Chapter seventeen

Ava's pov

After we finished the movie it was about 8:30pm. "Grayson I'm hungry" "Me too". "You should order some Chinese". "Okay, what do you want" "Sesame chicken and white rice with lots of soy sauce". "Okay I'll go pick it up I'll be back in 30 minutes, if you need me call me". I got up and gave him a kiss "Thank you babe". He hugged me and then walked out of the room. While he was gone I figured I would clean up some.

I grabbed the clothes basket and walked downstairs to the laundry room and started a load of clothes. Finn followed me where ever I went. I walked into the kitchen and washed the dishes and wiped all the counters down. I went to the living room and straighten up the couch. Me and Finn walked up the stair and laid in bed. I turned Netflix back on and started watching sing about 15 minutes into the movie Grayson came in with a bag of food.

"Omg thank you babe I'm hungry" I said sitting up in the bed. "Finn go to your bed" I said point to his bed beside our bed. He jumped down a drunk some of his water before he laid down. Grayson sat the bag down on my lap and got in bed and laid next to me. I opened the bag and got out a plastic container with sesame chicken and a I pulled out a tall white container with white rice. Grayson got two egg rolls and shrimp fried rice.

We laid down and ate our food and watched sing. "Ava, what are we watching". "Sing". "Isn't this a children's movie". "I'm hurt why would say that. Do I look like a child to you". "Do you want me to answer the question honestly" he said chuckling.

"Ugh whatever just watch the movie". "Okay love". We finished our food and watched Netflix. I curled up next to Grayson and closed my eyes.

"Ava, are you awake. If not wake up. Finn come here" I heard someone say while patting my back.

Finn jumped on my back"I just need five more minutes of sleep please" I said while petting Finn

"Nope babe we're going shopping" Grayson said sitting next to me on the bed.

"Okay what time is it" I said rubbing my eyes.

"10:30"

I pet Finn and then got out of bed and kissed Grayson "Good morning Grayson" I said wrapping my arms around his neck. I had to stand on my tippy toes just to kiss him. "Good morning beautiful". I walked to the bathroom and took off my shirt to brush my teeth because toothpaste stains and it's really hard to get out. I put my hair in a high bun. I brushed my and then took my hair down and brushed it. "Grayson close your eyes" "Why". "Because I said so" "Okay boss". I put my shirt in the dirty clothes basket. I made sure Grayson's eyes were closed, and then i walked over to my dresser. I felt something touch my waist,"HEY!?" Grayson wrapped his arms around me I turned around and tried to pushed him away. "I told you to keep your eyes close and put a shirt on please I need to get ready and you're distracting me". He chuckled "So my shirtless is distracting you".

I pull his head down and kissed him "Yes, and now if you will excuse me I would like to put clothes on". He kissed me on the forehead and walked into the bathroom. I grabbed a pair of black jeans and a red t-shirt. I got changed and then I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of orange juice.

I sat on the counter and drank my juice and by the time I was done Grayson walked down the stairs. He walked over to me and kissed my forehead. "Are you ready baby?". He said holding his hands out for me. "Yeah I am" I said grabbing his hands and hopping off of the counter.

It took us about thirty minutes to get there. Grayson got out of the car and walked over to my door and opened it. "Thank you" I said grabbing his and smiled. As we walked I took deep breaths, I breathed in the smell of fresh flowers. I heard a baby laughing;I turned to see a mother holding up her baby. I loved seeing things like that. It just brightens my day.

I looked up at Grayson, who was looking down at me. "What? They make me happy" I giggled looking back down. We walked up to the door and they slid apart. A blast of cold air hit us. I fixed my hair and grabbed Grayson's arm. "What do you want to look at first". "Let's look at the bed frames". "Okay baby".

We walked over to the bed and mattress section. I saw a beautiful white bed frame. "Grayson, this one is so beautiful, let me check the price". "Baby don't worry about the prices we don't have to worry about money". "But babe". "No buts".

Grayson called a worker over to see if it was in stock.  "Hello, my name is Derek, how may I help you". "We would like this bed please". "Okay do you want the whole bedroom suit". "What does it look like" they man typed something into a tablet and showed us a picture.". " Thats beautiful baby". "Okay Derek we'll take it" " Okay, cash or credit". "Credit, just bring it to the house and a few of my friends will be there to take care of it."
