Veronica shares some big news with Archie.
Archie is just getting home from the worst day of work ever. The only reason it was bad was because Veronica forgot it was his birthday and so did everyone else.
So when Archie sees Veronica on the couch watching tv it pisses him off even more causing him to slam the door shut. Which scares Veronica making her turn around.
V- Archie, thank god its you.
A- Yep.
V- What's wrong?
Veronica says getting up and walking over to him.
A- I am just tired.
V- Ok do you want me to help you with anything.
A- No I'm good. I'm just going to take a shower.
V- Ok.
Veronica try's to give him a hug but he does not hug her back. So once she releases him and he just walks away without saying anything.
This makes Veronica suspicious so she goes on Archie's phone and gasps when she sees a text message from Archie's assistant.
V- Omg I am the worst wife ever.
So she calls Betty.
B- Hey V what's up?
V- Did you remember it's Archie's birthday?
B- What? That's impossible I have celebrated every birthday with him since he was 2.
V- Look at your calendar.
B- Omg I feel horrible but at least he has you.
V- That's the thing I forgot too.
B- Oh no.
V- Yah.
B- Well use your surprise.
V- I don't think now is the best time.
B- Of course it's the best time he always wanted to be a Dad.
V- Ok.
B- Good luck and text me when your done.
V- Will do.
Veronica hangs up and heads up stairs to their bathroom and finds him sitting in the shower looking sad witch breaks her heart.
V- Hi baby.
A- Hi Ronnie do you need anything?
V- Yes, can you tell me if you will ever forgive me.
A- Forgive you for what?
V- Don't play stupid.
A- Don't worry Ronnie I can never stay mad at you.
V- Really. So you forgive me.
A- Yah.
He says getting out of the shower and passing her to grab a towel while she looks at his butt.
V- So we still have enough time to make some calls and go eat.
A- I'm good I think I'll just go to bed it's been a tough day.
V- Wait Archiekins.
A- Yah?
He turns around and looks at her.
V- You still seem sad.
A- I'm not I just want to be alone.
V- Well Archie you can't it's your birthday.
A- Well I've been alone all day so why start celebrating now.
He says and walks off and changes into some gym close and starts to head to the front door.
V- Archie where are you going?
A- To the gym.
V- Why?
A- Because the guys there remembered it was my birthday and want to do a quick birthday workout.
V- God Archie Why are you being so selfish.
A- Me being selfish, you literally forgot if was my birthday and are now trying to play it off as if it were my fault.
V- Well it is your doing that has me all stressed and unable to think.
A- Oh really how? Wait I know is it because I make you breakfast every morning or is it because when you are not feeling good I always come see you. So the fact that I am always there for you is stressful because you can't be there for me the one day of the year that is so supposed to be about me and when I need you the most.
Now Veronica is crying.
V- Your such an ass. I was just going tell you that I'm pregnant. God Archie sorry for stressing about your child and sorry for being such a burden for you.
Archie looked at her her shocked and couldn't even respond. This makes Veronica even more pissed and makes her walk upstairs to their room.
V- You can sleep on the couch birthday boy.
Archie fell to his knees and started to cry. Archie must have sat there for an hour because now the sun has set and he can hear someone walking up there steps to the door. Once they ring the door bell though he can't even get up to answer it. He feels to devastated.
After the third ring Veronica walks down the stairs and looks right at him sitting on the floor crying and not even looking at her. She starts to feel bad because she did this to him on his birthday and now Betty and Cheryl are going to kick his ass. Maybe she should tell them to leave but it's to late. They have unlocked the door and walk over to her and then they both see Archie on the floor.
C- What are You to big of a duché to only cry and not care about your wife and child.
B- That was uncalled for Cheryl you know it's birthday and also the same day his father died five years ago.
This causes Archie to get up and walk to his office and when Cheryl, Betty and Veronica try to apologize he doesn't even let them and slams the door.
V- I can't believe I forgot about everything.
C- It's ok.
V- No it's not he was crying for me and I was to selfish to think about all the pain that happens on this day.
B- I got this.
Betty walks into Archie's office and sits down in one of his chairs.
A- Are you here to tell me how bad of a father I'm going to be or here to rub it in my face that I can't even see the man that was always there for me on my birthday.
B- Archie....
But before Betty can finish Veronica runs in and hugs Archie.
V- It's ok baby.
He starts balling and hides his face in Veronica's chest.
V- I think I got this B.
B- Ok bye Arch and happy birthday.
Veronica holds Archie until he stops crying.
A- Im sorry for being such a mess.
At this Veronica grabs Archie's face and makes him look at her.
V- Don't be sorry Archie I know it's tough for you on this day but I promise I will make it up to you.
A- You already have.
He says holding her stomach in his hands.
