Chapter eighteen

Grayson and I left the store after paying for the new bedroom suit. "Thank you Grayson".
"No need to thank me love, seeing you happy is all the thanks I need". I blushed. "Stop gray you're making my face red.

Grayson grabbed my arm and pulled me to a stop "Ava I love you, you red faced cutie.". "I love you too you non red faced cutie". He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Hey put me down right now." I screamed while beating his butt with my fists.

"Nope." He said as he continued to walk to the car.

"May I ask why YOU WONT PUT ME DOWN?"

"Well i'm hungry and i'm guessing you are too so we're going to get something to eat and you walk slow, so i thought i would help you out a little."

"So your calling me-"

Before I could get my sentence out Grayson picked me up from his shoulder and placed me back on the ground.

"Ugh your shoulder hurts, but hey at least I  didn't have to walk"

He opened up the passenger door for me and then walked over the the drivers side. We got into the car and drove off.

"Babe what do you want to eat?" Grayson asked.

"It's up to you, wherever you want to go is fine with me."

"Do you want pizza?"

My belly growled "Yes. I love pizza. Pizza would be lovely right about now."

"Okay, we'll pick some up and go somewhere else and eat while they're working on our bedroom"

"Okay, sounds like a plan"

Grayson called in the pizza and we drove to some pizza place and got the pizza.

We drove for about thirty minutes,we ended up in a park. Grayson and I got out of the car and sat down near the playground, there was children playing, and running around.

"Look at all the little babies doing little baby think." I said as I looked at the children running around.

"Babe these aren't babies" Grayson said looking down at me

"Yes they are now eat pizza and look at them".

We sat there and ate pizza and looked at the kids. Me personally i've never wanted a baby just because i'm afraid of turning out like my dad, you know how they say "the apple never falls far from the tree". I know i'm never going to hit my kids or hurt them like he hurt me. I just don't want to take my anger out on them.

Being with Grayson has made me change, he's made me feel so special, so loved. I'm different now, seeing the children running around playing, laughing, running to their parents with arms open, reminded me how my childhood was. I miss those times when my mom was still here and my dad was happy.

"Ava?" Grayson said bumping into my shoulder.

"Yeah, sorry i spaced out."

"What were you thinking about?"

"Okay so like not to make things awkward or anything because i don't want to be awkward because i don't want you to-."

Grayson cut me off before i could finish my sentence. "Babe, what?." he said chuckling

"Okay so have you ever thought about having children in the future."

"Honestly i've never met anyone that made me want to, until i met you ava. I love you, i'm in love with you. i would love to start a family with you when you're ready"

I looked down i could feel my face heating heating up. I thought to myself "does he really want a family with me, like me of all people".

He lifted up my face and kissed my cheek. "I love you grayson". i said looking up at him

He smiled "You ready to go home baby."

" Yeah"

He picked up the pizza box and threw it away. He held my hand as we walked to the car.

We drove for about forty five minutes and then finally we were home i saw erik and some other guy loading our old dresser into a u-haul van.

We got out of the car and went into the house. Grayson talked to some guy. I went into the kitchen and poured myself a glass of apple juice. I finished it and put it in the sink. When Grayson was done talking to the guy he came into the kitchen.

"You ready to see the room?"

"YES." i yelled

We walked up stairs and he opened up the door and my jaw dropped.

"It's beautiful i love it." i turned around and hugged him.

I threw my arms around his neck. I pointed to myself "me" then i pointed to him "you". I gave him a quick smile and a wink let's go to bed."

Hey loves. Oh my goodness it's been so long i'm sorry i've been having writers block. But i'm going to write more i promise.
