Colson's p.o.v

"I fucked up, didn't I? I didn't mean to say those words. God damn, Rose is everything to me and I blew it"

"You didn't blow it, she still has her ring on. She knows deep down you didn't mean it, but it hurt her Colson. She never thought those words would come out of your mouth"

"I know. I screw everything up. I've tried to talk to her for the past week but she's blocking me out"

"She has her reasons too, Colson. If you really want to make things better then I suggest you get on a plane to L.A and get over to our house. Even if she doesn't want to see she can at least see that you're trying to make things right"

"I know. We're having a baby together and here I am just acting like a prick"

"Go pack your bags now and get on that plane. Don't waste any more time"

"I'm going. I'll keep you updated"

"OK"

"Thanks, Sarah"

"You're welcome. I'll make sure B and I are out of the house because you know Brendon"

"I do. I know how he is protective over Rose. He must hate me"

"He doesn't hate you he just doesn't understand why you acted like that"

"OK. I'll be there in a few hours"

I hung up the phone and went to pack my bags. I informed everyone that I was leaving to sort things out and hopefully Rose would return back to Cleveland with me. Hopefully. I arrived at the airport within 15 minutes and got on the last minute flight to LAX. 

~ a few hours later ~ 

"I'm waiting for my Uber right now, should be at your place in 20-30 minutes"

"OK. We'll leave the door unlocked so you can surprise her"

"Ok and thank you again Sarah"

"Anytime, I know you guys always work your way around problems like this. I'm sure you'll get through it this time"

"Yeah. I'll let you know what happens. Also, you don't have to leave your house"

"It's fine. We need to go some shopping"

"Ok. Come back whenever you want. Don't stay away"

"We won't"

"Ok. My Uber is here now so here goes nothing"

"Good luck"

"Thanks"

I got in the uber and told the driver the address. I leaned back in my seat and looked through my photo album and clicked on the video Rose had sent me last week. It was our baby's heartbeat. It was beautiful. Why was I such a jerk? Why did I even say though words if I didn't mean them?

~ 15 minutes later ~ 

"Here you go sir, that will be $12"

I handed him $20 and told him to keep the change. I walked up to the door and entered the house. It was quiet. Penny and Bogart jumped on me as I walked around looking for Rose. She wasn't in the studio or outside. She might be asleep in the guest bedroom. I opened the first door and realized it was Brendon and Sarah's room. I walked to the room at the end and saw her peacefully sleeping on the bed with her t-shirt slightly showing her small bump. I walked towards her and got on my knees and started talking.

"Rose, I know you're asleep. But, I'm so fucking sorry for acting the way I've been. I don't know what came over me. I'm meant to be there for you and our baby and I've just been selfish and a massive douche towards you and everyone else. I'm sorry for fucking things up again when you needed me the most. As soon as I saw the video of our baby's heartbeat I broke down. That video made me realize I'm going to be a father again and you need and the baby need me now more than ever. Everyone back in Cleveland gave me a stern talking to especially Ashleigh. I don't expect you to forgive me straight away but please just remember that I love you and our baby so much. God, I love you so much and I don't want to ruin that ever, but I fear that I have. Sleep tight, my queen"

I kissed her forehead and walked back out of the room and sat outside by the pool. Penny and Bogart joined me with their toy balls. I threw them in opposite directions so they didn't get confused. 

Rose's p.o.v

My eyes fluttered open as I heard the bedroom door shut. He flew all the way from Cleveland to say those words. He got the heartbeat video. That makes me happy. I walked out of the bedroom and looked around for Colson. I heard him talking outside so I stood by the door. He was talking to the dogs.

"I really do love her you know Penny and B. Rose means everything to me and so does our baby"

I smiled at the words and waited a few seconds before speaking.

"I love you too, Colson"

"Rose. Baby, I'm sorry for everything"

"Don't repeat yourself, Colson. I heard what you said when I was asleep. You may fuck everything up, but you somehow manage to fix it. I love you, but promise me that you will never fall down like that again and if you feel like you are then come talk to me, or the guys or the girls"

"I promise. I'm sorry again"

"It's ok, baby. I heard you liked the heartbeat video"

"It was magical"

"Wanna know the sex?"

"Yes, oh god, yes!"

"We're having a baby girl"

"Another girl. I get two princesses!"

"You sure do. Look, I've got a small bump coming along"

I rubbed her tummy and leaned down to kiss it. 

"I am truly sorry for everything"

"It's ok, baby. You're here now and that's all that matters"
