn't want to hear, some often inappropriate at the time. He would blush and then desperately bury his head in his hood or his arms in an attempt to pass himself off as normal.
He sat alone in all of his classes, he wanted to do nothing more than focus. He could sometimes feel the eyes burning into his back if he wasn't preoccupied with an overflowing dream from the night before, so it wasn't like they didn't know he existed.
He wanted to have time to meet people but he couldn't, his classes barely allowed him air to breathe with the homework they collectively gave.
He wanted to know what they saw, what their dreams were like. He wanted to know if they saw rabid dogs and cuddly seasons or if it was more torturous for him.
