"Are you joking? Twins!?" Piero shook, trying to figure out what I had just said.

"Yes, Piero. I'm not joking. I didn't expect it either." I sighed, running my hands down his arms, "But we can do this, you always said we'd do it together."

"I know I did, amore." He eventually cracked a smile, and I took the opportunity and hug him tightly, "Now, let's go do some baby planning."

-- Months Later --

"It's alright amore! Just hold tight! We'll be there soon!" Piero reassured me quickly, speeding down the streets of Italy once more.

I and Piero decided to take a trip to the small country of Luxembourg right before I was meant to be in the hospital preparing for the babies arrival. However, days after returning home, I had found myself in pain I've never felt before. I knew that it was contractions that were just starting, and they were early. Piero had worked himself up thinking that I was actually giving birth and decided to rush me to the hospital earlier than expected.

When we reached the hospital, Piero held my arm in his and we walked down the hallway and into the private room. No matter how many times I refused for something, Piero would still bring it to me. I was getting to the point where both my frustration and humorous side were clashing together that I started laughing and crying at the same time. Even right before Katia, Ignazio, Gianluca, and Melissa came into the room.

"Woah?" Ignazio jumped, looking at me giggling away and crying, "Piero did you upset the flower?"

"No!" Piero exclaimed, hitting Ignazio over the back of the head, "It's all her hormones getting over the place."

"Shut up both of you before I have to get my science knowledge out of my brain." Katia chuckled, walking over to sit next to me, "Contractions?"

"Yeah." I replied shortly, "Katia I tell you don't have kids. The pain is horrible."

"I've always wanted to experience what it's like having contractions." Ignazio smiled, and I could see him picturing the image in his head.

"Oh, believe me, Ignazio." Melissa laughed, "You really don't want to."

"Why? What's so wrong about having a baby?" Ignazio chuckled, but immediately stopped when we all glared at him, "Oh? It's that bad?"

"It's even worse where I kick you where the sun doesn't shine." I growled, rubbing my forehead in discomfort and agony, "But thank you all for coming to be my therapeutical support."

"Amore, you know that's what we're for." Piero smiled, laying next to me in my bed as I flipped through contracts that Stella, my manager, had mentioned to me a few months ago, "What's this?"

"Oh, never you mind." I sighed, "Just a few contracts, that's all."

That's when I felt a wave of nausea fill my head and stomach, Oh gosh. I pressed the button to call for the nurse as she came rushing in, urging Piero to get off the bed. I screamed intensely as both the nurse and Piero reassured me everything was going to be okay.

For what felt like hours, I lay there either catching my breath or following the instructions the nurse gave me. Piero cradled my head when the last of the pain faded away, and two of our bundles of joy were brought into this world.

But, little did I know at that time...

Piero had made a secret bargain...

"And how's the mother doing?" My mother chuckled as I sat on the couch back at the house, our little daughter cradled in my arms.

"I'm doing well, actually." I smiled, cooing over my daughter, "Mamma, I think you've got a lot to teach Piero."

As I glanced over towards Piero, he was pacing around with our son not knowing what to do. He was telling him an Italian story, one that seemed like a fantasy but it wasn't. It was the story of how we had met when we were little. I looked back over to my mother, who was giggling away and taking my daughter out of my arms.

"So? What're the names?" She asked me, using her index finger to poke my nose lightly, "Tell your mother early before you announce it at your tour."

"Alright," I smiled, "We decided on two pure Italian names, Ignazia and Ermanno."

"Ignazia is the feminine version of Ignazio, how is he going to react when he hears that." My mother laughed, wrapping her arms around me and into a deep hug.

"I don't know, but I sure hope he doesn't make a fuss over it." Piero sighed, "I think it's time we put them down, Mrs. Lombardi?"

"Don't worry about it you two." My mother reassured, taking the twins from us, "You two go get some rest, I'll be your nanny. They're in safe hands and you know that."

"I know mother, but still after everything that's happened I just get the feeling that something bad was going to happen." I sighed, approaching the stairs, taking it step by step as I approached the bedroom with Piero.

We both sat there for a while, trying to gather our thoughts that had seemed to go rogue over the past couple of months. He sat beside me, taking my hands in his as our foreheads touched. He looked deep into my eyes, he desperately wanted to whisper something as I could sense it, but it looked like there was a hint of guilt behind his eyes. This guilt I had never seen before, and that's where my bubble burst.

"Barone, what are you keeping from me?" I muttered, clenching his hands and digging my nails into his skin.

"What! Fiore, you're hurting me!" He screamed, trying to break his hands-free, but I didn't let him.

"Tell me what you did!!" I shouted, forcing him to face me as the guilt became more obvious on his face, "WHO DID YOU BARGAIN WITH!?"

"Your Auntie!"

"What!?"
