Chapter 36- Tossed

*Azra/ Sierra's P.O.V*

"Right baby?"

I asked and damn, if only looks could kill, I'd be dead a thousand times.

His one hand covered his mouth while the other hung loosely on his waist as he glared at the ground. He was taking slow and gentle breaths.

Calming himself down, I guess..

And he nodded to himself taking one deep breath. He faked a smile to the lady and grabbed the rings from my hand and examined it.

If I was a man then I would've been curb stomped 6ft deep into the ground.

He looked at the old lady, "You know, she is my life", he said smiling at the lady. I know he was hiding something under his sleeves but the way he said that fluttered something in my heart.

"I never do anything without her", he said smiling down at me. I had this wierd smile playing on my lips, but my eyebrows were lightly furrowed.

He is surely up for something..

"Whats a carnival without a competition? So babe, lets play the game yeah?", he asked throwing a sheepish smile at my face which was trying its best to keep a happy face.

What game?

The lady was admiring us with a soft smile on her face, with her head slightly tilted.

If only she knows..

"So babe, here take this..", he said and handed me two rings and I looked at him confused. I was slowly starting to regret coming in here.

I hesitantly grabbed the ring with a questioning look on my face. Now I had two rings while he had two..

Oh no.....

"Lets see who tosses it right, whoever gets the least toss have to be the other one's very personal assistant", he said emphasizing the word 'very' making shivers run down my spine.

Why is he so confident? And what kind of game is this? I suck at this game..God please help me..

Noticing my face he chuckled before pulling me in for a hug, making me even nervous, "You started this baby, now finish it", he whispered in my ear. He pulled away before placing a kiss on my temple.

Oh I forgot we are acting..

"I- but, Im not good at th-",

"Shshsh baby, it doesnt hurt to try. Plus, who knows you might get both of it right", he said with an 'encouraging' look on his face.

I was glaring at him. I dont care if I dont get to toss the rings right. I just cant be his VERY personal assistant.

"Y-you first", I said and he looked offended, "Ladies first always babe, what kind of a man I'd be if I let you go last", he said making the woman chuckle at us.

She didnt even talk much with us. Or maybe, thats just the way she is..

"C'mon babe", he said placing his hand on my mid back. Thats not helping at all you bloody babe!!

I sighed and aimed at the bottle with the ring on my hand, "Thats right baby", he encouraged and I rolled my eyes.

And I threw it towards the bottle and I waited until it'd get into the bottle.

I gasped as the ring flew across the room and knocked down some of the kids toys. I clasped my mouth shut with both of my hands and looked at the old woman with my eyes wide.

Colby snickered and I could feel his chest vibrating with laughter. The old woman burst out laughing making this idiot of my "boyfriend" to laugh along with her.

My cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Atleast she is not mad. My eyes moved to the others who was standing here to see they was stifling their laughters too.

This is what you get when you try to purposely embarrass someone..

It felt like even my heart was laughing at me, "Okay okay, theres still another ring", the lady pointed at the other ring in my hand. Her face was red with all the laughing. And she was still chuckling.

I looked at Colby who was looking down at me with a big grin on his face. I furrowed my eyebrows at him and turned my attention back to the bottle.

I aimed and threw the ring in so much of speed. The speed was way more than I intentended to throw it. Our eyes frantically searched for the ring I threw.

Well....oops

Where did that damn thing vanish?!

"Where is the ring babe?", Colby asked as he was searching for the ring while biting his lip, trying not to laugh.

Our eyes fell on the woman who was sprawled on the chair, laughing her wrinkly ass off! I heard snickers around me. I was beyond embarrassed.

I looked at Colby who was looking aside laughing then turned to me, "Where did you throw it?", he asked with his voice shaking with laughter. I felt so tiny when everyone was laughing at me.

I slowly shook my head at him indicating that I had no idea where it dissappeared. The woman's laugh isnt helping at all.

Colby stared at me and I looked back at him with my furrowed eyebrows. A soft laugh escaped his lips, "Okay Okay C'mere", he pulled me in for a hug. He was still chuckling though he is trying hard not to.

He had one of his hand rubbing the back of my head while the other rubbed my back, "Its nothing okay, nothing to shrink", he tried to settle this for me.

I didnt know if he was acting or....Oh! Of course he is acting!! Stop overthinking Azra!!

But its comforting as hell! I just wanna stay inside this forever.

"Dont laugh", I mumbled and he heard it before chuckling, "Okay I wont, I forgot it", he said and I nodded.

"But laugh it off would you? Its not a new thing that all your rings have an invisible wings", he said pulling away from me making me immediately miss his warmth.

I sighed. My whole mood spoiled at this Ring Toss. I wish I didnt drag him here. If only I knew that I was gonna get embarrassed .....

"Okay okay, my turn", he said grinning lightly and thank god everyone's attention fell on him.

All I can do is hope...

I dont want him to toss it right but at the same time I didnt want him to be embarrassed like I did. This is my stupid heart everyone..

He threw a ring with ease but cursed when it fell right next to the bottle making me leave a huge sigh of relief.

"Awwwwwwwwww..this close, this close", the woman moaned in dissappointment while I just stood there silently watching him. Yes, him! I cant help it okay! I wish he didnt hug me like he did. It made my whole inner muscles weak.

My eyes roamed on his face. He didnt look THIS happy when we entered here. Now, look at him, all grinning and ready for a game. He looked like he was enjoying himself.

He was joking with that old woman while aiming to hit the bottle. He bent down his head a little to focus and there was this little smile on his face. Automatically, a soft smile spread across my face at his sight. He sure is perfection. Though 3/4 of the time he is a renowned jerkface, my Colby is still inside this Colby 2.0 version.

"OH MY GOD!!", the woman yelled and making me snap out of my trance to see Colby looking wide-eyed. I looked at the lady to see that she was wide eyed too.

I looked at them confused before I turned to look at where he had tossed his final ring.

Oh my....................

Where did Colby tossed it?!
Awwwwww...Sierra was cute when she was embarrassed right?
And Colby hugged her to make her feel better!!!
