Today was different for some reason.

We weren't singing like we usually have been for the past week.

I had requested her not to.

For some reason, I wanted us to just sit in that ever-lone room.

And talk.

For real, have a conversation.

I wanted to do that with her.

So there we were, sitting close by at the edge of the stage, her short legs dangling from the ground while mine hardly touched.

It was silent for a while, as I looked down, watching her swaying her legs.

Until I decided to break it.

"So.....Why are you always here, in this room?" I asked.

"I don't like studying. So I skip all classes and sing. No one seems to care for my existence anyway, so I know I won't get caught." She explained.

"Uhm... Well...I mean your always here, at any time of the day...."

She shrugged.

"So...That means you think music is prior to you friends?" I asked, amusingly.

And just when she thought she'll think about it, she didn't.

"Yes, because I don't have any." She said, emptily looking at me.

I was a bit taken aback at how effortlessly she said it, as if it always has been that way.

My heart seemed to ache at that assumption.

"Oh really? So what am I huh?" I  asked in an offended tone.

She furrowed her brows.

"Eh....A boy? Or are you not?" She said, looking down at my pants..

"Aish....You don't consider me a friend?" I said, slightly flustered.

She jerked her head up at me.

"You.....A friend....?" She lostly mumbled.

"Yes, dumbass, we are friends, alright? Now you better consider me one because I think your a very interesting friend of mine." I said with smile.

And even for a second I noticed a tiny fiery spark in her dull orbs.

"TaeTae...My friend..." She mumbled again, as if taking in what I said.

She looked at me with a cheeky grin, and whispered a 'yay'

~I'm scared to get attached, but I can't stop~
