Episode 3

JiNa

"How many times I have to tell you to stay away from YoungJae? He's mine." I said in Hee Ra's face.

"Like what the others saw, we are married. Legally married. You are the one that is breaking up everything." Hee Ra said.

"I? YoungJae loves me, I just know it. Before long, I will be able to get together with YoungJae and you would be alone forever. Wanna try me??" I glared at her, trying to look as bitchy as possible.

"And it is a good scene. Do you agree with me but I think that it is way too cliche, don't you think so?" Hee Ra sipped her lemon water while analyzing the script once more. It is good for preventing sore throats.

"The second female lead would always be the bad guy, always. Can't they change it for once?"

"It is just a musical and it is just for an act. About your image, people wouldn't think bad of you, I'm sure." She placed her shoulder over mine and gave me an assuring look.

"Do you think that I will do well in my role?"

"Do well in your role? Don't you always ace your assessments like always?"

"I mean that I am acting as a girl for the first time and I don't think that I would do well." 

"What are you talking about? You are a girl from the start, how hard is it to act like a girl when you are already a girl?"

"Look at me, I am so boyish that I haven't worn a dress in like more than 10 years. How am I supposed to act out this role when I am so boyish and this role of mine is so feminine?"

"I have faith in you and believe that you would do well like always, I'm sure. Just believe in yourself and say 'you can do it' when you are acting out the role of Kang HyeWon." She put her two hands clenched into a fist. "Hwaiting!! Just like this!! Try it...."

I gave an unwilling face to her and she sighed. She came up and clenched my hands into fists. "Hwaiting..." She whispered to me.

I rolled my eyes slightly and went along with her. "Hwaiting..."

"Louder!! I can't hear you, Hwaiting!!"

"Hwaiting!!" I yelled, making her satisfied with my yelling.

"That's the way to go, girl!! She pinched my cheeks.

I looked at the clock in my room. It says 6.00pm. "15 more minutes before the next mini rehearsal before you go home," I told her. She has a special dinner with her whole family so she needs to go back soon with 6.45pm  the latest.

"Got it!!" She said excitedly.

Hee Ra is at my house now studying the script for the upcoming musical. Hee Ra and I studied the script on our own as we are the only ones taking this elective. The other two are somewhere else. They also have something to do with their elective as well. YiNa is studying fashion while JiEun is studying culinary.

There are also some that have the same part. It is just bad luck that Nam Woohyun is on the same team as I and that means I have to act along with him as a girl. I am acting as his longtime friend and crush, Kang Hye Won. It is a good thing that Hee Ra is the main female lead in her team but she is complaining that Nam Woo Hyun is not on her team. At least she has Mr. Kim Myungsoo in her team.

So the main leads in our team are Nam Woo Hyun as the main male lead, Song AhYeon as the main female lead, Sungyeol as the second male lead and I the second female lead. Why must I have to act as a girl for this musical?? I am always acting as a boy for the previous musical. I don't know what is with the lecturer this time.

Tomorrow would be our first rehearsal as a team. Although I feel weird about being a girl in this musical but I have to act well in this musical in order to get a good grade in this elective.

"JiNa, for this part. Do I have to put pressure in this line??" Hee Ra pointed the line to me. It is the exact part that we acted in out just now. It is about a fight scene. I guess Hee Ra doesn't get any good roles so she is slightly inexperienced in this part. It is the first time that she got a main female role.

"Of course you have to but don't put too much pressure. It would sound like you are forcing it out too much. Just do it naturally."

"Ok...." She nodded and we continued reading the script.

SungYeol

We are having dinner with the other three. It is our tradition to have meals together at least once a week. The others were chatting about random things and I am here looking at the script for the upcoming musical.

I was analyzing the script halfway when... "What are you looking at so intently? A book?" SungKyu hyung asked me. He is also my friend and my older brother by 2 years. He has already graduated from college and is still unemployed. The job that he wanted is very hard to get a place, I hope that he would get a job soon.

"It can't be, from what I know SungYeol can't be reading books. It is something that I would never imagine him doing. What are you reading, SungYeol-ah?" DongWoo hyung asked.

"It is for the upcoming musical, hyung. I am just analyzing the script." I closed my script book and placed it on the table.

"What musical?" SungJong said. He is my younger brother. 

"Full house." Woohyun hyung answered that for me.

"That drama that was one of the hottest drama in the year 2004, that very Full House??" DongWoo hyung asked.

"Eum...." I said in a rather disappointed tone.

"You don't seem very happy, don't you? It is about the characters right?" SungKyu hyung asked again.

"How do you know? He was upset that I am in the same team as he and I were chosen to be the main lead instead of him so..." Woohyun hyung spoke on my behalf again. Why is he always that talkative?

"That's why you were so depressed. It's okay, you can get the main lead the next time." SungKyu patted my back. I gave a faint smile.

"Well, don't talk about depressing things anymore, can't we?? Look, the food is here." Everyone's attention turned to the food as HoWon hyung mentioned food to them.

"Oh ya, who is the female lead in your team?" DongWoo hyung asked innocently, little did he know that the four of us (Me, Woohyun, HoWon and Myungsoo) gulped in fear.

We were going to tell him at some point but not at this time. It would only ruin our moods and appetite if we tell him now.

"Why are you guys so quiet? Cat got your tongue?" SungKyu hyung asked.

"It is not that, hyung. Can we talk about that later after we have finished our meal? I don't want to ruin our appetite." Myungsoo tried to persuade the other three.

"Yea....." We three said in unison, trying to get away from SungKyu hyung's clutches.

"Spill!!! Or else we are not having dinner today!!" We looked up and looked at each other, telling someone brave to tell DongWoo hyung.

"Nobody is willing to tell me? I'll choose." Oh, God... He pointed his finger at me. "SungYeol, you tell us!!" I'm dead now, from this very moment on.

"The female lead is........."
