5 years later...

"Tell us more about your role in this drama, how do you feel about acting as a bodyguard?" I was given the question by one of the reporters who wanted an exclusive interview of my newest drama, the one where I would act as a bodyguard for the first time ever.

I smiled as I looked at the reporter, ignoring the camera and pretending that there is no camera being installed to record everything that I had said. It is my way to fight my consciousness of having a camera around, having to face cameras is now quite a stressful thing for me.

"It is definitely a new experience as I have only done roles that don't require me to do a lot of stunt actions, my roles are all very relaxed such as the rich man's son years ago. And I would gain a lot from this role, it would help me to develop a lot of different emotions compared to the other roles that I have done."

The reporter smiled as she was satisfied with my perfect answer, she picked up the next cue card which he read out. "There has a lot of sparks flying between you and the female lead, Song AhYeon. May I know if there is really anything between the two of you?"

My face was sunken as I processed the question in my mind, thinking of the best way to answer so that it doesn't offend anyone involved, especially Song AhYeon herself. It has been years since that happened and she has already apologized for what she had done to me and JiNa and things have cooled down, everything is back to normal and there is little to no tension between the three of us.

"I don't know where the hell did you get that from but I am a happily married man with a family, Song AhYeon is just a close friend and we know each other in real life. So can you stop asking this kind of questions? My wife will not be happy to hear that."

"Oh sorry, I didn't know that you're married. I am too young to know that, but you and your wife are happy together." She kept away all of the cue cards that she has been using to conduct my interview. "That concludes the interview that you are a passionate actor who cares a lot about his family. Thank you for your time, Nam woohyun ssi."

The camera stops rolling and she was laughing, I don't know what her intention is to be asking all of these questions. "You think that it is very funny to be asking me, your friend's husband these kinds of questions that will piss her off but the interview is over now which means that I can do anything I want, Lee JiEun."

The reporter that was conducting the interview wasn't a stranger, she is one of JiNa's closest friends in real life and also one of the distinguished guests that come over to our house for dinner. She quit her position in the culinary industry and decided that she be a reporter after a heavy drinking session. It is a sudden thought that she came up with because she hated her job so much over there and decided that a change of career would be the best.

It has been over 2 years since she has made the career switch from a sous chef to a reporter has made her a totally different person from before, she is happier compared to when she was a chef.

She threw down the cue cards that she was holding onto. "Can you not spoil the fun for once? I was trying to ask you a serious question."

"And what kind of a serious question is that? You do know that I love JiNa a lot and Song AhYeon is just a close friend, you are her friend as well." I reminded her. "Whose life are you trying to ruin?"

She laughed. "Just relax, that part is going to be cut out. It is just a thing that I wanted to show JiNa, that you confessed your love on her on camera."

"You sure about that? The last time, you promised not to tell anything, you told everyone that I sucked at gaming and I had only learned to play because JiNa is an expert at it."

"You didn't say that I can tell others about it, you seemed really confident about it when you slurred that story out of your mouth." She stood up, collecting her cue cards and I helped her with it.

I left the studio and Jieun went back to her work station to work on the interview that is going to be released anytime soon, a couple of people came up to me asking for autographs and I happily signed autographs for them.

I was just too excited for today, there is a perfect reason why. I went inside the lift and there was someone holding the door when I tried to close it, it was a woman wearing shades indoors and she went into the lift not saying a thing which made me feel frightened but at the same time, happy because it is also my wife of 5 years.

"Can you not give me that look every time you see me in the building? People are all talking about you being wrapped around my finger as I had you controlled by my every move." She asked when we are already in the car, it is the one and only places where we would feel the most comfortable, other than our beautiful home.

"Why can't I?" I grabbed her hand and she made a wrong turn, almost turning to the next lane.

She cleared her throat. "Mr. Nam, please keep your lovey-dovey antics to a minimum when I am driving. You wouldn't want both of us to get into a car accident, our beloved child is still waiting for us to pick him up."

I sadly let go of her hand and I began playing with her hair, I will never get bored doing that especially with her hair being this smooth and silky all the time. Must be the expensive conditioner that she invests in... "I forgot about that kid for a moment, I can't believe that he is going to school already. It was only like yesterday that he wore diapers and sucked on his pacifier all day long."

"He is 5, of course, he would go to school. The two of us are working, we can't leave him alone at home with his uncles that comes over almost every single day." She looks at me. "I can't leave him with them, he will turn into an expert gamer and that will be sad. I don't want to turn my kid into a gamer."

"I'm sure that Jihyuk and Minhyuk hyung can do that, they will take care of him, even Hyunwoo brings him out to amusement parks at times."

"I just want him to be a normal child like he should be." She said firmly.

"But our child is not normal, he has the best of our genes and he is definitely going to grow into an amazing individual in the future," I told her. "Our child is special, just like you."

She stares at me for a very long time and she comes closer, she is going to kiss me. I closed my eyes, waiting for that kiss to happen. "You have really dark eye circles, you really must be stressed out worrying about our child not being able to fit in."

I open my eyes and she passed me her shades. "Wear them and you will look like the cool and handsome father that he is."

I wore the shades and I leaned forward to kiss her on the cheeks. "So you still think that I'm cool and handsome?"

She cleared her throat. "Did I say that? It is our child that thinks that way, not me, your wife."

"Not even a little bit?"

"You are more than cool and handsome, you are everything to me. Nothing can describe who you are to me." I smiled at the rare compliment that she has given me, the last time was at our wedding anniversary which is about 6 months ago. "Are you going to stare into space? We have to pick our child up and show his classmates what impressive parents he has."

I nodded eagerly and got out of the car, catching up to her and intertwined my hands with hers as we walked to the school. We are still the same tomboy and handsome guy duo years ago, even if we were married and had kids. Nothing much changes except for our child that came into our life like a miracle.

The End.
