Tonight is New Year's Eve but it's also mine and Rose's Engagement Party. We both thought it was a good idea to do it tonight since our close friends and family are around us. We rented out a fun photo booth, chefs and bartenders.

Rose's p.o.v
We were nearing 10 pm and most people were drunk. Morgan and Andrea being two of the people drunk off their asses, but they promised to sober up ready for midnight. Colson, Rook, Slim, and Brendon were high in the backyard. My mom and dad were talking with Colson's parents. They seemed to get on well, which is important when your children are getting married. Casie was sat with Ashleigh and Ashton making funny faces at him whilst he laughed back. Sarah was talking with George and Adam. Ross was on the phone to someone outside and Matty was sat next to me telling me about the tour, but I wasn't listening. The rest of the EST gang was here as well including Rook's dad.
"Rose, you with me?"
"Huh, sorry. What were you saying?"
"What were you thinking about?"
"Colson"
"That's sweet. Anyways, back to what I was saying. We have a tour stop here in Ohio between the 12th and 14th of May next year and I was wondering if you and the girls wanted to choose a song to come up on stage and sing it with me?"
"That sounds fun. Morgan loves singing along to Girls. Andrea loves to sing along to Love Me and for me, it's Somebody Else"
"Perfect which date?"
"Hmm, I'll talk to the girls and let you know"
"Sounds great. Another question?"
"Sure"
"Can I see the ring again?"
"Of Course!"
I lifted my hand and placed it in Matty's view. He admired everything about the ring from the size to how it fits perfectly on my finger.
"I've spoken to Colson about this. But, we were wondering if you and the guys would sing our first dance song at our wedding?"
"What's the song?"
"We haven't decided, but once we pick and think it's suitable for you to sing, we'll send the details"
"Perfect. Another wedding I get to attend. I'm so excited"
"I know. Colson and I wanna make sure that the date is suitable for everyone to attend. We were thinking sometime during the summertime as our tour won't start until after the summer"
"Sounds good to me"
Morgan and Andrea were now passed out on the couch. I nudged Matty and we came up with the plan to chuck them in the pool. We gathered everyone around and told them the plan. Colson and Rook were going to chuck Andrea whilst Slim and Brendon would chuck Morgan. I offered to record the whole thing. The guys picked them up and walked into the backyard and did a countdown.
"1,2,3!"
The girls were thrown into the pool and both of them immediately woke up.
"What the fuck!"
Everybody laughed as they got out of the pool.
"Thanks for waking us up though!"
The girls walked inside and got changed.

It was 15 minutes until midnight and Colson and I had gathered everyone around to say a speech. Colson started the speech.
"Thank you to all of you who came tonight to celebrate Rose and I's engagement and New Year's Eve. 2018 was a good year and I never thought I would be in a healthy relationship with the most amazing woman. Rose, you have managed to change my life over the past year and I am grateful to go into another year with you and hopefully next year you'll officially become Mrs. Baker. Let's hope for an amazing 2019. Grab your lovers and grab a drink the countdown to midnight starts soon!"
Colson pulled me closer and placed a kiss on my forehead as he smiled at me.
"I love you"
"I love you too. I look forward to marrying you next year"
"You still wanna tear this dress off me later?"
"Hell yeah"
"After midnight or when everyone has left?"
"As soon as the kiss and midnight are over with I'm taking you to Colson's Room of Pleasure"

Everyone started counting down from 10"

We all kissed our lovers and soon went back to more drinking and eating. Colson grabbed my hand and led me upstairs to the bedroom. We hungrily kissed each other as we fell on the bed. I was quick to unbuttoning Colson's blazer and shirt. I flipped us over so he could unzip my dress.
