Well, how about that Rolling Stone interview? We certainly learned A LOT about Shawn. . . A LOT.
1. Shawn and Hailey were a thing, I assume a fling. Even though Hailey is. . . Well, Hailey, I'm glad that Shawn is getting out there and trying to find someone to date. It's great for him, he deserves this. I'm annoyed though that Hailey suddenly cut him off by that unfollowing and deleting of posts she did with him but it's in the past. Let's hope Shawn can find someone new :)
2. He still has trouble managing the rumors about him that say he's gay. No one should be trying to make a person someone they aren't and what Shawn said is true, it's lucky he isn't actually gay and terrified of coming out because the rumors would just make it harder for him to come out. People should be more mindful of what they say because small comments like those can be very troubling.
3. "I love weed." THAT was NOT something that I expected. It's disappointing to see but it's his choice. As he gets older, he will make all of his own decisions and with that, he will experience the consequences of his actions. I do not agree with his choice to smoke weed but I will continue to be a fan. I am only bringing this up right now because it's in the article and I probably won't bring it up again. To each their own . . .
I think this article is part of an attempt to market him more toward an older crowd. I don't think he wants to appeal to young kids anymore which is why suddenly, this article comes out and says all of this. There could be more interviews like this to come out where he's more "honest than ever" and shows who he actually is.
To hear how Shawn struggles with his anxiety is so upsetting, he doesn't deserve to go through that. Anyone with anxiety or depression DOES NOT DESERVE TO GO THROUGH THAT. If anyone of you need someone to talk to, I'm here ❤️
