Chris’s P●O●V

He awoke when a loud clatter rang from his floor.

“Oh! I’m so sorry for waking you up and dropping your lunch! This job isn’t as easy as it seems! I’m so sorry!”  A young man- about 24 - apologized.

“No worries. I needed to wake up anyways. Are you a new nurse?”

“Uh, yeah.” He replied, wiping his hands on his pants. “I just started today, but am already screwing up my job! They are going to fire me before I even have the chance to show them what I can do!”

Janella’s dad snickered. “No, you’re doing just fine. You just need to relax, breathe in, and be patient. Nothing’s easy when you first begin- that’s why we have to face our challenged- but keep a smile on our faces.”

Thinking for a moment, the nurse retorted, “I suppose your right. Thanks! My name is Mason.”

“Hi Mason, I’m Chris.”

“Nice to meet you sir.”

“No need to call me sir, just Chris- and the same to you.”

Smiling, Mason picked up the spilled lunch and exited the room.

Good to see others smile.

Harry’s P●O●V

“Janella! Wait come back!” Harry called, chasing after her- but she was already out the door.  Then he saw it. The lights, the cameras, the pap’s.

How did they find him?! Oh no! JANELLA!

Exiting the restaurant, Harry was temporarily blinded by the flashing lighs and cameras. Questions rang through the air- along with the new shouts of ‘Harry! Harry!’.

But where was Janella?!

Then he spotted her. The paparazzi were closing in fast on the two-he had to act fast. Running over to Janella, he quickly grabbed her arm- pulling her off her balance.

“Come on! We got to get out of here!”

Janella was still rubbing her eyes- unable to respond. Realizing that he couldn’t just leave her, or let them keep traveling at that pace-for that matter- he swooped down and picked her up- flinging her over his shoulder.

Run, Harry. Run!

Reaching his car, he pushed Janella into the passenger seat, slamming his door shut, and quickly locking the doors. Not bothering to put on his seat belt (once again), he looked behind him for any oncoming cars, pulled out, and sped away.

They were safe- hopefully.

“Janella. What did they say to you? What happened? Are you okay?” he interrogated her, not bothering to take his eyes off the road and the rearview mirror. But she didn’t respond.

Glancing towards her seat, he saw that she was sleeping- or maybe she fainted.

Oh, snap. The lights have worn her out- and now the paparazzi are after us. This is going to be hard to explain to her and everyone else. . .

Speeding along the road even faster, he decided to make a quick decision. Should he go hide in the park as always- no, that wasn’t safe anymore. He couldn’t go home either- everyone would know where he lived. What should he do?! Then it hit him- time to visit a friend.
