Chapter 15

Arthit POV

Calm down heart! What's up with you? Why does it feel like I am almost about to melt away. My head is fuzzy. I cannot think straight. I stopped the car in a deserted corner and rubbed my palm against my chest. Calm down. Take a deep breaths Arthit. Dammit why is it drumming against my chest so hard? Just because he hugged me? I am feeling all this? No, I don't think that it is it... But then... What does it supposed to mean?Why do I feel butterflies in the pit of my stomach? Why?

Well, Mook was too much today. Next time I am going to make sure she is no where around 1 foot from Kongpob. As soon as I reached my house, I just plopped down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Is Kongpob dating someone? Come to think of it, I never really asked him anything about his personal life. I should ask him some day.

Just then my phone pinged indicating a message.

I reached P'. I hope you are okay. I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable.

WAIT! He thinks I was uncomfortable when he hugged me? Shit!

No Simba! I was just startled. That's all. I am not uncomfortable or anything.

P'..... Can you not call me that?

I chuckled at his reply. I retorted with a reply that I seriously meant.

Why? You let your ex-girlfriend call you that? Why am I not allowed?

1 minute. 2 minutes. 3minutes. I got no reply from him. I re read my message only to drop my phone in embarrassment. Shit! Why am I comparing myself with his Ex-Girlfriend. I am not his boyfri- that or anything. Shit. Shit. Shit.

After what seemed like a decade, I got a reply.

Okay P' I don't mind. If you find it cute, have it your way😊

Unknowingly a smile appeared on my face. He really is so cute. I flailed my hands and legs in the air laughing with shyness.

I quickly replied, getting back to reality.

Of course I find the name the cute. But someone else is also cute😉

I was content with my reply as well as embarrassed with my shameless flirty comment. I wonder what's he thinking right now. I could bet he was red with embarrassment. I so want to see him right now.

I wonder who that someone is... 🤔

I snorted at his reply. So darn cute.

Aww... It's already so late and time to say bye.

Anyone who saw me right now would think I am a psychopath smiling for no reason at all, to them that is. But for me I have all the rightful reasons to smile at the moment. I don't know what this is but the tingling sensation in my stomach won't stop disturbing me.

With the same extravagant smile, I went to bed. Hoping there would be a better tomorrow like today.

I woke up with a start. Not to mention that I had a beautiful night before. I smiled all the way to the entertainment building. As usual, the place was crowded with fans. I scanned through the crowd and smiled at them charmingly. They are so adorable. Just when I was answering the girls, I saw a guy far behind the crowd smiling at me. I looked carefully and he looked familiar. Wait is it? Yes it is. Its Kongpob!

He raised his a hand a bit and waved at me. I smiled back and nodded.  I was so happy to see him. But my happiness didn't last long until I saw a girl tugging his shirt. Again, I recognized who it was. It's that friend of him from the library. Annoying. She was laughing and giggling to him. He just smiled to her and looked back at me and offered a sweet smile,before walking away with the girl behind him. I watched them as they went.

They can be so normal with each other. I can't even wave at him openly. I was a bit pissed and more sad. I entered the entertainment building. I saw Mook laughing to the director while reading the script. Then there was Bright sitting with Rome who seems extra bubbly today. P'Yui came upto me and said, "Get ready Arthit, today would be your 4th episode's shoot."

I nodded at her and walked to the dressing room. I was feeling laid back. It's as though that one scene of him a with the girl made me not want to do anything but pull him to me, away from the girl. And it hurts to know that neither can I pull him nor do I have the right to. Maybe I should ask him about the girl later,when we meet.

We shot many scenes. Mook was doing an excellent job as Bibi. I think this drama, for a change would be more dramatic then my previous ones. But whatever it is, I want to give my best. But today, my acting just didn't seem to reach the feels required for the fans to feel the emotions. However I pulled it off after getting few warnings from the director.

After what felt like century, the shooting was over and I was called by the director to his room.

He asked me to sit down and said, "Arthit, I hope everything is okay? Cheer up. Today is the first time I have seen you so dejected. If you want a break let me know okay?"

I simple nodded and walked out. Suddenly, Mook came running with her manager and went into the director's room. As soon as they entered there seemed to be a heavy discussion taking place.

After a while she came out with her face flushed with relief. She smiled wryly at me before saying, "Sorry P' I almost got your friend a Kongpob into trouble, but it should sorted out by tomorrow"

I was shocked.

"What do you mean by trouble to Kongpob?"

She showed her phone to me biting her lower lip indicating that she did something wrong and she was feeling guilty about it.

I took the phone from her and read through the article

The headline read,

"Actress Mook spotted with an anonymous guy  near a  Café"

I scrolled down and saw a picture of her and guy who looked like Kongpob. No..it can't be.

I looked at her and back at the article in disbelief.
