I awoke the next day to the sound of my phone vibrating. It was Ashley. I unlocked my phone and saw I already had four missed texts from her.
hey.
kateeeeee wake up
Kate! hello?
Kate it's noon. wake up!
I giggled and responded to Ashley's message. I decided I should probably get up, so I threw on a pair of slippers and headed to the kitchen.
"SHES ALIVE!" Kian screamed causing me to giggle.
I walked directly to the fridge and pulled out watermelon. Then I headed over to the living room and plopped down next to Kian. We sat there in silence with the occasional splash coming from the back yard. I finished my watermelon and headed upstairs to my room. When I got up there I decided I should probably get ready for the day. So I headed to my closet and grabbed my stars and striped bikini with a blue muscle tee and black shorts. I then headed to the bathroom and cleaned my face. I then went downstairs and into the backyard, making sure I grabbed my phone.
"Kate!" Jc screamed hopping out of the pool.
"Hey Jc!" I replied setting my phone down.
"So Kate wanna go to the beach with us?"
"Sure! When are we leaving?"
"Five minutes!"
"Okay be right back!"
I headed back into my room and grabbed my phone charger case, towel, brush, and my makeup crap. I shoved it all into my light blue tote bag and ran back downstairs, where I saw everyone already in the car. I jumped in the back and pulled out my phone and went on my messaging app.
Hey Kate! I need to talk to you!
Okay Ash. meet me at the beach in five?
sure babe. see you there!
I locked my phone and looked over at Jc who was sitting next to me. I then leaned my head on his chest and shut my eyes. I could tell he was smiling so I looked up and quickly pecked his lips. I felt the car stop and saw we were at the beach. I screamed and jumped out heading towards the sand. I found a spot and laid my blanket on the sand. My phone vibrated and I saw it was a text from Ashley.
I see you!
I looked up and saw Ashely. I motioned for her to sit down.
"Kate?" she asked making me worried.
"Yeah?" I responded laying back on my towel.
"Are you still dating Jc?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Um well."
She pulled out her phone and showed me a picture. It was Jc with another girl. And they were kissing.......
