Be My Cloud? (EDITING)

Chapter One

"HOLY CRAP ASHLEY! I'VE BEEN STANDING IN THE RAIN FOR TEN MINUTES! WHERE WERE YOU?" I ask hopping into the back of Ashley's black convertible.

"Well since my parents don't want to donate money so I can buy a car, I have to share a car with my slow poke brother Jc who takes forever to drive," Ashley replies.

"At least you have a car. What movie are we seeing again?"

"Well I was wondering if you would watch it at my place and save a bit of money because I am pretty broke."

"Fine by me, I'm saving up for a car"

"Have fun with that."

The car ride home was pretty much silent since Ashley doesn't really like listening to music for some idiotic reason.

"Jeez Ash. Your house is like huge!" I gasp walking up to the darkish maroon front door.

"What? This is puny compared to the other houses in Cali," she replies, kind of acting a bit spoiled.

I stepped in and of course Jc was lying shirtless on the couch with a can of Arizona in his hands.

"Jc! Put some clothes on! Kate doesn't enjoy your nakedness" Ashley complains pushing him off the couch. "Sorry about him."

"Oh it's fine I'm used to it by now," I laugh as Jc slumps up the stairs to his room.

"Oh shoot I forgot we have no food because of Jc's food inhaling friends. You okay if I go get some? I'll be back in like fifteen minutes tops."

"That works as long as you bring me back Skittles, Pringles, and water. I'll pick out some movies to watch."

I waited for Ashley to leave and then I get up and walk over to her movie cabinet. God, this girl has a ton of Disney movies. I pick Finding Nemo because Squirt is a bomb character and turn around and walk back to the couch. All of a sudden I feel very large hands on my head and of course my first reaction is to slap the hands on my head.

"What the hell are you doing Jc?" I ask straightening up my hair

"Oh nothing," he replies giving me a small smirk.

God he's so cute, but I can't be with him even like him because I would feel Ashley's wrath big time. I decided to walk into the kitchens to get a bunch of paper plates and cups since Ashley and I share everything.

"So Kate. Want to do a challenge?" he asks grabbing my hand causing me to slap him, again.

"I take that as a no," he laughed clutching onto his stomach.

"I'm sorry. You just startled me, you jerk."

"I am not a jerk! At least I don't slap everyone that touches me."

"Whatever, but yeah I'll do a challenge with you."

Jc nods his head and begins to start rummaging through the cabinet for the challenge "supplies". Of course as I figured he pulled out a bag of marshmallows.

"Chubby bunny?" he asks ripping open the bag before I had the chance to reply.

"Whatever!" I reply grabbing a pile of marshmallows.

Jc started off pretty good and so did I but as soon as I stuck the last marshmallow into my mouth Jc puts his hands on my cheeks causing me to spit marshmallows all over his body.

"I win!" he yells standing up.

"You win? First of all you cheated and I'm winning with the fact that you are currently wearing my saliva covered marshmallows," I say looking at him.

"So what I still won!"

I burst into laughter as I watched Jc pull of a ton of gooey marshmallows. Since he was struggling, as he does with most things, I decided to help him a bit. I grabbed a towel and placed it under warm water. Since Jc had the big chunks of marshmallow off, it was easier to get off the goo with something very warm. As I rubbed it on his stomach I felt my cheeks turn red. Of course with Jc giggling I couldn't last longer so I stood up a shoved him but he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him so that I could describe his dark brown eyes in amazing detail.

"Kate, Jc what the hell is going on?" Ashley spazzed storming though the front door.

"Jc uh had um an eyelash in his eye?" I respond even though it sounds like a question.

I look at Ashley hopping she will believe me because I'm a really bad liar.

"Okay sorry about my spazzing I thought you were uh kissing, I'll be right back."

Jc and I both look at each other and start laughing. He grabs my phone off the table and types in his number. I reached into his hoodie that he somehow put on in less than fifteen seconds. Walking over to the couch I saw Jc jump over the back of the couch and motioning for me to sit down.

"Hey Kate. Can I talk to you for a quick minute?" Ashley asks startling me once again.

"Yeah sure. What's up?" I ask waking towards her.

"My best friend needs me over at her place right now. I'll be gone for like two hours. You can stay here if you want and have Jc drive you home."

"Sure that's fine."

I walk back into the living room and tell Jc what Ashley's doing. I realized that Jc couldn't drive me home since Ashley has the ONLY CAR. Deciding to make the vest of the night I got up and plopped the movie in and cuddle up next to Jc. Before I know I start falling asleep on his shoulder. I close my eyes and hear him say something.

"Goodnight beautiful," he kisses my forehead.

I look up at him and kiss him quickly. Then fall back asleep on his shoulder. Thank god Ashley left because she would've freaked. But I mean if you like someone you should be able to make a move. Right?
