"Taehyung." A voice called out, making me snap out of my thoughts.

I turned around to see (Y/N)'s father standing and scanning me with an amused look.

"Did (Y/N) kick you out?" He asked, his voice a bit sickly hoarse.

"Ah....Well kinda." I replied, not knowing what else to say.

The grey-haired man nodded grimly and cleared his throat a bit roughly.

"Well, I just wanted to apologise for our sudden behaviour towards you. You must have been surprised, I believe?"
He said, a small smile residing to his features.

"Oh no! It's okay, you don't need to apologise!" I said in a stiff manner.

The man frowned a bit, a playful smile on his face as he seemed to see through my soul, but decided to drop the topic.

"It's just that.....It has been a long while since (Y/N) has had a friend around..." He glumly stated.

My eyes softened at that.

"TaeTae?"

The door to her room opened, as (Y/N) peeked her head out.

(Y/N)'s father patted my shoulder, "Take care of her." He whispered, as I replied in a nod.

(Y/N) frowned as she pushed the door ajar to let me in.

Expectedly, the room was in a quite better state, and the first thing that caught my eye was the big photo frame that was hung upon her wall.

I neared towards the picture, and assumed it to be a group picture of (Y/N)'s class in her elementary school.

"Ah! This is you, isn't it?" I said, pointing to a small girl in pigtails and a wide grin.

(Y/N) numbly nodded.

"You....Weren't in korea, were you?" I asked, examining the major number of the blondes and whitish features the children in the frame had.

"Yeah, I was in Australia." She stated.

I turned my head to her, amused.

"No need to be surprised, we move places a lot." She sighed, plopping onto her bed.

I hummed, bringing my attention back to the picture.

I smiled, noticing how happy (Y/N) looked, something I haven't witnessed a lot.

"Do you still keep in touch with your friends?" I asked her.

But maybe I shouldn't have.

She said with a bitter smile sprayed over her face,

"Friends? I have never had them."

I frowned in  confusion, for the picture tells a different story.

"It was all fake. I was alone, from the very beginning." She stated, as if it was a universal law.
