The Last Step

The dust finally clears and, Subaru is amazed by the destruction of their combined attack.
Subaru: (d-did we do it?)
Kajah: is...Alex ok?
Alexander emerges from the rubble slightly injured by the attack.
Alexander: I'm ok...just a small price to ensure a direct hit.
Kajah: ARE YOU CRAZY!!!
Subaru: YOU COULD HAVE DIED!!
Alexander: hm perhaps, however I didn't so it all worked out.
Subaru: sometimes I wonder how sane you really are Alex.
Kajah: agreed.
Alexander: hmph
Subaru: oh! Is your father down from that?
Alexander: I'm not sure... actually...I don't sense him.
Kajah: did we...
Alexander: I...don't think s-
Before Alex could finish a powerful black tower of pure yen spirals from behind Alex.
Alexander: *ngh*
Xalvec: AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Kajah:...this...is bad.
Subaru: *gulp*
Alexander: BACK UP NOW!!
The three of them backed up a good distance from the tower.
They watch as Xalvec who is now massively taller emerge from the tower of yin.
Subaru: n-no wh-way...
Kajah: Alex...what...is this?
Alexander: I-I don't know...I never knew about that form.
Xalvec: I WILL END YOU ALL!!!!!
Black clouds surround Xalvec fallowed with his now massive reaper scythe.
Subaru: Wait...look at his chest.
Kajah and Alex: hm?
They all see a big opening from the combined attack that reveals a person unconscious surrounded by dark yin hands.
Alexander: THATS HIM!!!
Subaru: is that?
Kajah: his father?
Alexander: that attack must have broken a barrier or something. Now we can try to get that elixir on him.
Subaru: will this really work?
Alexander: yes even if it's just a drop , its potency is very strong and will nullify his powers. Though I'm not sure of the side effects.
Kajah: I think I know why you are gonna be the one to do it Subaru.
Subaru: Huh?
Kajah: your ability to see into the future a little will help you in evading a lot of his attacks.
Subaru : yes but there's a limit on how far I can see. Not to mention I'll have to have some time to react.
Alexander: that's where we come in. We will provide you with as much cover as possible. Now get ready.
Alexander created two small spheres of mana and puts one on  Kajah and Subaru.
Subaru: Huh? What was that?
Kajah: woah I feel much better heheh.
Alexander: there was about 25% of my mana and energy in those spheres.
Kajah: wait why would you do that?
Subaru: won't that mean you only have less than 50% yourself?
Alexander: don't worry about me remember? Stay focused on the task at hand.
Subaru: r-right...
Kajah: Sorry.
Xalvec begins to prepare his attacks.
Alexander: get ready
Subaru: right
Kajah: here we go.
The three go into their forms once again with Subaru having future sight ability activated.
Alexander: remember Subaru use it only to get around his attacks.
Kajah: yah don't worry about us we got this.
Subaru: right.
Subaru begins to focus and prepare to avoid Xalvec's powerful attacks.
Xalvec: RAAAAAAA!!!!!
Alexander: MOVE!!!
The group instantly dodged Xalvec's attacks. While Kajah and Alex are distracting Xalvec , Subaru is looking for a save and successful way to get the elixir in the broken hole of the monster Xalvec chest to free him.
Subaru: (dam...so far each attempt I see leads to the elixir missing or getting destroyed before I can even get close.)
Kajah: (Subaru...i can see that you're uncertain now...I gotta do more.)
The battle seems to be endless with Alexander finally getting tired from the amount of power he's used.
Kajah begins to feel weaker and tiered do to his new form requiring blood for each ability used. Subaru starting to get worse and worse headaches do to him going past his limits using his future sight.
Xalvec keeps attacking relentlessly and showing no signs of fatigue.
Alexander: (dam...at this rate.)
Kajah: (we can't keep this up...I could summon Crimson but...that will be more blood I'll need.)
Subaru: (I just need one opening.)
Kajah: (I have one option to help change this quickly.)
Kajah: Hey Alex...
Alexander: yah?
Kajah: I have an idea.
Alexander: oh? What's the idea?
Kajah: I'm sorry to ask this of you but...can you give me some time?
Alexander: hm? What are you planning?
Kajah gives Alexander a smile that concerned him greatly.
Alexander: Kajah...what the hell are you thinking about doing?
Kajah ignores Alexander and continues on with his plan.
Subaru still evading and trying to see an opening looks over at Kajah for a second, because he was still using his ability, Subaru was able to see what Kajah was going to do.
Subaru: (wh-what is he think-) KAJAH ARE YOU INSANE!!!! YOUR GOING TO DIE IF YOU DO THAT!!!
Kajah: *smiles* heh do what needs to be done Subaru.
Subaru: KAJAH!!!!!
Kajah: *takes a deep breath* HUURRRRRAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Kajah channels all of his mana and energy throughout his body, breaking the limits and having his demon armor glow a bright crimson red.
Alexander: K-Kajah...wh-what are you...
Kajah: LIMIT BREAK!!!! DEMON ARMOR!!! GOD BLOOD ARMOR!!!
Kajah's body was emitting power and mana that rivals Xalvec, however. The power was already causing horrible side effects tearing and ripping his body apart.
Kajah: RRRRAAAAAA!!!!
Kajah beyond his limits was so fast they couldn't see him charge Xalvec and stun him for a couple seconds.
Kajah: NOW SUBARU!!!! LOOK FOR THAT OPINING!!!
Subaru now trying to hurry as he knows the longer he takes the more Kajah is likely to die.
Subaru: come on come on there must be an opining where he won't see me coming!
Kajah begins to gain more speed causing Xalvec to focus more on him.
Subaru: (THERE!!!!) HAAAAAAA!!!!
Subaru goes all in and makes a risky dash to get the elixir in tha massive Xalvec chest.
Xalvec: WHAT?!
Subaru gets stabbed by a yin spear through his stomach. He still throws the bottled elixir hoping it will hit its mark. Everything is moving like it's in slow motion and Subaru can see that Xalvec will still break it, but then Kajah grabbed it and tossed it directly at Xalvec's real body.
Subaru: KAJAH!!!!!
The elixir made it to its target shattering on impact. When the bottle shattered the yin arms around Alex's father began to dissolve.
Xalvec: BUT...HOW?! WHAT WAS IN THAT BOTTLE!!!
Alexander: something to cure you father of this curse.
Xalvec:GAHHHHH!!!
The dark energy around Xalvec begins to spread out more and dissipate. At the same time Xalvec shrank more and more until the his true form was revealed. He was unconscious on the ground and not moving.
Subaru: K-KAJAH!!!
Kajah barely able to stand do to his wounds and over using his powers could only say.
Kajah: heh...w-we...d-did I-
Before Kajah could finish he collapsed and reverted back to his original form. Subaru ran over to Kajah seeing if he's still alive.
Subaru: KAJAH KAJAH!!!! Come on wake up!
Alexander walks over , He to was very weakened and tiered.
Alexander: don't freak out Subaru.
Subaru: wh-what??
Alexander: Kajah did do something completely rash but his demon blood will heal most of his fatal wounds. He will be out for a little bit but he will survive.
Subaru: Kajah...you-you idiot.
Alexander: your lucky though.
Subaru: Huh?
Alexander: your lucky to have his blood in you. That wound to your stomach is fully healed.
Subaru: completely forgetting he got stabbed looked to see that his stomach indeed fully heal and, the hole in his armor where he got pierced shows his exposed healed stomach.
Subaru: I'm really great full to you Kajah.
Before they could get themselves together more , the throne room began to shake, rumble , and crumble.
Alexander: dam we have to go now! I'll get my father. Subaru you make sure you and Kajah get out.
Subaru: I will.
Alexander: GO!! I'll be behind you soon.
Subaru began to carry the unconscious Kajah on his back.
Subaru: (lets hope we all make it out of here.)
