JiNa
"Remember to breathe every 2 to 3 seconds, you are going to die if you don't." Jieun reminded me as I stood in front of the door, behind the door is the hall which hundreds of people gathered in there for my wedding, the long-awaited wedding that everyone has been anticipating about ever since the wedding announcement was made. "No one wants a bride suffocating on her wedding day just because she forgot how to breathe properly due to extreme nervousness and anxiety."
"You don't need to remind me of it." But it is true, my teeth were chattering and I could barely breathe due to the amount of nervousness that I am feeling right now. I used to think that I can get through the entire wedding with ease, little did I know that I will be like this minutes away from entering the wedding halls and making everyone's heads turned towards us, giving me their fullest attention that they can ever get.
I wonder if Woohyun is feeling this way as well, if not he is having a mental breakdown right now. He is a worrywart that worries about almost everything and he even cried out crying once because he had to speak in front of the entire audience but he is better than he used to be before, he is definitely feeling more nervous as he is facing all the people inside on his own, with his members being there for him.
All of them have made their way to the changing room in their own time to visit me before the wedding, each giving me their dearest wishes and blessings on our wedding. Of course, all of us wanted both of us to last as long as we can, blessed with a lot of children and having a blissful marriage life in general.
SungYeol even cried when he saw me in the wedding dress, he was happy for me that I chose to marry someone else other than him, he knew what he wasn't a good person for me to like and cherish compared to his friend, Nam woohyun. He has fully entrusted that role to Nam Woohyun who will help him fulfil that wish, that wishes that I will never be able to fulfil in this life - getting married to me was his wish.
But other than that, no one else really cried and it is a good thing except for my two brothers who still tries to make fun of me on my wedding day. I guess that teasing their younger sister is never going to stop for a day, not even on my wedding, they are always going to bully me whenever they can and show their acts of affection in their own ways.
"Don't ever shed a tear during the wedding vows, the makeup will smear." She added. "If you really have to cry, make sure that Nam woohyun cries first." I seriously don't know which crybaby will burst out crying at their own wedding, the bride or the groom.
"No one is going to cry," I reassured and my father comes to my side after going to the toilet for the umpteenth time, he has been going to the toilet very frequently these days and it is not that good for his body either. "Appa..." I called for him and he linked his arms with mine.
"Abeoji, I'll leave JiNa with you." She told my father. "I'm going to cheer for you like you are the most beautiful person ever in this world." JiEun makes her way into the wedding hall to take her seat.
"My beautiful daughter, you are finally getting married today. You have grown up into a very elegant lady, not like that tomboy years ago, I might be wrong about that though." He teased me and I smiled, I'm glad that he decided to crack a joke at this time to make me feel less nervous. "I'm sure that your mother in heaven approves of your outfit today and the man that you are going to marry Woohyun is definitely going to love you more than anyone else in this world and no one else can take that place ever."
"Appa, you're making me cry. I shouldn't cry at this time, it is going to ruin my makeup." I told him while pouting, trying very hard to hold my tears back. I can't let a single tear ruin the entire wedding look that I was planning to go for.
"Even if your makeup is going to get ruined, you are still my daughter. You are going to get married but the wedding photos will say otherwise." He squeezes my hand. "Everything is going to be fine, trust me. I have even asked the fortune teller for today's fortune and she said that today is a splendid day and there is a hint of double happiness."
I smiled. "Thank you, Appa." The doors opened and we entered the hall with all of the people standing up and giving us the hardest applauses that they can ever give, all the cameras doing their work taking beautiful and high-quality photos of me and my father walk down the aisle with confidence, making my way towards my future husband.
My father lets go of my hand and entrusts me to the next person who will fulfil that job of his, never letting go of me whether in sickness or death, I greeted my love with a sparkling bright smile and he grinned happily unable to contain his happiness. The wedding vows were said and we agreed to everything that was said, no one cried thanks to SungKyu making us laugh at every sentence spoken.
We exchanged the wedding rings with no one dropping any of the rings on the floor, it was time for us to kiss each other on the lips only to be interrupted by someone else. No, it is not because someone stood up to object to the two of us getting married. It is also because there was an issue with any part of the wedding, everything went smoothly.
"My water broke!" It was my beautiful heavily pregnant girlfriend who dropped a bomb right before the kiss could actually happen, she screamed in pain and Myungsoo was quick to carry her out of the wedding hall to bring her to the hospital. The wedding was halted as a result of a dear friend going into labour, we sent all the guests home before we all made our way to the hospital in our casual attire.
She was almost about to give birth when we arrived and we all hoped that she would pull through and give birth to a healthy baby, whether if it is a boy or a girl. She finally gave birth after midnight, a long 10 hours of labour and it is a baby boy.
All of us leapt for joy when we saw the healthy baby boy got wheeled out of the operating room with HeeRa dozing off straight after, she had gone through a long period of labour and she deserved all the time to rest.
And for us? We completed the wedding ceremony by kissing each other a few days after the actual wedding ceremony with our family and friends witnessing the cute moment. My father was actually correct about the fortune, it really came true and there were double happiness, our wedding and the birth of their first child all on the same day.
I wished that things will continue to happen this way, a little surprise in our blissful marriage will do us good and for everyone around us. Cheers to us finally getting married in the way that we never expected.
