Chapter Nine

Graysons POV

I asked her to live with me and she just looked at me and smiled, she laid her head on my chest and went to sleep. I made a promise that I would never let anyone ever hurt her again. When I helped her get into the bath I made sure not to look away from her eyes. She was so beautiful i wanted to tell her, but now wasn't the time. She trusts me. It is my life goal to keep her safe. I need to make her mine.

I didn't sleep last night I just watched her, it was 8am before I got up. I got out of bed slowly making sure not to move to much. I walked down stairs to make her some food. Kayden met me at the end of the stairs.

"How is she" He asked

"She fine, make sure to stay quite I don't want to wake her."

"Erik and jack went to her father's house to grab all her stuff they should be back soon"

"Okay"

I walked into the kitchen and poured her some orange juice and put a bagel in the toaster and got out the cream cheese. After it was done I walked up the stairs and placed the food and drink on the bed stand and sat back in bed waiting for ava to wake up.

I heard her groan and then she squealed oh god that was adorable she raised her hand and she flopped it on my lap.

"Ahhh"

"Why are you screaming, you're the one who hit me"

"Oh, yeah"

"You're adorable"

"Well thank you, what time is it"

"8:10"

"Why the hell am I awake"

"Because you woke up I think"

"Grayson"

"Yes honey"

"I want food"

"Look beside you"

She smiled at me and grabbed the food. She looked so happy her smile made me happy, I wanted to make her mine I wanted to protect her.

"Erik and Jack went to get your stuff."

She stopped moving and her face got extremely red I thought she was going to cry, my heart dropped.

"Are you okay?"

I got next to her in the bed and help her "What's wrong babygirl". I saw a tear fall from eye.

"I thought he would change"

I wiped the tear from her face and turned her head towards mine and I looked into her eye. She tried to look away but I wouldn't let her. "Look into my eyes baby" She finally looked at me. "I'm never going to let anyone hurt you".

She laid her head on my shoulder "Thank you Grayson"

She laid her head on my lap and i started to play with her hair "Grayson if you keep doing that I will fall asleep". "Do you want me to stop?'. "No". I continued to play with her hair.

"Grayson, I need to go back to my house"

"Why"

"I need to grab something". I looked at her confused what would be so important that she needed to go. "What do you need to get and I'll get Kayden or Erik to get it". "No Grayson this is something I want to get, I know Greg's work schedule so I know when he's at work.". She had moved her head off my lap and laid it on the pillow, she was looking up at me and i was looking down at her. She was something special. "I'm going with you" There was no way i would ever let her go back to that house alone. "Okay, when can we go" "Whenever you want". "Where is my phone" I reached over her and opened the drawer to the bed stand and grabbed her phone.
