That first day of our winter vacations, turned out to be good.

(Y/N) and me ended up strolling through the icy wind and snowy white alleys.

It already been an hour or two since we have been talking about almost nothing.

But I still hadn't apologised for yesterday.

I didnt want to ruin the mood.

"Um... TaeTae...I have to go." She spoke, glancing down at her phone.

I made an ‛o’ face and nodded.

"I had fun today. Thank you" she smiled, and turned on her heels to walk the other way.

"Hey!" I frantically called out to her.

She turned to me with a questionable look.

I stood speechless, wondering what to say, now that I had stopped her.

'Just apologise to her, goddamit!'

My inner conscience screamed at me.

"Uh... um..Should...I walk you home?" I awkwardly suggested.

She shook her head.

"It's fine. You should go home. Your shivering." She pointed out, something I myself didn't realise.

I pursed my lips and looked down.

"Bye, TaeTae!" She waved and turned to walk away again.

I clicked my tongue in annoyance.

'Is this the right time for my apology?'

I thought, watching her get further and further.

I huffed.

'Well, I don't know if it is! It's just an apology and I have to do it!'

I made up my mind and quickly jogged towards her.

"Wait!"

I caught up to her, and she turned towards me again, with a surprised look.

"I....I'm sorry." I quickly said.

She tilted her head, completely confused.

'Aish, explain yourself, idiot'

"I'm...Sorry for yesterday. For yelling at you." I spoke in a low note, my head falling down with guilt.

"It's fine TaeTae. I deserved it." I heard her say with a chuckle.

My head shot up and I looked at her with a frown, readying myself to offend her statement.

"No, you didn't. Don't say that. I was...I was in a bad mood, and I took it on you. You didn't deserve it. At all."

She stared at me, once again, with that look, which had me enthralled, and smiled.

"Whatever you do, it's always okay with me." She spilled out.

My eyes softened at her say, and I sighed.

She's too kind. Too innocent.

"Anything else?" She questioned, assuming I would stop her again.

I sheepishly smiled, scratching my neck, wondering if there was anything to say.

"Ummm....Yeah! Give me your phone." I hurriedly gestured.

She stared at me, a bit taken aback, but handed it nevertheless.

"What are you doing?" She questioned at the sudden beep-text sounds from her phone.

I grinned and handed it back, as she looked down at it with curiosity.

"I saved my number, so that we can talk more." I explained.

She smiled, typing in something else onto my contact.

"Thanks" she said, showing me my name she saved.

TaeTae💕

I blushed a bit at my saved name, and smiled back.

"Message me, okay?"

She nodded and walked away, waving a ‛bye’.
