“Why do you keep trying?”
“Trying what?”
“You know what I mean.”
He sat back as they continued to drive and thought for a moment.
“Well, why shouldn’t I keep trying?”
“Oh, you know exactly why.”
“It’s still worth it.”
“Not really; Nothing is going to happen. We aren’t even really friends.”
Harry smirked.
“We aren’t are we?”
“Nope.”
Smiling he continued to drive.
Wow. How could he honestly think that in all times like this that I’d actually like him. He’s still so arrogant and annoying.
I don’t even want to be here anymore. This whole move was a waste of my life. I just want it to be done.
“Where are we going, now?”
“You’ll see.”
“Ugh, no. Can’t you just take me home? I just want this whole day to be over with.”
“No, I cannot. Now come on- cheer up.”
“Impossible.”
“Not if you try!”
“In your dreams.”
He began to laugh- and couldn’t stop.
“What?”
“You just love that catch phrase don’t you?”
“No, I love the truth and reality, but only I put that out- no one else gives it to me.”
He breathed. “I’m sure that’s not true.”
“Oh, but it is. Just drop me off at my house.”
“Haha- nope. You’re in my car- so my rules.”
Happily he sped off to their unknown destination.
