Woohyun

JiNa handed me a game controller and she gave the other one to the guy next to me, the one who walked in on us during our make-out session, the eldest son of the Joo family, JiNa's older brother, the one and only Joo MinHyuk.

I have never known that guy before, all I know that he is her older brother of her and Jihyuk, her twin brother. We have not met that often either, we only have met exactly 4 times, the meeting between the families at the restaurant about announcing the engagement between me and Joo JiNa,him telling me to bring JiNa out on a date, the party and the last time that the two families ever met over my dinner to terminate our engagement.

Other than that, I have never met any of the Joo family members, including their father until today. Everyone appeared in front of me like it is meant to, her older brothers walking in on us and interrupting our moment but not their father, I have never seen him yet. Maybe he is busy with his work.

"Choose a game, the loser will have to cook dinner, the winner would have one wish granted by the loser." He announced, giving me a chance to choose a game that I will ace it.

All out of the things that I have known about Joo MinHyuk, he plays video games with his younger siblings all the time when they were much younger and he aces in all of them, winning them all the time. He also trains his younger siblings a lot, that's why Joo JiNa is so good at playing them. I got Ko-ed by her 3 times in a row even though I was given the chance to choose a game.

I'm sure dead... "What are you waiting for?? Should I choose instead??" I immediately rushed to the front of the TV console and opened the cabinet, revealing tons of video games. She has bought even more games this time and they are all games that I have never heard of.

To be honest, I don't know how to play video games at that time. I'm a noob at playing it which explains the reason why I won to her 3 times in a row - I don't know how to control my character and had it hit the wall instead of making it drive straight and win the race.

But now I have mastered a few of the games, winning them against the robots in the game system. But I still lose sometimes because I am just too bad at these, I can't play games at all seriously. This is my weakness and yet I can't let it decrease my chances of winning against the older brother of Joo JiNa, the ace of racing car games.

"Are you sure that you want to play that game??" He asked and I nodded, confirming my choice for the duel between the two of us.

"He will KO you in one shot, aren't you afraid of that??" JiNa asks me one last time before I press play on the controller and I laughed.

"I'll definitely win you over like 3 times." I declared and the gears inside my head started turning, I have just regretted what I have just said. Why did I even want to play 3 rounds with him??

"So you want to play 3 rounds huh??" He replied and I nodded nervously. "Then let the battle begin!!"

At that moment, I should've just said that I give up on playing because I don't have a chance to win when I am facing such a strong player but I didn't. I had to protect what I have and that means to get back Joo JiNa and win over her family once again starting from the simplest things, a video game.

I throw my head forward and I groaned as I saw the results on the TV screen in front of me, I have lost to Joo MinHyuk once again for the 3rd time and it is my final chance to win him. There will not be any chances to win any games against him, he is really the game master.

"So??" He came sitting back and relaxing while I am in great distress, worrying about my future in the next 1 hour or less. Am I going to get hammered by him??

"I--" A hand snatches the game console and sat down on the floor, body facing the TV screen. "Let's play one more round, Oppa..."

"This is a duel between me and him, don't you dare to change the rules." He commented and Jina didn't turn to face him, it is as if she didn't hear what he had just said to her. "Are you even listening??"

"I am. But I want to play with you right now, the same as him, 3 rounds but now you have to agree to what I have to say if I win against you." She announced the rules and I could see that smirk on her face with the light from the TV screen radiating from her beautiful face.

"Let's stop here, he has lost and I have won. That's the only thing that I want to know." He got up. "I won't play with you right now."

"You have no choice, I want to duel with you and I mean it. Let's play the hardest level, you can do whatever you want if I lose." She passed one game controller to him. "Nam Woohyun, help us be the referee for the game."

That sudden dominance made me stop whatever I was going to do and obey her orders, I was going to tell her that I would just accept the fact that I lost and do my punishment but seeing her like that made me dependent on her. She has a plan...

"Fine. He is still going to cook anyway." He grabbed the controller and the two were immersed in the gaming world as soon as they sat down on the floor, their full attention on the game and nothing else.

They were playing a classic game that many of my friends were playing when they were younger, I saw SungYeol playing that once with SungJong when I went over to their house once. It is a shooting game and it is highly addictive and not recommended to play as it would get you addicted and never stop playing. I didn't get addicted because I wasn't a gamer and I was more interested in football more than anything else.

In the game, there are many levels ranging from its levels of difficulty and there is the final level where players have to complete it to finish the whole game and it is not easy to ace the level. Legend says that not more than a hundred has ever completed the entire game, most people would give up before they reach the final level.

I would not expect any of them to win the round as it is a very tough round and the chances of winning are not high, it is just a waste of time if you couldn't complete the level. But the two competing were not giving each other any chance to take over one another at all, they were on the same level and none of them looked like they are going to fail behind and give up.

And then I heard a yell and scream of victory in the split second that I looked away from the screen, the winner has been decided. Joo JiNa jumps up from her seat and lets out a scream, celebrating her victory and her older brother crouching on the floor as he has just lost the game to his younger sister.

"Yes, I won!! I finally completed the game before you!!" She yelled and I can't help but smile at the sight that I found myself enjoying. It is as if we returned back to 5 years ago when she celebrated her win after making me lose against him 3 times in a row.

She didn't change at all, she is still the same girl that I fell for... After that day at the wedding boutique, when I saw her in that wedding dress.

She put her brother in a headlock. "So?? How does it feel to lose??"

He groaned. "Fine, I lose. What do you want me to do??"

"I want to start over again with him. And I mean it." She pointed a finger at me. "As two responsible adults who have fulfilled their dreams."

Me too, I want to start loving you once again...
