Taking the day off

The next morning Kajah awoke to Ram and Rem on the opposite sides of his bed.
Ram: hello good morning
Rem: Good morning hope you slept well.
Kajah: yes I did actually. Uhhh you two ok?
Ram: oh yes we are fine. We just wanted to get to you early before you got up and started your training with Subaru.
Kajah: eh? O-oh well you got me heh. What's up?
Ram: I need some things here and there you see. I was hoping you could get me some in town this morning.
Kajah: oh sure thing. What do you need?
Ram: Oh Rem has the list there. I was gonna ask her but, I figured you would be able to go get them with her.
Kajah: hm? If you all wanted me to get it it's fine hahah. I could use the nice walk this morning. Well I guess I better go. The list please Rem.
Rem: oh uhh.
Ram: I think you should go with someone.
Kajah: Huh? Why? I'm sure I can get the stuff on my own.
Ram: you might need help carrying some stuff back or even not get enough.
Kajah: hmmm yah...I guess ur right. I'll just get more if needed.
Ram: yah but...hey why not you and Rem go into town?
Kajah: hm? Oh I'm sure Rem is busy with chores and stuff.
Rem: n-no I don't mind. I'll gladly go with you.
Kajah: eh? oh? well ok then I'll get ready.
Rem: ok
Ram: (it's working)
Kajah gets cleaned and ready to head out to go into town for Ram.
Kajah: alright all set.
Rem: yes.
Kajah: we should be able to get back before the kids get up considering the sun isn't even up yet. This is extremely early you two.
Rem: sorry...
Kajah: oh it's fine I do this a lot at my grandmothers. Though I'm shocked you would want to go this early.
Ram: that's good then. You two ready to head out?
Kajah: yep. Well let's get going Rem.
Rem: r-right
Ram: you two better be careful.
Kajah: don't worry we will be.
Rem: we will be back.
Rem and Kajah leave together and head into town on foot.
Ram: (I hope this works out. You better not mess this up Kajah.)
Rem and Kajah start their way to the town, by now the sun is rising and the sky is a beautiful yellow orange and red.
Kajah: wow the sunrise is beautiful today huh.
Rem: yh-yah it is.
Kajah: I never really took the time to look at a sunrise.
Rem: they are very soothing to look at.
Kajah: oh I can see the town. Where's the list?
Rem: oh here
Rem hands Kajah the paper but, it's blank.
Kajah: uhhhhhhh
Rem: what?
Kajah: you know it's blank right?
Rem: eh? What?
Kajah: yah look.
Kajah hands Rem the blank paper and to Rems surprise it is blank.
Rem: I-I had no idea. I must have grabbed this by mistake. I'm so sorry. I can run back real quick and get it.
Kajah: no no it's ok we will just get what we think we need.
Rem: But...
Kajah: really it's ok. Besides I'm sure you remembered most of it.
Kajah smiles at Rem to reassure her it's ok.
She blushes a little at him.
Rem: o-ok
Kajah: now lets keep going. We gotta get back before the kids get worried like last time hahahah
Rem: yh-yah. Heheh
Rem and Kajah begin to look for supplies that they think they needed. At some point Rem and Kajah are holding hands and don't really notice it too much. Kajah forgot all about the reason why they were there in the first place because they ended up going around town seeing all the colorful sights and people this morning.
Kajah: hehe I'm having a great time honestly. How about you?
Rem: *smiles* yes I never really took the time to just look around and sight see the town.
Kajah: definitely worth the date...I-I mean.
Rem: d-date?!
Rem gets a little more red and happy at what Kajah said and locks arms with him.
Rem: I-I guess it is huh.
Kajah blushing to gets a little nervous.
Kajah: y-yah...heh it is k-kinda like one. Oh...I have to take you to this little shop my grandmother owns. It a little bakery and she makes all the sweets there.
Rem: oh? How come she didn't tell us before?
Kajah: it probably didn't even cross her mind given what all happened that day.
Rem: yah true.
Kajah: come one I'll show it to you.
Kajah takes Rem to the little bakery his grandmother owns and walks in with her.
Lunanie: Huh? OH!! HI KAJAH!!
How are you? And I see you brought Rem along with you. Is it just you two?
Kajah: y-yah.
Lunanie: *gasp* Awwwwww you two are on a date then?
Rem and Kajah both blush at Lunanies question.
Kajah: well...it wasn't at first but I guess it just kinda turned into one.
Rem: mhm. I don't mind it. We are having a nice day actually.
Lunanie: awww isn't that sweet. Oh hold on I'll have to give you two something for today then.
Lunanie goes to the back to get something for the two of them.
Rem: I wonder what she's getting?
Kajah: yah me to.
Lunanie comes back with a little lunch box in her hand.
Kajah: Huh? What's this grandmother?
Lunanie: it's a little something for you two to enjoy *giggles* I think it's one of my greatest desserts yet. I want you two to try them first.
Rem: th-thank you.
Kajah: oh wow thank you so much grandmother. You sure this is ok?
Lunanie: *smiles* Mmhm
Rem and Kajah head out after receiving the special gift from Lunanie.
Lunanie: I hope they become happy together. They both seem like a great match.
Kajah deciding when and where to eat the gift from his grandmother got him distracted and off track with the little date.
Kajah: (hmmm I have no idea when or where to eat this.)
Rem: hey Kajah?
Kajah:....(hmmmm)
Rem: Kajah?
Kajah: oh! S-sorry about that I was just thinking heh.
Rem: oh? About what?
Kajah: about when or where to eat this with you.
Rem: oh it's ok. I don't really care when or where.
Kajah: yah...but still. OH!!
Rem: hm?
Kajah: I know where. Come with me I know a place that's wonderful.
Kajah leads Rem out the town and to a nice size hill with a lone tree on top of it.
Rem: where are we?
Kajah: this is where I use to hang out a lot when I was a kid. I wanted to see the town and all the people from a nice distance because well. I wasn't really ready to talk to people yet. I mostly just wanted to be left alone. This tree here was smaller to. I use to love being under it because it was a very relaxing tree to be under when watching the town.
Rem: wow really?
Kajah: mhm
Rem and Kajah sit together and Rem opens the box from Lunanie.
Rem: w-wow... it's a beautiful cake.
Kajah: oh wow how did she get the icing to be neon blue like that? It reminds me of The Ancient Blue Forest.
Rem: Huh?
Kajah: oh it's something that's in my land. I'll take you there one day. It's really beautiful at night to.
Rem: it sounds really nice to.
Kajah: oh it is very gorgeous.
Kajah and Rem enjoy the cake together and have a great time talking to each other.
Kajah: I really enjoyed this time with you Rem. We should do this again.
Rem: I really enjoyed this time with you to Kajah. Ummm when would you like to do this again?
Kajah: hmmm OH! I'll take you to the Blue Forest next time heheh I think it will be a great place for a second date don't you think?
Rem: yah I think I will like that to.
The two of them where enjoying the time and before they knew it the sun had begun to set.
Kajah: OH!! CRAP!!
Rem: what?
Kajah: The sun is setting we should get back to the mansion.
Rem: oh yah you're right. I don't think we will make it before dark.
Kajah: hah you forgot about Crimson huh.
Rem: oh you're right.
Kajah summons Crimson and tells him to go as fast as he can back to the mansion.
The two get on Crimson and head off back as fast as they can go.
[Meanwhile back at the mansion.]
Ram: *sigh* I didn't know they would be gone for this long...they really took the entire day huh. (not to mention the kids were upset again.)
Subaru: oh Ram hey.
Ram: hey Subaru. What where you doing all this time?
Subaru: oh I was training like yesterday. Had to eat and rest a little bit. I think I used too much of my mana again.
Ram: I see. Do be more careful.
Subaru: heh right. Hey have you seen Kajah and Rem anywhere?
Ram: oh yes I sent them out on a date.
Subaru: wait what? A date?
Ram: yes. Rem wasn't really feeling herself  lately so I had her go on a date with Kajah.
Subaru: Kajah agreed to it to?
Ram: oh no I had to trick Kajah on going on a little date with her.
Subaru: trick?
Ram: yes. You know how busy Kajah is all the time and, how weird Rem has been acting. So I figured what not let those two go out today.
Subaru: oh..I see...well..I hope they are having fun.
Ram: yah me to. Though it's getting pretty late.
Subaru: you having second thoughts?
Ram: no. I trust Kajah with my sister Subaru. If I didn't you really think I'll let those two be together right now?
Subaru: r-right.
Ram: besides if he can look after 6 kids and each one looks up to him as a father. Then I have nothing to worry about. Don't you agree?
Subaru: yah.you have a good point.
Ram: now if you can help me with these kids that would be nice.
Subaru: Huh?
Subaru looks at all the kids playing around and being ruff with stuff in the mansion.
Ram: HEY CUT THAT OUT YOU TWO!!!
Zephyr: oh crap...RUN!!!
Rez: HAHAHAH!!!!!
Toru: I love stacking these books.
Mei: Zzzzzzzz
Kiskue: this is quite a predicament Ram. They are acting up on purpose.
Emma is holding Ram's hand.
Subaru: I see there's a lot going on here huh.
At that moment Subaru could see A black and red mist coming fast to the mansion.
Subaru: what is that?
Ram: I don't know but it's getting here extremely fast.
Rem clutching on to Kajah as they are getting closer.
Kajah: we're almost there.
Rem has her head resting on Kajah's back content and smiling.
Kajah: (wonder if they know it's us?)
And in seconds the black mist stops in front of the door. Ram Subaru and the kids all see what it was.
Kajah: *feww* we made it back with the sun barely up still.
Rem: mhm.
Subaru: wait that mist was Crimson?!
Kajah: yah at increased speed it looks like that heh sorry I had you all worried.
Ram: so how was your date?
Kajah: it was...oh I forgot about the things You wanted Ram. I'm so sorry.
Ram: oh stop Kajah I was lying about that.
Kajah: eh?
Ram: it was just to make you two go out and take the day for once.
Kajah: r-really?
Rem:..sorry... I had a really great time though.
Kajah: heh that's ok. Honestly I really enjoyed the time with you like I said before, we must do this again.
Rem:Mhm definitely.
Subaru: I'm glad you two had a great time.
Ram: took you two a while to get back though.
Kajah: yah...sorry about that...we lost track of time.
Rem: yah the sunset was just to nice to miss.
Kajah: I hope you and Emilia will go on a date to Subaru.
Subaru: yah I definitely need to.
Ram: good now if you would excuse me I have to put these little ones to sleep.
Kajah: Wait what?! You got them on a sleep schedule?!
Ram: yes. Why?
Kajah: normally they sleep when they are tiered from doing a lot during the day. I'm honestly impressed Ram wow.
Ram: well...it's nothing really. Just have to know how to put them to sleep is all.
Beatrice: you mostly just made them work around the mansion all day Ram.
Subaru: B-Beatrice when did you get here?
Beatrice: a couple seconds ago. Anyway you made them work around the mansion then let them play near the end of the day.
Kajah: really?
Ram: B-Beatrice...you.
Kajah: it's ok. I think the work is good for them.
Subaru: it's different for them I'm sure.
Kajah: I'm sure it is considering I never put any of them to work.
Rem: really?
Kajah: yah...but this is a great experience for them. Nice one Ram.
Ram: why thank you.
Kajah: how was Emma?
Ram: don't worry I didn't have her do much. Only to give me small stuff that's all. She was really happy helping with everyone to.
Kajah: that's good. She must really love it here to.
Rem: I'm glad they all love it here.
Kajah: oh Subaru you trained today right?
Subaru: yah.
Kajah: sorry I wasn't here for that.
Subaru: it's ok don't worry. Besides I can do both arms now with the aura.
Kajah: REALLY!! THATS AWSOME!! Heh I knew you could do it Subaru. You need to get full body then we can do part three of your training.
Subaru: what is part three anyway?
Kajah: part three will be your yin weapon.
Subaru: I can't wait for that.
Beatrice: you two are to much alike
Kajah and Subaru: what I am nothing like him. eh? HEY!!
Everyone laughed at that and the night was as great as the day. Tomorrow will start Subaru's third part of his training. However a stranger near the Irlam Village appears and is very suspicious.
Strange women: ooh so this is where I sensed the pure souls. One of them is familiar. Well I guess I'll have to blend in until I get those four little pure souls heheheh.
