JiNa

I delivered my final words to the audience who is also my classmates and lecturers and I bowed down as my performance is finished. The whole audience rejoiced for my amazing performance and I gave them a wide smile in return. That's the joy of performing in front of such a big audience and this is what I have always liked, that's why I chose to perform. I got off the stage and there stood Woohyun with his wide smiles, his eyes twinkling with the dim lights shining on him.

"You have done well..." He gave me a thumbs up. "What did they say??"

"They didn't say much but I'm not sure if I can get the role as I'm not feminine, they normally would choose the ones that looked more girly especially when the character Han JiEun is so girlish."

"They can have a slightly boyish character so that the role can have a bit of originality and who doesn't want to see such a cutie like you??" He pinched my cheeks, he commented that it is squishy one time when we are having dinner together. He tried to poke it but I threatened that I pull on his piercings if he dared to touch my cheeks.

I was expecting to hit him but he gave me such a big smile that I could not bring myself to hit him, it felt as if I could get arrested if I touched even one strand of his hair. "You are not going to hit me?? You told me that you will pull on my piercings if I pinch your cheeks and I just did that."

"I wanted to but I can't. You are too cute." I wanted to kill myself after saying that. This is not me at all, I don't do cute things.

"What?? Is that a miracle for you to say that?? Love really changed you, huh??"

My face flushed. "I don't love you, I told you a lot of times." I looked at the watch, it is time for us to return back to the front where they will conclude and announce the cast which the chosen students will act in for our school festival. Even though I don't say it out loud, I already knew who the male lead is just based on his acting skills. He doesn't look like the type that can act well but when he does, he can shock people around him as that professional side of him is rarely shown.

The lecturer came up to the stage and we applauded for it. "Ok, so the results had been concluded and I will announce it right here. The names that I have called out are the ones that will be in the musical, don't be disappointed if your name isn't called. It is not that your performance is below par, it is just not your role and improve more on it. The ones that have been chosen, the rehearsals will start next week. Please be in your best condition and we see you here at the same time." He started calling out names.

Main Leads: Lee YoungJae and Han JiEun

Seconds Leads: Yoo MinHyuk and Kang Hyewon.]

"Kim Myungsoo will act as Yoo MinHyuk, Han HeeRa will act as Kang Hyewon. That's for the second leads." He paused as he wanted them to go on stage and everyone applauded as they stood side by side, HeeRa and Myungsoo have been going strong, went on multiple dates after HeeRa accepted his confession. They have been the center of attention ever since they started going out officially last week, frequently posting photos of the two on social media and they even had a small Fanclub!!

"OK, the main leads are..."

As the lecturer continued to drag his words for as long as possible, Woohyun only became nervous even though he told me that he wouldn't care much about being the male lead or not. I, on the other hand, held tightly to his hand, squeezing it slightly, telling him that there is nothing to worry about and I'm sure that he will be the male lead.

"The one acting as Han JiEun would be Joo JiNa." He concluded. "Congratulations on your excellent performance earlier, Miss Joo. We liked it and decided that the role is given to you." He commented and I gave a slight smile to the lecturer and a glance of hope to Woohyun. Let him be the male lead, please...

"The one acting as Lee YoungJae would be..."

He said the name and I swear that I had turned deaf for a short second, I couldn't hear anything and it came back instantly. I heard that three words coming from the lecturer's mouth and he is still saying that same name. What?? It is him??

"Let's welcome the couple for this musical, Joo JiNa, and Lee SungYeol. They will be representing our course for the school musical and I have high expectations that they will do well."

I turned towards Woohyun who said nothing but pushed me forward telling me to get on the stage, he wasn't in the least bit of happy. It wasn't jealousy as well, it is a weird feeling that I have never felt from him before. But I couldn't stay put and not do anything, all the students are waiting for me to get on the stage or the class is never going to end. I walked towards the stage and SungYeol is already there looking at me with those hopeful eyes.

"Right, these four people will do us proud and part of the course and we will be happy on the day of the school festival." The lecturer spoke and turned towards us. "Do you have any words to say to the class??"

Lee SungYeol grabbed the microphone from the lecturer as the lecturer passed it to him. "As the male lead, I will be honored to do the class proud and make the girls swoon over my acting." He looked towards me. "I have something to clarify." Whatever that you are going to say, don't say it...

"JiNa and I are actually dating, the Woohyun and JiNa thing is fake. It was only an arranged marriage, they didn't like each other."
