After the Family group hug the teams started to show up. Then come Jughead and Betty with Bennett who is Josh's age and Lisa who is six.
Betty and Jughead decided to stop after 2 kids because it was to much. Archie and Veronica loved having kids.
J- Hey Andrews Family
V- Hello Jones Clan
We all laugh. Then the kids run and play while the adults talk.
B- So have you two decided on any names yet for your daughter
V- Well Archie keeps suggesting bad ones so no
A- As you can see she is already mad at even before I start yelling at kids.
He says while wrapping his arm around Veronica. They all laugh.
V- Well you better not yell at kids or your sleeping on the couch.
J- Don't worry boss lady I watch him as if he were my child.
A- I am not a child.
B- Sorry Arch but you act like one.
A- When?
V- For example before everyone arrived you called our kids cheaters because they beat you and then you threw a fit.
Betty and Jughead start laughing.
A- Well since I am an adult coach, I will be help the kids get ready for the game.
He then left.
J- This is going to be great make sure to get it on film.
B- We will.
V- Please make sure he acts his age.
They all look at Archie and see him with the team they are all stretching and now he has them dancing.
J- It will be hard but I will do it for you.
V- Thanks
Jughead then leaves.
V- should we go find our other kids
B- We shall
They walk over to the playground. As soon as they get there Lisa runs up to us and hugs Betty.
V- Hi Lisa
L- Hi Auntie V
V- Where's Lucas
L- He's right there.
She says pointing to the little boy on Archie's back smiling as big as his Dad.
B- Ok girls should we sit down.
V- yes
The girls sit down with Lisa in Betty's lap. Archie is still hold Lucas while the team is huddled up 20 feet away from the girls.
A- Ok boys today I just want you to have fun.
J- And if you win we will go get Ice cream.
All the boys scream
A- Ready boys, on 3 we will cheer our team name.
J- 3
A- 2
L- 1
Boy- go Dragons
Archie, Lucas and Jughead walk to the side line.
B- That was so cute
V- Yah
L- Stop mom you're embarrassing me
Archie laughs and Veronica gets up and walks over to them.
L- Mom what are you doing.
Archie looks over at Veronica and smiles at her.
V- I am giving 2 of my 3 boys a good luck kiss.
Archie bends down so Veronica can kiss Lucas on the cheek. He then stands back up and gives Veronica a kiss on the lips.
V- Luke watch your dad and make sure he doesn't yell at anyone.
She says as she walks off.
As the game gets going Josh starts to become less nervous and starts to play like a stud just like his Dad. Josh then goes for the goal and makes it. Josh run over to Archie who no longer has Luke on his shoulders because he wants to sit with his mom. When Josh reaches Archie, Archie picks him up and throws him into the air and catches him. Then Archie gives him a hug.
J- Daddy did you see that.
A- Of course I did
J- I made it for you
A- I love you bud
J- I love you too dad.
Archie sets Josh down and he runs back onto the field. Archie has the biggest smile on his face because he is so proud of his son. Veronica has a huge smile on her face because she just witnessed the cutest interaction between her son and Husband. Lucas is super happy that his brother scored too.
Lucas ran and grabbed Archie's hand and asked his dad if next he could play and have Archie as his coach. Of course Archie said yes.
The game finished and Archie got by without yelling at any kids but did yell at one parent for screaming at his kid. Veronica has to stop him from pouncing on him but other than that Archie was a great coach.
The team went and got ice cream since they won.
At one table was the whole team with there ice creams. Archie and Jughead congratulated the boys and told them that next practice they will play with them and then all the boys got super excited.
After that Archie went back to the table with Betty, Lisa, Jughead, Luke, and Ronnie. There was not enough chairs so Archie lifted Luke up and had him sit on his lap. Betty got vanilla ice cream in a cup, Lisa got a pink ice cream, Jughead literally got every single flavor since Archie was paying. Veronica got a chocolate ice cream in a cone and Lucas got a big bowl of strawberry ice cream to share with his Dad.
B- What a great way to start the Saturday.
J- Yah I mean it's only 12:39
V- Yah and I have to thank you Jug for keeping Archie in check and for Archie staying in check.
They all look at Archie because he doesn't respond because he is talking to Lucas and Josh. Josh now sits on Archie's lap with Lucas and starts to eat some of the strawberry ice cream.
V- Hey bud are you done with your ice cream?
J- I didn't like it. So I gave it to Uncle Jug.
Jughead smiles and they all laugh.
B- Wow Veronica, you are not just outnumbered at home with gender but with food too because it looks like the boys like whatever Archie like.
J- I mean who in their right mind would order Strawberry ice cream unless they were related to Archie.
A- Well Jug I would hate to break it to you but your eating strawberry ice cream somewhere in the mess of ice cream.
Everyone starts to laugh.
V- Ok well we are going to start our walk home.
B- Bye
They all got up and started saying their goodbyes.
On the walk home Archie carries a sleeping Lucas on his shoulder and Holst Josh's hand while Veronica holds the Josh's other hand.
A- Hey bud I am so proud of you today, you were a great player not just with skill but with being respectful with everyone else.
J- Thanks Daddy, I just thought what you would do and did it.
V- That's so sweet, I wonder if you will be great in all the sports just like your Dad.
J- As long as he is my coach.
A- Ok bud but that might be hard because I might start yelling.
They all laugh.
V- What sports are you interested in
A- Before you answer I am just telling I would prefer if you don't play football, I don't want you to hurt yourself.
V- I agree with your Dad
J- Well I would really like to play beach volleyball and maybe do singing like you dad.
A- that sounds good you can start coming with me on the weekend to play beach volleyball with me and the boys.
J- That would be great.
V- So Josh do you not like soccer
J- I do like soccer but I don't want to play it forever.
A- ok
They walk into the house and Archie puts Lucas on the couch. They all sit around a sitting Lucas and start to watch Shrek. Archie could not be any happier knowing he has amazing sons, a amazing wife and soon a princess who he want to be everything like Veronica. Archie is so glad Veronica walked into pops that day, it had to be fate.
