"Don't worry unnie. I'm with Bambam and the guy promised me food and entertainment to celebrate our debut", Lisa smiled at how much of a worry wart her Jennie unnie was.
"I'll be fine by myself at the dorm. I'll be home by eleven, so enjoy your time with your family. I'll see you tomorrow night unnie, bye!"
After the crazy schedule they had for the last three weeks, they were given a two day off to recharge themselves. Though they clearly lacked proper rest, Lisa couldn't help but feel happy. After years of uncertainty, they finally got the debut stage they've always dreamed of.
Jennie and Jisoo unnie decided to go home for their day off and spend some time with their family. Chae on the other hand was with her parents who flew to Seoul, so she would be staying with them at their hotel room tonight.
Since a visit to Thailand wasn't an option for her, Lisa had been left to fend for herself at the dorm which was why Bambam's invite was such a godsend. Plus, how can she turn down free food?
Thinking about her friend, she had better get back to him. Lisa looked at the mirror one more time to check her appearance. She was wearing a plain white spaghetti strap covered with an oversized long sleeve checkered polo, denim shorts and her favourite pair of Timberlands.
Lisa was aware that Jungkook-sunbae would be arriving any minute now and she wanted to look her best. It'll be the first time they'll greet each other and she hoped they would get along and be friends.
With that thought in mind, she made her way back to the room. She paused midway. Was she hearing it right? Boombayah being sang by Bambam... and Jungkook-sunbae?
She hurried her steps and stopped at the corner. She was about to go in when Jungkook-sunbae rapped her part perfectly without even looking at the screen.
Wow! She finally understands why he was dubbed the Golden Maknae by his members and fans.
When both of them got to the pre-chorus her jaw literally dropped. Not only was the pair singing the song as if they had memorised it but also dancing in sync with the choreo.

Jungkook sunbae had his back on the floor making his way in between Bambam's legs who was swaying his hips from side to side.

They smoothly transitioned to the next move. Sitting on the floor, Jungkook-sunbae leaned his back to Bambam's chest. Though they did it perfectly, she couldn't help but laugh at the picture the two made. She wished she had her camera with her to capture the moment.
Back on their feet, she caught a glimpse of Jungkook-sunbae. He was smiling brightly and was clearly having fun. It made her happy seeing him enjoy himself with the song she and her members have poured their blood, sweat and tears on.
BOOMBAYAH
She had planned to stay where she was and wait it out to save them from embarrassment.
YAH YAH YAH BOOMBAYAH
But without meaning to, her feet brought her directly behind the boys.
YAH YAH YAH BOOMBAYAH
Bambam switched to jumping around instead of staying true to the choreo unlike Jungkook-sunbae.
YAH YAH Y—
"Oh Lisa your back!" Bambam shouted through the mic when he saw Lisa behind them.
Jungkook-sunbae was on the floor, head on the side, left leg bended, right knee and arm on the floor. Lisa didn't think it was possible for a person to turn their heads that quickly without injuring themselves, especially in that position but that is exactly what Jungkook-sunbae did when he heard Bambam.
Lisa met the doe eyes of Jeon Jungkook with her own. Both silently thanked the heavens it was dark so their reddening cheeks wasn't be noticeable.
"Annyeonghaseyo sunbae-nim, I'm Lisa of Blackpink", she greeted and bowed to show respect.
Jungkook's was still on the floor frozen in shock, his mind in a frenzy. Oh fuck! How long has she been there?
He wanted the floor to open up and swallow him whole.
He felt Bambam nudge him with his feet, nodding towards Lisa's bowed form.
Jungkook immediately stood up, bowed and clumsily greeted "A-a-annyeonghaseyo Lisa-sshi, it's n-nice to meet you"
When they faced each other, he forced a smile that he hoped looked genuine. "Please be comfortable with me, we are born in the same year after all", he added while scratching his nape.
Lisa smiled at him, "Alright... Jungkook-sshi. By the way, I'm flattered that you know our song and choreo very well. Thank you."
Jungkook awkwardly laughed, clearly still embarrassed about the whole thing.
To break the ice she said, "we should pick the next song"
She got the controller and turned to Jungkook and asked, "should we sing Fantastic Baby by Bigbang-sunbaenim?"
Jungkook laughed and let out a genuine smile this time.
The rest of the night was spent with the three of them singing, dancing and playing around.
With their stomachs full and spirits up, they called it a night. Before they separated, Jungkook heading to his dorm and Bambam escorting Lisa to hers, the new found friends exchanged numbers.
That night Jungkook entered his room smiling, his worries completely forgotten.
He had not expected how quick he became comfortable with Lisa. It usually takes him more than a few hours to comfortably speak with the opposite gender, what with him living with his hyungs since his teen years.
He grabbed his phone and looked at the selfie the three of them took. He smiled, Lisa was even more beautiful in person. He typed in a quick message to bid her goodnight.
He doesn't know what made him think it, but he knew in his gut that Lalisa Manoban was special.
Or maybe it was the constant loud pounding of his heart that made him thought so.
