taehyung's pov

a few months later

"baby, i found him!" i let out the breath i was holding. the panic within me seeping away as i heard those words.

i let go of the boxes i was holding and ran in the direction of the voice.

jungkook stood in the bathroom, holding my source of happiness, well besides himself.

"thank god! i thought i had lost him!" i squealed as i snatched my stuffed animal from his hands.

it was kookie.

jungkook chuckled as he stared at me with adoration in his eyes. i blushed lightly as i held kookie close to my chest.

we were currently unpacking our things into our dorm. we somehow managed to get lucky enough to be roommates, which was the one thing i was ecstatic about.

the moving process was far too stressful.

"w-what?" i asked, slightly self conscious under his intense gaze.

"nothing you just look so cute baby." he smiled as he walked over and squished my body against his. i whined childishly as he planted a wet kiss on my cheek.

"my baby only." he teased some more as he rocked me back and forth.

i pouted my lips lightly at his words, encouraging him to kiss me. he laughed quietly before he pressed his lips against mine softly.

"as much as i hate to ruin the moment, jimin and yoongi are probably losing their minds downstairs." jungkook chuckled.

i giggled loudly as i recalled how our friends had kindly offered to help us move in.

it had turned out that the boy that i saw with jimin a few months back was in-fact named yoongi.

it was a few weeks after i got back with jungkook that jimin began talking to me again. he introduced me to his boyfriend, the pale boy with mint colored hair.

jungkook and i linked our hands before we stepped out into the hallway, seeing all the other students moving into their dorms, it was hectic.

we stepped outside of the building, seeing jimin and yoongi leaning against the trunk of the car, cooling themselves down with jimin's folding fan.

he fanned it quickly in-front of yoongi's face as the latter leaned in with his eyes closed.

"there you guys are! it's so freaking hot out here, jesus christ!" jimin complained.

"sorry, i thought i lost kookie for a second!" i pouted.

"okay well let's hurry and unload these last boxes. hoseok keeps texting me, in all caps, complaining about how he is third wheeling with namjoon and jin." yoongi rolled his eyes as he looked at his phone.

i giggled softly, looking up at jungkook to see him already staring at me, his face scrunching up lightly as he smiled at me.

"you guys don't know how lucky you are to be roommates." jin huffed, clearly jealous.

we were all sat at a diner near our college, listening to jin complain about how he has to share a dorm with a stranger.

"believe me, i know how lucky i am." jungkook smirked as he looked at me.

i shrunk lightly in my seat, feeling embarrassed at his words.

"oh come on tae! don't act all innocent! you were the one telling me about how much you love jungkook's-" i quickly slapped my hand over jimin's mouth as i blushed furiously.

"s-stop!" i shrieked as everyone laughed.

i felt jungkook's hand on my thigh as he squeezed gently.

"it's okay baby. you can show me how much you love me later." he teased.

"jungkook!" i whined, feeling embarrassed about the conversation.

"how sad is it that i can't relate to any of this shit." hoseok huffed as he took a bite out of his burger.

"aw it's okay hobi! you'll find someone soon!" jimin slapped hoseok's back lightly.

"i don't get it. i mean, im smart, funny, handsome-" hoseok rambled as he rested his chin on his knuckles.

yoongi groaned, cutting hoseok off, "oh god, please not again. namjoon, do something."

we all turned to see namjoon mid-bite, stuffing his burger in his mouth.

he froze when he saw all our eyes on him before he slowly spoke with a mouthful, "what?"

jin's windshield laugh was heard first before the rest of us joined in.

as i looked around at my friends, one by one recalling how just a few months ago all of us were strangers. never would i have guessed that we would all be sitting here together, laughing and enjoying each other's presence.

i turned to my amazing boyfriend who quickly looked at me, searching my eyes for any discomfort.

i simply smiled, and that was enough.

it's so hard letting go of this book. i just want to keep writing forever😭

holy shit. i can't. im so emotionally right now. my heart is so full of love for every single one of you guys who stayed throughout this entire journey.

watching the characters in their happiest times to their saddest and simply being there to support them.

this book quickly gained so much reads in such little time and i can't begin to comprehend how it happened.
