“Love, where do you think you’re going?” he said cheekily.

“That’s none of your business- Mr. Annoying. So, just leave me alone.”

“Haha. You don’t get it do you. Most girls would kill you to be in your position- so what’s your deal?”

“Excuse me? Most girls? I get it- I’m just another option on your menu. Well get this- I don’t adore you, or fan girl over you. As far as I’m concerned, your just another washed up hot shot. So step off.”

“Oh, feisty. I like it. Well it seems we both are wanting something- now aren’t we? I guess you won’t be needing this. . .” he trailed, holding up the charm bracelet.

Confused and annoyed, Janella turned around. There she saw Harry holding up her charm bracelet. Her charm bracelet.

            “Is that my-“

“Huh, yes- it is, isn’t it?” he said smiling.

            “Give that back right now.”

“Hmm. . . it’s quite a pretty bracelet. How about we make each other a deal?”

            “I’m listening. . .”

“You go on one outing with me- and at the end of the night, I’ll give you your bracelet back.”

“Like a date? No way! In your dreams.”

“Well, I guess I get to keep this charm bracelet then, don’t I?”

Clenching her teeth with such force, Janella finally calmed herself.

“And Janella. That’s such a beautiful name for such a hot girl like you.”

Hearing that, Janella grew even angrier.

“Look, just give me my bracelet back. Okay? I just want to be done talking to you and get back to my birthday party.”

“You heard what I said. It’s a deal or no deal- choose.”

Seconds went by and Janella continued to ponder her thoughts. Finally she gave in.

            “What time and when?”

“Glad you finally agreed. I’ll text you.”

“Text me? How do you even have my number?!”

“Guess you dropped a couple of things when we first met . . . I’ll catch you around. Bye, babe.”

Smirking, he turned around and continued to walk in the direction he had been going already- leaving Janella in complete and utter shock.

That’s it. I’m getting my bracelet back and everything will return back to normal.

“Hey come ba-“ she began to yell follow where he had gone, but when she turned the corner- he was already gone.

Ugh. Now I’m going to have to go on that stupid date with him. Well it doesn’t matter. I’ll get my bracelet back, we will go home, he’ll forget about me, and then we can go on our way. Guess I better be on my way.

“J? Is that you honey? How was your walk?” her dad shouted.

“Hey dad, it was fine. The neighborhood is beautiful.”

“Well, I’m glad you like it sweetie. Now if you’ll do me a favor and go upstairs and start unpacking you things- we will finally feel at home!”
