Veronica and Archie are not together but are going to Prom together and Archie is planning to change their relationship status.
As they walk through the Gym doors arm through arm everyone turns and stares at them. After everyone takea some time to appreciate how beautiful these two beings are and even better together, Archie leads her to the punch.
V- Archie, Why are we going to the punch first?
A- Because I know I am going to break a sweat on the dance floor with you so I am going to need to get hydrated.
Veronica smiles because it feels like the good old days when she and Archie were together and in love now she just thinks it's a one sided relationship.
Breaking Veronica out of her trance Archie wraps his arm around her waist.
A- Ready to go Ronnie.
V- Yes as long as you don't step on my toes again.
A- You know that was an accident no need to hold it over my head.
V- Yah but your heavy.
A- Are you calling me fat. Well I guess I am just going to have to carry you the whole time we dance.
Before Veronica can respond Archie picks her up and holds her close to his chest and starts swaying with her.
V- Fine Archie I didn't mean it.
A- Ok and?
V- I'm sorry.
A- Ok.
He places her softly on the ground. Once her feet touch the ground he wraps his arms around her and starts swaying with her. He can not help but smile down at her remember when they used to dance together.
V- Why are you smiling.
A- It's just nice to have you back again.
V- What does that mean. I have been with you since you got back.
A- Well I mean not distracted by other things just focused on each other like in the good old days when we were together.
V- Where is this coming from?
A- I just really missed being there for you and you being there for me.
V- Archie do you still love me?
A- That's a hard question to answer.
V- No it's not its a yes or no.
Archie stops holding her and looks her in the eyes showing her he is serious.
A- I think I can give you a better answer than just a yes or a no.
Veronica looks at him confused. Archie then kisses her cheek and walks onto the stage.
A- Hi everyone.

A- So it's been awhile since I have been up on stage singing and I decided that I would like to try singing again so here it goes.
Everyone cheers and Archie gets situated on stage, while Veronica has not once taken her eyes off of him even when Betty came and stood next to her.
Archie takes a deep breath and starts to play.

After Archie was done singing he looked at Veronica and spoke into the mic.
A- Does that answer your question Veronica lodge.
After he said that everyone stood up and gave him a standing ovation. Then he walks off to the backstage.
While Archie is backstage Veronica looks at Betty.
V- Did you know.
B- Did I know that Archie never stopped loving you or that he has been planning this for a month.
V- I love him too.
B- Well you should be telling him that.
With that realization Veronica runs backstage and into Archie's arms.
V- I love you too and I can't wait to start our future together because I will be with my Archiekins.
After that they kiss passionately and then stop when they hear they are just about to announce prom king and Queen.
So Archie and Veronica walked over to Betty and Jughead.
V- Who Do you think is going to win.
B- Cheryl and Toni.
J- No way!
A- Jarchie for life.
The boys chest bump and turn to the girls and find them laughing their asses off at them.
V- Jarchie? I prefer Varchie and Bughead.
B- Yah me too.
J- Whatever the women say is law.
A- Yes So they are right.
Veronica turns to Betty.
V- I am glad they know us so well.
B- Me too.
All their attention is brought to the stage where Cheryl will be announcing king and queen.
First they are announcing Queen.
C- Ok this years Riverdale Prom Queen is Miss Veronica Lodge.
Veronica is shocked but super happy but before she goes on stage she kisses Archie. Once on stage she is crowned and then the crown the king.
C- And the king is Mr. Archie Andrews.
Archie walks up onto stage and kisses Veronica and takes the crown from Cheryl and thanks her.
After all the pictures and congratulations Veronica and Archie started to dance.
A- Did this night turn out how you hoped it would be?
V- No it turned out better.
A-I love you.
V- I love you too and I can't wait to tell our children about how your music brought us back together and then how we won King and Queen.
A- You will always be my Queen.
