Lost Love

Hey guys! I'm back again with another chapter! So I hope everyone likes it! ENJOY;-)

"H-hi Cosmo" Tails said weakly. Cosmo smiled with tears in her eyes and hugged him tightly. The latter returning the same embrace. 'He's so warm. But what if he doesn't likes me that way?' Cosmo thought. 'Great, I'm stuck with the same problem again. How am I gonna tell her that I love her more than anything?' Tails thought. They both broke the hug after what felt like hours. They both remained silent as they looked in each others eyes. No one spoke a word. They were both lost for words.
'Those eyes, those blue eyes, have truly stolen my heart. How am I supposed to live without them near? Without feeling the love in them? I have to tell him'  Cosmo thought.
'Speak up Tails. Open that stupid mouth of yours! This is your only chance. Do it before it's too late. Do it before you lose her again! The universe is giving you just one chance! Speak up!' Tails thought. But there was nothing but silence. A few minutes later, Cosmo finally spoke:
"Tails I-" but she was cut off by a finger pressed softly against her lips.
"Don't say anything..." Tails said as the both stared at each others eyes.
"Cosmo... I never knew....I never knew that...that even after growing up with Sonic, I'll be too slow. To slow to speak. I never knew. I...never found the confidence in me. But now I do..." Tails said. Cosmo was just listening to him. 'Is he?.... Is he really?!' She thought.
"I found that confidence from the junk inside me....just for you." Tails continued.
'Th-thats not true! There's no junk inside you! You...you're too precious for that...' Cosmo thought.
"Cosmo, I never thought in a million years that I'll find this feeling. That I'll find someone who'll take my heart. I pushed all my senses aside for you. There was just one thing I felt near you. The world calls it 'Love' if I'm not mistaken. I wanted to tell you back at the Blue Typhoon but...I couldn't. And know I am telling you this: Cosmo the seedrian, ever since I met you, I knew that I was in love. I loved you ever since I picked you up in my arms after your crash. I loved the way you were near me. I loved when you supported me. When you told me I'm not useless. You taught me that I can. And I lived till today just on your memories. And that now your here, I want you with me. I want to start each day from you and end each night on you. I want to be your favourite hello and your hardest goodbye. I wanna live with you, Cosmo. I wanna die with you..........I love you, Cosmo" Tails ended.
"I...........I love you too, Tails..." Cosmo finally spoke.
And before they knew it, they leaned in and their lips collided and they both shared a passionate kiss. Who knows how many minutes, hours or years passed. They didn't cared for time. All the knew was they were together again. But this time, confessed. Nothing can separate them now.
After some time,the two broke the kiss for some air. Tails caressed Cosmo's cheek with his hand. Both looking into each other's eyes lovingly. Unaware of the world, they joined their foreheads and enjoyed their moment after the longest of times....

With The Gang:

"You sure you know how to get out of this?" Sonic asked.
"Of course I do! I just need the coordinates right and we'll be out!" Nex exclaimed.
"Uh hello... We're trapped! How are some flipping coordinates gonna help us out?!?" Amy exclaimed.
You see, when they went looking for Cosmo, they got stuck in a hallway as two force fields trapped them from both sides. And since the walls were indestructible, they were stuck.
"Just. Let. Me. Get the coordinates!!!" Nex shouted. Non of them said another word. Nex soon got what he wanted but before he could say something or better say someone threw a smoke bomb there. Everyone was confused that where did that even came from?!
"What the-!?" Before anyone could say something the circular object released black smoke everywhere. The gang found it really difficult to breath in it but they couldn't help themselves.
"*cough*!! Who? *cough*!!" Sonic wasn't able to complete his sentence before they all went out one after another. The last thing Sonic saw was smoke clearing and revealing a cloaked figure. Then he went out too.
When the smoke cleared, the hood of the cloak slid backwards revealing the mystery attacker. There stood a grey wolf with yellow eyes. He had black gloves and black boots. He had an orcrist attached to a belt on his waist.
He smirked just as he deactivated the force field. Knowing fully that non of them will wake up for a long time, he left for another way...

"Now that they're out of my way......the crystal's power will be in my hands....."

Back To Tails & Cosmo:

Tails and Cosmo thought it was best to first end this whole thing. The two scanned the entire room but they could find only one thing.
"This is the only thing common here. It may lead us somewhere" Cosmo said.
"I don't know, Cosmo. This whole thing is confusing me. Only if I could read these words it would've been a lot easier...."  Tails said. But suddenly he clicked to a realization he wished he would have done before.
"Wait a minute! I can't read this stuff but UT's software, installed in my communicator, can. Stupid me!" Tails exclaimed.
"Well, let's do it, my genius." Cosmo said and gave him a quick peck on his cheek. Tails blushed but did the same. He then stepped back and pressed a button on his communicator as a bright yellow light scanned the walls of the room. After the scan, they both looked for results in the communicator. The device projected the translations in front of them.
"Whoa...." To be continued...
