Archie is planning on proposing to Veronica but they get interrupted by an unexpected guest and Archie gets mad about it.
Archie and Veronica are going the speakeasy early to make sure it is all set up for Betty's baby shower. They were just about to leave there house when Archie stopped them both. Archie wants Veronica to be super surprised when he proposes to her so he decides to do it now. He is just about to bend down on one knee but stops when he hears a knock on the door. He groans in frustration and Veronica gives him a weird look.
Veronica opens the door to find Reggie her ex boyfriend and Archie's ex friend. He smiles and hugs Veronica a little to long for Archie liking. He finally lets go and walks over to Archie and shakes his hand.
R- So I know I showed up here unannounced or uninvited but I really could use Veronica's help.
V- With What?
She says walking over to Archie because she can sense how uneasy he is right now.
A- Well we have somewhere to be and you interrupted something when you knocked on the door.
Veronica looks at Archie shocked because she thinks that Archie just wanted to get a quickie in before the party. She then whispers to Archie not to be rude.
R- Um it's kind of a private matter.
He says staring at Archie.
A- Oh I get it, I'll just, meet you there Veronica.
He says kissing her cheek.
V- Wait Archie I want to help you set up.
A- Don't worry Veronica I got it.
He says leaving. Veronica knows he is pissed since he called her Veronica and didn't want her to go with him.
Once Archie closes the door she looks at Reggie with no sympathy.
V- What do you want.
R- Watch it V-Lo no need to have an attitude.
V- Well yes there is because my love of my life is mad at me now because of you. Also if he does not set up our god daughters baby shower up correctly I am going to kick your ass and make sure he is the one getting up every night when we have kids.
R- Why was I not invited to the party and if we had kids I would already do that for you.
V- First of all I am never having kids with anyone else but Archie and secondly because you told Betty that Jughead slept with someone else for fun. Now tell me why you came here in the first place and how I ever dated you.
R- I came here to tell you that I am moving back to Riverdale and would like you to help me look for house and also you dated me because Andrews was not there for you when I was.
V- Why do you need my help looking for a house and also you were just a rebound.
R- Because you have good taste and will definitely be spending a lot of time there with me.
V- Ok we can talk tomorrow but I will only spend time there when Archie is there witch will be never.
R- Ok by Ronnie see you tomorrow.
He says as he kisses her cheek then leave.
Veronica arrives at the speak easy and is happy to see that decorations actually look good. She then looks around for her love to find him drinking a beer while watching the game in one of the booths. She walks over to him and sits on his lap.
V- You did good with the decorations.
A- Thanks.
V- So Why are you still mad at me.
A- I am not mad at you Veronica.
He says still not making eye contact with her and just focusing on the game.
V- Oh really because you have not looked at me once since I got here.
A- Well I was busy watching the game since I can't watch it when people get here.
V- Ok that's it mister you better tell me what's wrong or I am making you sleep on the couch tonight.
A- Oh so Reggie can sleep in bed with you.
