Piero started to passionately kiss me. I felt my entire face blush as I closed my eyes slowly and allowed myself to kiss him back. My arms flew around his neck as he stopped to look me in the eyes. The desire filled his eyes again as I smiled up at him. He quickly realized what he was doing and sat up on his knees looking confused and sad.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to rush into this Amore!" He apologized
"No Piero my love, it's okay honestly. Don't worry about it." I smiled and placed my hand on his, "I promise I will tell you if I want you to stop or not, okay?"
"Alright," he sighed softly, and sat next to me, "I will not rush this Amore, I promise."
"I will keep you to that!" I giggled to him.
"Of course you will." He chuckled in response.
I sat up and looked at him, his brown eyes piercing right through me. He smiled at me as he took my hand is his, as his lips brushed over my knuckles. I pushed back a strand of hair from his eyes and tucked it behind his right ear. I couldn't help but smile as I saw him look in the opposite direction, biting his lip. Suddenly, I felt dizzy. I placed a hand to my forehead as I fell into his arms. That's when everything went black....
A short while later, I woke up in Piero's embrace. The morning Sun was rising as I shuffled out of his embrace and walked to the balcony. The curtains fluttered in the light breeze as I perched over the rails and watched as the morning Sun rose over the sea.
I heard Piero moving around, awakening from his long sleep. I realized that he was shirtless and had dressed me in my pajamas, he's so kind. I approached back into the bedroom as he sat up in the bed to put his glasses on.
"Good morning, amore." I smiled to him.
"Good morning my beautiful Fiore. You had me worried when you fainted."
"Yeah sorry about that, it just happens." I chuckled nervously.
"No need to apologise my love." He chuckled back to me, "what would you like to do today?"
"I was thinking we could walk around? Christmas is coming up and I haven't done any shopping. With you three added on the list, I've got a lot more work shifts I need to do."
"I never asked, where do you work?" He questioned me, getting off the bed.
"I work in a little bakers shop in Venice. I know the manager so he lets me work there when I'm in desperate need for money."
"That man is very kind." Piero added, kissing my forehead, "Amore, I'm going to freshen up, is that okay?"
"Go ahead, I'll be here waiting." I smiled.
And with my final word, Piero left to take a shower and clean. I sat on the edge of the bed, and looked over to my phone. As I grabbed it, I turned it on and saw that latest text message. It was from my father.
Text from Dad <3: Fiore, honey. I hope that your date went well last night. Let me know where you are so I know you're okay as you didn't come home last night. Love you, Ezio xx
Text message to Dad <3: I'm fine dad, we're staying at a hotel in Chioggia. I'll be staying here for a while if that's okay. Me and Piero just want some alone time. xx
Within a few minutes my father replied back to my text.
Text from Dad <3: That's okay, text me when you're on your way home. Your mother should be back in the next few days so I'll fill her in when she arrives. Have fun xx
