Chapter 28

(Ava)

Heavy breathing, sweat dripping, love. There was nothing in the world that could make me forget our moments.

I was madly in love with Grayson, I want to start a family with him. I need him in my life, he had me wrapped around his finger the whole time and I don't even think I knew it.

Grayson's arms were once again tightly wrapped around my waist.  I slowly moved from the bed and walked over the dresser, and grabbed a pair of high waisted jeans, and a blue sweater which was way to big for me.

I got dressed and then grabbed Finns leash. I decided to go take him for a walk instead of just taking him to the backyard.  I gave Grayson a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving.  Finn was already by the door waiting for me. I looked in on Harper, the queen size blankets and pillows seemed to swallow her, she look peaceful. I slowly shut her door, then walked down the stairs.

It's been awhile since I've been to town alone. I understand why Grayson doesn't want me to be alone, but I just need to have some time to myself.

"You're my protection, aren't you buddy" I said scratching Finn head. We walked to a nearby park, and there wasn't that many people. It was only 8 am, so most people are probably still sleeping. I found a bench and sat down. I pulled out my phone and texted Izzy.

Me-Hey, what's up.

She's probably asleep but it's worth a try. I thought. Finn was sitting down in front of me. Every time he heard or saw a bird he freaked out, but he didn't go chase them which is pretty good.

Izzy-Hey girl. I just got up. I gotta get ready for school.What are you doing?

Me-Nothing really just going for a walk.

Izzy- Do you want to hang out tonight?

Me-Yeah, i miss you

Izzy-I miss you too. Ill text you after school

Me-Okay ttyl. I love you

Izzy-I love you too

(Grayson)

"So you're telling me she just walked out"

"Yes sir, she took the dog with her"

I woke up and grabbed some pants off the ground and walked downstairs. Ava wasn't in the bedroom or the kitchen.

"Sir, shes not here" Kayden said

"What do up mean shes not here"

I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and call her

"Ava, are you okay"

"Yes Grayson. I just went for a little walk with Finn. We're at the park."

"Why didn't you wake me up. I don't want you to be alone."

"Im sorry i just needed a little time. We're on the way home now, Ill call you if something happens"

"Thats my point baby. I want you to be save."

"I love you Grayson, ill see you in a minute"

I sent Kayden to make sure she made it home okay.

''Hi mister" A little voice from behind me said

"Hi miss Harper, How are you doing?"

"Im okay. Thank you for letting me stay here"

"You can stay here as long as you need, Do you want something to eat?"

"Oh yes."

"Okay, Ava will be here in a few minute. Shes a better cook then me."

"Haha. Okay."

" You can watch some TV if you would like"

I motioned to the TV and held out my hand. She smiled a little and grabbed on to my hand. If im being honest i haven't really been around small children. Harper and I walked over to the couch and sat down. I turned on the TV and gave the remote to her.

"I dont know what you want to watch so its all up to you"

"The morning cartoons are the best"

"Well tomorrow morning me and you come down here and watch some good cartoons"

"Yay"

(Ava)

I walked into the house and walked over to the stairs. I heard Harper and grayson talking, so i walked over to the living room and saw them watching cartoons together.

I went up behind grayson and wrapped my arms around him.

"The big bad Gang leader likes paw patrol" I said as i kissed his cheek"

"Okay its not what it looks like. I was just showing her how to work the TV"

"You said we were gonna watch cartoons tomorrow" Harper said innocently

"Shh"

"You've been caught babe."

He got up and walked to me and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Miss Harper, we'll be right back and then Ava will fix you some breakfast." Grayson said

"Wish me luck" I winked at Harper as we left.

"I-"

"Nope" he said before I could even get my sentence.

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk to the room. When we got to the room I walked over the bed and sat down.

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?"

"I don't know, you looked peaceful, oh and there is no way you would ever let me go by my self anyway." 

"You're right. I wouldn't let you go alone, because I love you and i want to protect you."

"Baby there is only so much you can do, teach me."

"Teach you what exactly."

"How to shoot a gun, how to ya know not die."

"The thought of you kicking ass turns me on" he said walking towards me

"Haha funny Grayson. Im gonna kick your ass." I said giggling. He walked right in between my legs so i wrapped my arms around his neck. "Get shorter for just a second please." He chuckled and bent over.

I pulled him into a kiss and when he began to move his hips towards mine I pulled away and tried to run to the door,but before I could he pulled me back. "Babe I have to go fix Harper some breakfast remember."

I walked downstairs, and walked to the kitchen. I made pancakes and bacon for everyone. After I got done cooking Grayson, Harper and I sat at the table and ate.

"So Harper have you been to school yet" I said taking small bites of bacon. We need to find out who she was and where she came from.
