Archie POV
After Ronnie left to go to work at the speakeasy, Kevin came and I told him I could not stay in Riverdale any longer. I was putting everyone in trouble and most importantly I was putting the love of my life in trouble. So Kevin took me to the bus station but before I could leave I need to tell Ronnie how much she means to me and that I love her.
I find a phone and dial Ronnie. She picks up after the first ring. She is always so ready for anything, she would be a great mother. Our children would be so cute. But before I can finish my thoughts I hear her.
V- Hello, who is this?
A- Hey Ronnie
V- Archiekins, how did you get a phone in the bunker?
A- I am not in the bunker
V- Then where are you
A-I am at a bus stop.
V- You are not leaving right?
I can hear her crying now. This is going to break me and her.
A- I can't stay in Riverdale any longer, I am putting everyone at risk and more importantly, I am putting you; the love of my life at risk.
V- Don't you dare make me say goodbye to you, Archie Andrews.
A- I love you so much Ronnie, I promise I will come back for you and we can start our lives together.
V- Well don't bother coming back
A- Ronnie
V- No Archibald if you really loved me you would stay and fight but no you are a coward and are running off. I should have picked Reggie he would at least stay and fight for me.
A- Ok Ronnie your right, go to Reggie, just know he will never love as I did actually nobody will ever love you as much as I loved you. You want to know what's even worse I will never be able to stop loving you.
V- Archie, please don't leave, but if have to I will wait for you.
A- Ronnie you don't have to wait, I don't want you to be miserable.
V- I won't because as soon as you come back I want you to make me an Andrews.
A- Promise when I get back we are going straight to a chapel and you are becoming mine.
V-I have always been yours.
A-I Love so much
V- I love you so much too
A- I have to go, babe
V- I am going to miss you so goddamn much.
A- Me too
V- Bye
A- Bye
After the call, I get onto the bus. Off to California, I go. I can't believe I am leaving the love of my life. But I will be back and she will be mine forever. Bye Riverdale, Bye Ronnie.
VERONICA POV
I can't believe he is gone, but he will be back. I fall to the ground and start crying. I am crying in the middle of my speakeasy all of a sudden I feel soft arms around me. It was my mom.
V-Mom, what are you doing here?
H- Archie called me and told me he was leaving and that he said that you might need some comfort.
I start crying harder. He really does care about me and I told him I would be better off with Reggie
V- Did he say anything else?
My mom started to smile.
H- He asked me to tell you every day that he loves you and he also told me that he would send letters to me as Monica Posh. The letters would be for you, of course, he just doesn't want your dad to get an idea where he is.
V- Thanks mom
H- He really loves you. You picked a good one.
V- I really did
After that my mom and I went to get something to eat at a cafe. I am really going to need some hobbies while I wait for the love of my life.
2 Years Later
VERONICA POV
It has been 2 years since I said goodbye to the love of my life and 6 months since I got his last letter. I am now in Los Angeles with Betty we both got into UCLA. We are setting up our apartment we share together. Betty thought Jughead would have come back by now but he did not he is still on the search for Archie.
I know Jughead will not find Archie unless he wants to be found, Archie has manage to hide from my Dads goons for 2 years. Betty and I decide we want to go get something to eat. We go to this cute restaurant on the beach.
After Dinner we decide to walk along the beach. As we are walking we see this huge man who is very strongly built he has some facial features of Archie. Then he turns around and smiles, its Archies Uncle Rick.
