The promo for the next episode and what I think should happen.
Archie and Veronica just got to his house from his fight. Archie is supper soar but happy because Veronica is here with him. He feels like she is the only person he has left since Josie and him broke up.
Archie walks to the couch and lays down and Veronica goes and grabs some ice for him. Once he hears her coming back he sits up and makes room for her. She then sits down close to him and holds the ice pack to his ribs. Archie groans in pain but Veronica does not pull away because she knows he can take.
A- Thanks Ronnie.
V- Don't thank me Archie it's the least I can do. I mean I don't want you to be too hurt and plus how am I going to work on my doctor skills anywhere else.
A- I thought you wanted to be a fashion designer or a lawyer.
V- Well I do want to be those things but I also must be a doctor for when my future kids get hurt and the occasional Archie Andrews being a spaz.
They both laugh. They then stops and Archie turns the conversation into a serious one.
A- I am not to good at boxing.
V- Yah but you being your athletic self will become the best, just like wrestling.
A- I guess I can't stay with one sport.
V- Yah, what's next for Big Red.
A- I don't know maybe I will try cheerleading with you since Mr. Keller is not going to want to be in my corner if I keep loosing.
V- Sorry Archiekins but I don't think cheerleading is going to be your sport, but don't worry you will always have me in your corner.
A- Thanks Ronnie.
Veronica then stands up and so does Archie.
V- I have to go but I will see you tomorrow at your next match.
A- Thanks Ronnie.
V- Make sure to rest up. Doctors orders.
They hug and then Veronica leaves. This leaves Archie to his thoughts. Is there a chance that him and Veronica really have another chance together. He thinks about her mentioning about being a doctor for her kids and him. Could she be talking about their kids? With that Archie falls asleep thinking about Veronica and their future, he will do anything to have a future with her.
The next day at his match Tom shows up and starts warming up with Archie. They then take a break and Archie goes into his office and sits on the couch.
Veronica sees him go into his office and follows him. Once she gets in she finds him sitting there looking at a picture of his friend and him when he was younger.
V- Hey Archie are you ok?
A- Yah I'm Fine.
V- Don't lie to me mister. May I remind you that I know when your lying for example when you ate my ice cream and you said you didn't.
Archie try's to get up and get away but Veronica grabs him and sits on the couch with him.
V- Let's try this again whats wrong?
A- I am scared that I am going to let everyone down just like I did him.
Archie says point to the picture of him and his friend when they were younger.
V- Who is he?
Even after all the time Archie and Veronica spent together dating he never talked about the boy in the picture and she knew never to ask.
A- He was my best friend and one day I didn't go to school and he was beat up and after that he moved and I never saw him again. I lost my best friend who was always in my corner but I couldn't be in his.
V- Archie look at me that was not your fault. You are always in other people's corners and I hope you know that you have people in your corner too.
A- Who? I have let everyone down including you. I honestly don't know why you are being so nice to me when I was such a idiot and horrible boyfriend for leaving you when you needed me the most.
V- Archie don't you understand? You came back and then I wasn't in your corner and I lost you again. Even after I left your corner you were always in mine because you are an amazing person. I just want you to know I am in your corner from here on out.
A- Thanks Veronica, you should really get paid for these pep talks.
Archie says trying to lighten the mood.
V- Well you would be the only one paying me since I only give good advice to you.
A- Lucky me.
They were both leaning in just about to kiss but Tom walks in and they separate.
T- Hey kids the match is just about to start.
A- Ok.
Archie gets up and helps Veronica up.
V- We will talk after you win.
A- Thanks Ronnie.
They hug and then Archie goes out into the ring.
10 minutes later Archie kicked the guys ass but got beat up by the other guy too so now Archie is in a tub of ice trying to heal his bruises. He them hears the door open but doesn't turn around because he thinks it's Tom, but then he hears her voice.
V- I knew you would win.
Veronica goes and sits down on the edge of the tub. She then looks at his body and sees all the bruises and scars.
V- Didn't I tell you to take better care of yourself.
A- Sorry Ronnie I probably was zoning out.
On your beauty Archie says to himself.
V- Well next time listen because I give good advice.
A- Ronnie I think my words are going to your head.
The both smile and then Veronica looks at Archie with a serious look on her face.
V- So are we going to talk about what happened before the match.
A- Um yah, can I just get out of this really cold bath first?
V- Of course.
Archie try's to stand up but he is in a lot of pain and Veronica sees this and grabs his arm and helps him out.
A- Sorry Ronnie I am in so much pain.
Veronica does not realize until she done helping him get out of the tub that Archie is only in underwear. She can not help staring while Archie lays down on the bench and then Veronica starts caressing his cheek. He closes his eyes finding comfort in her smooth hand rubbing his scarred cheeked.
V- I don't want you to get mad at me for saying this but I would really love it if you stopped fighting.
Archie opens his eyes and looks at her and Veronica continues to rub his cheek.
A- Ronnie this is the only way I can express myself.
V- What about music?
A- I haven't been able to sing since before Juvie and plus I am not good at it.
V- Are you kidding me you are amazing at it.
A- You don't have to say that to make me feel better.
V- I am not. How do you think I got through you not being with me.
A- Reggie.
Veronica pinches his nipple.
A- Ow.
V- I got through it by listening to your music. I would fall asleep listening to you and wake up listening to you.
Archie just stares at her in shock.
V- Yah So you are pretty good. I mean I would know I have pretty good taste in everything. So now you are going to stop fighting and are going to turn this gym into your new music place.
A- That sounds good.
V- I am not done you are also going to stop talking about me dating Reggie, do I hold you and Josie dating over your head whenever I am mad.
A- No.
V- So stop doing it.
A- Ok.
Archie sits up and groans in pain. Veronica goes over to sit next to him and comfort him.
A- Ronnie can I ask you something?
V- Of course.
A- Does this mean we are dating again since you are helping me get my life back on track and also you acknowledging my existence again.
V- I don't know Archiekins. I can't go out with someone who doesn't ask me out.
Archie smile and stands up ignoring all the pain. He then picks Veronica up and hug her.
A- Veronica will you please go out with me again?
V- Of course Archiekins and FYI I did acknowledge your presence.
A- Oh really how come when I would smile at you would look the other way.
V- You really want to have this conversation now.
A- No I would way rather do this.
They then kiss.
Kevin then walks in and some how seeing Veronica and Archie back together brings the old Kevin back.
K- Omg Cheryl, Varchie is back together and cuter than ever.
